  1. I bet girls flock for you. Sheesh, get with the times, Bubsa! Only losers call them girls nowadays - everyone knows they're called digging tools! How do you expect to be hip without knowing the lingo? Represent the 'hood, and all that hat.

A lot of people in my grade attend morning class for mathematics, and that starts at 0800. The vast majority of them are doing well and are functioning members of society. Many people have also had commitments early in the morning for the school. I myself have, over the years, had morning classes, football training and orchestra, the latter two starting at 0730. Nowadays, I don't participate in them, but every wednesday I am at school until 2030 for fencing. It takes me an hour and a half to travel to and from school, barring any bus or train delays. All this has been done with my own free will. It shows that there's no reason for you people to not be able to cope with it.
  3. Are you kidding me? The Asian "gangsta" culture almost makes me ashamed to be a godless yellow devil.
  4. Or you could, you know, be a man and just tell her that you're not ready for a serious relationship, because you really aren't.
  5. Yes, yes, welcome to the Collective. Watch out, because there has been a bear going around recently mauling people.
  6. Hey, it's Terley... Sieg heil!
  7. Do you have any evidence to support your assumption that they hate you on the basis of your race? Whatever the case, most of us are telling you to forget about girls and focus on your studies. Dump her because she's dumb enough to stay with you after you cheated on her, then smack yourself upside the head for forcing the situation to come to that.
  8. Your relationship is a farce. If she's dumb enough to still go out with you after that stunt, she certainly isn't worth dating in my books. On that note, if you're dumb enough to drink irresponsibly at that age, I sure as hell wouldn't fancy your chances of landing with anyone worthwhile anytime soon. Worry about your education, because it'll be worth more to you than anything you could possibly think to derive from that sort of relationship.
  9. Tyrian is an ancient game in its own right, and its music is in LDSMidi format. Its soundtrack is rather good, and far and away better than Runescape's. What I see as JAGeX's problem is that their composer is relatively inexperienced, and they haven't bothered to put resources into redoing some of the older tracks. That would probably improve the gameplay experience somewhat, but most of their customers would probably be irritated if they poured resources into updates that didn't add stats or new areas.
  10. Some of the music is decent and bearable, only JAGeX has to stick to their standard of coming up with something great, then implementing it in a way that's absolutely moronic. Such as making up good music and setting its zone to be the middle of nowhere. Oh, and I agree with Bubsa. Stop abusing our language using your ten-foot pole with [bleep]es on.
  11. In that case, you'll have to arrange for your own transportation to school unless there is a formal announcement that school is, in fact, cancelled for the day. Unless you're in America or primary school, in which case you'll probably learn more by rolling around on the floor at home anyway.
  12. Holy crap! Surely it has nothing to do with Runescape being a Role-Playing Game!
  13. Hope you know Lotus Petal is restricted. :) Doesn't matter, I still used them. Oh, and Dark Ritual, which is illegal. I used to run Shadow... 8 Swamp 2 Lotus Petal 4 Dark Ritual 4 Dauthi Horror 4 Dauthi Slayer 2 Dark Banishing 4 Terror 4 Duress 4 Ostracize 1 Haunted Crossroads 1 Vile Requiem 2 Unholy Strength You can afford to run 8 lands in a 40-card deck because the odds are in your favour at the initial draw. Frankly, the best play I've ever managed to get with this deck was: Turn 1: Swamp, Lotus Petal (sac) -> double Dark Ritual, double Dauthi Slayer, double Unholy Strength. Empty hand. Turn 2: Ostracize, attack for 8 Turn 3: Attack for 8 Turn 4: Attack for 8, win Plus, with such a small deck size, it's very easy to get the cards you need. It's also very easy to luck out and outright lose. The other deck I ran was a Black/Green/White zombie deck using our good friend of a set, Apocalypse, and such absurd cards like Strength of Night to go with swarms of cheap 2/2 multicolour zombies. I can't remmember the exact list anymore, since it's been a good three years or so since I last played MtG.
  14. A samurai was a mounted archer first and foremost. I suppose you'll be pulling hit and run attacks, then? Please. A warrior of a samurai or knight's calibur doesn't stay alive on a battlefield very long if he doesn't know how to make his opponents overextend either with his weapon or with his forces. Deception is something you use to keep your own men alive. It's more honourable to value the lives of your men more than what you think your enemy would think of you. As for this so-called "honour code", what's the point? There is no way you can enforce it amongst the entire PKing community. You think honour is charging into battle without an avenue for tactical retreat. They think honour is charging into battle with the expectation that the enemy won't use any of his tricks to keep him alive. Honour is not something you try to foster in a community like Runescape, because the community is too large, too diverse and moreover, there is no incentive for it.
  15. I don't know where you got that idea from, but it is wrong. Read: Suspension of disbelief. yes because i remember back in 1802 when dragons, goblins, ghost and flying carpets existed...ohh wait that never happened ANYTHING can happen in a game it doesn't even have to be cool Oh, yes, because in 1802 there was still widespread use of full plate armour and battle axes. Runescape isn't set in the real world, hence it doesn't stick to a time period. However, it still has to be believable. Suspension of disbelief. Please don't try to argue with it until you have read it and understood its meaning. If something is just far too ridiculous or looks too unrealistic, it breaks the integrity of the game and its ability to immerse the player. Boots with [bleep]es on is one of these things. Dragons, magic and such I can handle, because what examples in real life outside of art do we have of them to base their "realism" on? Exactly. Nothing. Do we have examples of boots and do we know how they work? Yes we do. So if you want to add any boots, they should be believable within the scope of what we know of them. Maybe, but then what would the [bleep]e be mounted on? If it's above your toes, the base would crush them after heavy walking unless it's really just a stud rather than a true [bleep]e. If it's at the front and just bends upwards, that's even more extra, unbalanced weight on your foot.
  16. I agree with this. Though involving the authorities will probably take a lot of time and effort. The best way to deal with bad neighbours is to get rich so that you don't have them. You can still have bad neighbours then, only they'll be snobby and can afford good lawyers.
  17. They dont care ...... :wall: They damn well should. It's your (or your parents') taxes paying their salaries.
  18. No, not really. Seriously, the only thing your friend should have done to that guitar was stick old Soviet or WWI propaganda on it.
  19. uhhm crafters guild was f2p when it started? :S bandit camp excisted in rsc as f2p castle f2p to so what are u talking about? Excuse me, but you are wrong. They were both turned into nonmember areas some time after their release.
  20. I would be literate, with high levels of respect for the English language.
  21. I downloaded it. I don't really intend to use it much, but hey, it's only 55mb. Plus, y'know, it's free software that has no risk of later legal action. Sold.
  22. A bolt action rifle isn't semi automatic. This is what we in the profession call a ZING.
  23. Step 1: Acquire a large, muti-ton vehicle. Step 2: Ram them 'till they give up.
  24. Why would you waste bamboo when you can cut it on a diagonal to make a spear that would be infinitely more efficient? Also, to add onto what Rick said, you will want to make sure that the wood and string as never left in any damp places for very long. You would also do well to make sure the wood won't splinter, because if you release an arrow and splintered wood suddenly contracts right under your hand, it could get nasty. Very nasty indeed. If you want, you can also try using multiple layers of different types of wood and horn laminated together. Compound bows, I suppose, would be a right bother to make, but the extra punch and range would be well worth it. A good guideline for arrows, particularly for larger bows, is the cloth-yard - two and a half feet, if I remember correctly.

I don't have a little brother. However, considering my girlfriend's sister is older than I am, there would be a raised eyebrow. Perhaps even one and a half. That, and my girlfriend's sister scares me.
