Nothing too exciting, just a "Sorry I was too drunk" text. Some New Years "festivities" were interrupted by the fact that I had to go puke. I'm just not sure how to word the message haha. Edit: I think it's going to have to wait until tomorrow though, since it's almost one in the morning and that's probably a bit too late to text her.

I "have to" send a super awkward text. I'm not looking forward to this haha. I've been putting it off but I think I should probably just do it.

We have $5 Tuesdays. Or at least we used to, haven't been in a while. But tickets are normally $10.50 I think.

Stuff got kind of out of hand last night... what I though was going to be a small kind of low key party turned into a rager. I'll just summarize by saying that I woke up at six in the morning on my bathroom floor. I really really hope there are no pictures from the party. (Although I looked fantastic, wore my suit. Luckily I needed to get it dry cleaned anyways, cause I'm pretty sure the pants have some vomit on them.)

I was supposed to hang out with my ex-girlfriend today, but she's sick so that fell through. It's fine though, I'm honestly not too upset about it. I think she has an actual reason (aka she isn't pretending to be sick) and she actually rescheduled for later in the week so that's all fine. Plus, my friend is apparently coming up the the apartment with some of his friends so that's going to be a good time. Anyways, just checking in RQ since I don't think I've posted here all that much in a while. Everything got really busy with finals and the holidays. Plus I got a 3DS and Pokemon Y for Christmas, so that's eaten up 20 or so hours over the past 4 days :P

Well I don't actually owe it to them as far as I can tell. It looks like a mistake filing it. My income on the year was something like $2.5K, so if I owe them that much there's something wrong.

My problem with Yeezus is mostly the hype it got. It's not a terrible album, but it shouldn't be an album of the year contender by any means, in my opinion. -------------------------- So the IRS thinks that I owe them $1,100 in back taxes from two years ago. I don't even have that much money to my name.

I have a confession. I think Yeezus, on a whole, is awful. There are like 3 decent songs and the rest are exceedingly bad lyrically and production-wise. I really don't get why everyone (*cough*p4k) is so on Kanye's dick. I wouldn't even put it in top 5 hip-hop releases of the year, never mind top 5 albums. MDBTF was a solid 9 in my opinion though.

Nah, I had just been talking to her on the phone, that's probably why I mentioned it. Don't know what there is to question though.

Went Christmas shopping. Spent a ton of money (for a poor college student that is). Bought my dad super expensive socks, even with my 20% discount it was still more than $10 a pair. Bought my ex something, I'm not going to see her until after Christmas though even though she said we would see each other on Sunday. Oh well. All in all a pretty good day though.

I missed out at my last chance for an open bar. Both at the wedding and at an after party. It sucked, being 19. My mom bought me ice cream though, so it almost made up for it haha. I would have been happy with just a glass of wine and a beer honestly.

I've got a radio show from 3:00-5:00. Should be a good time. Maybe I'll tell you guys where you can listen some day, but not today. I'm pretty excited, this is my first real show aside from my on-air demo. It's just a fill-in but it's cool none the less.

Hey guys, still working. Project due in like two hours. I haven't slept yet. I haven't studied at all for chemistry. Definitely taking a nap after I turn this in. I can sleep for like, an hour? That's [bleep]ing abysmal. I could probably actually sleep for two but I really need to study. Gotta stop typing this and work.

Alternatively, you'll end up like me and end up wasting time and money because your high school suffered some last-minute delays and never officially sent in the records to complete your application. :-P Yeah. I honestly don't remember how it all ended up working out for me. Seems like there's no way it should have looking back at it. I think maybe I sent my transcript and stuff before I actually applied to the schools. Maybe I just had to have my application in before a certain date and the records could be sent later? All I know is that I got wait-listed by my top school and then accepted in May. So that was cool and overly dramatic on a whole. My family wanted to kill me over it haha.

Also, when I was a senior in high school I still hadn't even applied to a single school yet at this point, never mind been accepted. I didn't apply until the deadline, which I believe was January 31. Still made it into the school I wanted though.

We're approaching 12 hours of working on this project now, kids (to be fair, like 4 hours of actual work). Only 2 cigs left, can I do it? Also I keep forgetting, but I have to copy over my entire notebook and add in some journal entries that I never did. [bleep]ing great. I'm actually not going to be sleeping tonight by the looks of it. Edit: Also, good luck getting into MIT, [letters] (rocco)! The fact that you could even possibly get into MIT is pretty impressive I must say. Even if you don't get in, you should be proud of having done well enough to realistically consider it.

Entire project due in 9 hours, chem exam as well tomorrow. [bleep] me I need to get my shit together. Also my friend offered me a beer in the process of typing this, so that's happening.

I'd say that's an argument of long term vs. short term. It's all about a healthy mix of selfishness and selflessness, in my opinion. The selfish option can be great in the short term for sure and [bleep] you over later. I can definitely speak from personal experience on this, as someone who tried to be selfish and lost because of it. Everything in moderation.

Oh god, Skyrim consumed all my free time for like a solid year. The entire second half of my freshman year to be sure and most of my sophomore year too. I've been pretty good about it this year though. Finals week is definitely not the time to start either.

Been a TIF member 7 years yesterday. That's crazy. Also, hurt my back so that's been a shitty time.
