    I am very excited.
  2. 24 makes much more sense. I was quite confused to say the least when you said 42, since you certainly don't look 42.

That video was a lot less awkward than expected. I really didn't care about any of the stuff you were talking about, but I was entertained anyways. I think having other people around to kind of have a conversation with helped make it seem natural as opposed to awkwardly talking to yourself. So yeah, good job.
  4. A personal favorite of mine: http://www.dartmouth...ssHamRing.shtml I posted this in the old food thread which some of you may remember, although I actually typed it all out then. I hope you guys will excuse my linking to it this time, but I think dartmouth.edu is a safe enough site to link to. It takes probably an hour total with prep and cook time, depending on how much of what you use is fresh and how much isn't. I personally use fresh ingredients for everything except the parsley, since no one has time to actually chop parsley. My tip would be the smaller you can chop everything, the better. Mixing is also crucial, you want the ingredients to be evenly distributed, but you don't really want to over mix either. A final recommendation would be to actually put tin foil on top of whatever cookie sheet you are baking it on and grease that, it makes clean up a ton easier.

Grain alcohol is a thing. People usually don't drink it straight, but it has certainly been done. Never had it personally, 100 proof is as far as I am willing to go. Although to be fair it's also the strongest alcohol I have ever had, so who knows. Edit: I'm also still fighting the urge to play old school runescape. Oh god do I want the nostalgia...

You are much to young to be drunk posting.

Honestly, seems like a good idea to get on a bus when you are under the influence. Certainly safer than driving and probably still much safer than walking. That's basically the reason why buses run so late at my school. On the pie discussion, I like all pie for the most part. I don't like peanut butter, so that one would be out of the question. Other than that, as long as it is a well made pie, I will probably love it.

I've been playing very little minecraft lately, and when I do it's about 5 minutes of the feed the beast mod and then logging off because I'm out of ideas on what to do. I haven't played vanilla since December, so maybe I'll go back to that for a little while. Although more likely I'll just try to plan out a build for my FTB world, since that has a lot more to offer me than vanilla.

Just a cold as far as I know. Its not to terrible. I just hope it's gone by Friday since I have a chem exam and it's the start of spring break. On the plus side, it's a gorgeous 50 degrees and sunny outside.

I am sick. That's not okay with me.
  11. Amazing how much life gets in the way of things, huh? I still check in from time to time, but school fighting robotic vampire aliens takes up a lot of my time.

How do you check this without actually logging in and resetting it? You don't. Log into the lobby but don't actually go into the game.

Yeah, it looks like it comes with standard membership. At this point I just want to feel the nostalgia for a while, so I honestly might buy a month of membership and just [bleep] around for a few hours. I don't know though, I just checked my account and it's been 878 days since last time I logged in. That's not a streak I really want to break lol. I have way to much stuff to do to be able to play a game like Runescape.

I'm going to break the cardinal rule of off topic here but, this old school Runescape seems like it's an awesome idea. It's almost enough to get me to play. If I could try it for like a day for free, I'd probably buy membership and start playing again (which would be a horrible thing, I can't afford to start wasting my time on an mmo again). This is technically relevant to the thread since I found out about it today, so no one give me shit for mentioning it. Oh god, new page. My shame will be even more visible now.

I don't know about the demo, but if you're playing the full game in single player, you only need your internet connection for long enough to log into your account and check for updates. And even then, you can just play in offline mode, which is exactly the same, minus custom skins and stat tracking, as far as I know.

You've done more than I have in two days playing a mod that I've been playing for about a month. Which version of the modpack are you using, and are you playing it survival or creative (or at least with cheat mode on in NEI)? I'll probably make a post tomorrow about what I've been doing (which is basically spending forever trying to make solar panels) and maybe start on relocating to an actual base instead of a platform with a ton of machines on it. Also, use magmatic engines in place of combustion engines? I've never used them myself, but I think they will do what you want, better than the combustion engines will. But that's just a guess.

First day of the new semester today, I wish I hadn't stayed up until 2 playing Settlers of Catan last night. Class in an hour.

After almost a month, I figured out my password. Or rather, my laptop decided to fill it in for me, which is strange because I have never actually logged in on this laptop before. But whatever. Anyways, I'm moving back to school today.

Merry Christmas kids. I am going to sleep now, as I have to be up in 6 hours for Christmas Festivities. I hope everyone has/had a nice Christmas, or a good December 25 if Christmas isn't your thing.

I passed calculus, with a D- which means that I'm done with the required math for my major. However, part of me wants to retake it for the better understanding and hopefully better grade. However, even if I got an A, which I wouldn't, it would only move my GPA up about 0.2, which is a decent amount, but realistically I could improve my GPA much more by taking other classes and keeping my shitty grade. Moral of the story is that I suck at Calculus.
  21. Skull replied to Leoo's topic in Off-Topic
Failed it almost definitely. Looks like I'm taking Calc 2 again.
  22. Skull replied to Leoo's topic in Off-Topic
Calc final in T-minus 25 minutes. All I'm asking for is a D, a D- would be okay even. I just don't want to fail. I'll take another blow to my GPA, I just don't want to have to take Calculus again.

Found out quizzes in one of my classes were worth 30% of my grade. I only took one of them, and as such my grade is a D despite getting an A on the midterm and probably the final after the curve. I'm currently more or less begging my TA to let me do something about it. She's currently considering letting me make up one of the quizzes, which means I'll at least get a C if she does. But this was a class that I was assuming that I would get a B or better in, no problem. Also, @Randox, that was 4 finals over two days. So two each day, not 4 in one.
  24. Skull replied to Leoo's topic in Off-Topic
Finals week. I took four finals already and felt pretty okay about three of them. I'm pretty sure I bombed one, since I got a B in the class and up until the final I had a 100%. So there's that. Would have been really nice to get the A or even a B+, but I [bleep]ed myself over by not going to class at all. I think I probably got an A on one of the other finals and B's on the other two. I only have one final left, which is on Saturday. And it's Calculus. Basically I suck at Calc and my goal is to just pass the class. Which means I have to get about a 55% on the final to get the lowest possible passing grade. Which sounds easy but I got a 45% on the last exam, so it's entirely possible that I won't pass. And I have to get an 85% to get a C-. So realistically it's looking like I'm going to get another D in Calculus, for the third semester in a row. But I don't give a [bleep] as long as I pass, because that means I'm done with Calc, and can start raising my GPA. And if I fail I have to retake it, since it's required for my major. Anyways, outside of that life has been okay. I'm poor as shit and can't afford to buy Christmas presents, but I'm doing what I can. I've been spending a lot of time with friends, not studying, but that's all right. It's bound to happen either way. As I was writing this I found out my final grade for one of my classes, a 93. Not the one I thought I would get an A in, but I'll take it. That means I get an A- in the class which is cool. Makes me wish I had done better on the second exam (80%) because then I could have gotten an A. But yeah, this was my almost-monthly post detailing my life to no one in particular. Talk to you guys again probably in January.

I won't be playing any Runescape, but I'd like to be able to have the option to play more modern games. They don't need to look pretty, just be playable. Realistically, at this point the only game I really have to play is Minecraft, so if it can run that fairly well that would be a nice step in the right direction. I really just don't want my laptop to be outdated from the start, know what I mean? I tend to be someone who uses things as long as possible, so I don't want a laptop I intend to probably keep 5 years to not be able to keep up with what was out when it was new, never mind the advances in technology that come down the line.
