. Arrogant pissant pkers going back to pking instead of boss hunting, a flood of crashers and overall jerk offs came to the DKs when they took away old Wildy/FT, not all pkers mind you... . Boss hunting with close friends then adding up all the loot and splitting in half when done :thumbsup: (back to the days of DKs) . Borrowing and lending stuff to close friends when I or they need help. -- The whole scamming is so overblown, especially with all the warning signs we have these days... You'd have to be either ADHD or extremely naive to get scammed, if the latter then maybe it's a good learning experience. Same with luring. It's hilarious to watch people whine about clues and how "hard" it will be when there are so many damn worlds to choose from. -- I personally may start up a business to help new players become better integrated with Runescape, I'll have them add me and have them do odd resource collecting jobs and pay them accordingly afterwords. The problem is finding people willing to stick to it, most new players tend to have the attention span of a fly.

I miss unids, the system was flawed though because the herb type was determined before they were even clean, this allowed sellers to essential rip off other players by knowingly giving them junk herbs for 1k each. But the hidden gambling concept before that became mainstream was very fun. I started when I was around 12 or 13 years old, playing runescape did help me understand for the first time what it was like to be ripped off/scammed and I'm very thankful for it. Too many parents (like mine for a time) coddle their kids from the evils of the world, not even telling them certain things...

Going to boot camp when I graduate, I know guys in the military have time but I honestly think my activity will be severely cut to the point where it's just not fun to play. Plus I've got a serious girlfriend now (known for 9 years) it's unlikely that I'll continue to play but who knows.

Well with the new prayers there IS much higher demand now. More bots will come so I see prices going down. I don't see many things other than pk gear going up in price when wilderness/free trade comes back. At least when you compare the so-called "street prices" of many current items, which are artificially inflated anyway.

What's with finding a partner to do some dag kings with? 5 or so months ago the boss hunter forum on the RS forums was booming and I could find a team within 20 minutes... What happened? And how could I go about finding a partner? FYI, I have no RS friends.

If you are against wilderness specific worlds, you ARE immature. There's no denying that. What is a legitimate pker? Since when should you define what is right an wrong in a fantasy game? Some people may want to take an "evil" approach to their playing style, others take a more honorable approach. Surely you knew about it being an older player? Clans like Noobs Inc would come and crash, they would fight in crap gear and literally played to piss others off. Were they immature? Maybe by your standards, but I think it added the element of evil and danger in the world of rs, especially in the clan world. So what did clans do? They formed alliances and would call on their allies to help "Anti-Crash"; and before you ask, yes... I was a victim to many of their crashes when I was in the clan world. Let's face it, "evil" adds a lot to the fantasy. Strolling along the supposed "dangerous" wilderness these days is a freaking joke, long ago I would have to bank all my stuff and even then still sweat that some guy would kill me for my clue even with only my D'hide and dragon dagger. These days... My god I bring half my bank with me, thousands of runes, my best armor and gear, 100ks of bird scrolls... All these things, why? because I'm too lazy to bank all that stuff knowing I'm not going to face any danger. I apologized if you have to keep repeating yourself, I have not followed many of your posts. --

No, it just means that people from all over America and even Europe have similar tastes in what they like in RS.

Most RWT (gold sellers) I don't think will risk adding a bunch of people to sell gold. They'll find other ways to trade... Jagex just patched a method that allowed you to trade (transfer) anywhere between 1mil-250mil an hour... They'll find a way.

I'm calling it. Either new skill, or fairy update. If I'm wrong I'll shoot myself in the foot.

Jagex should lock every account that make such threats... Fake, real, or just crying out for help. I doubt they can call the police for EVERYONE, so the next best thing would be to alert the parents (proof of credit card to unlock). Seriously, even if the kid doesn't do it, who's to say he won't one day?

I applaud their efforts to get more involved in the RS community... It looks good, but I hope that they aren't sacrificing too many resources for this, I would prefer they work more towards a larger map (more content), maybe even high-end graphics.
