  1. Thanks for the spam. You do realize your self righteous post had just as much relevancy as his. I think this guy is definetly a "hero" for doing what he did, but throughout history, for every 1 guy who is celebrated as a hero their is probably 5 guys who have done something as great or greater. I just think their is so many untold heroes combined with all the heroes we celebrate to name anybody "greatest."
  2. Between now and my death bed I plan on writing an 82,000 word speech that I hope to read. So if everything goes according to plan I'll be reading that.
  3. I think it's going to be one of those movies that everybody loves simply because it pulls their emotional strings and one that I won't like because it will be extremely boring.
  4. If a person is bit by a dog, usually they're going to be hesitant of dogs in the future until they're certain of whether or not that particular dog will bite them. It's simply a defensive reaction. Yes, having a preconceived negative viewpoint of a person due to negative experiences with members of a related group is discrimination. Again however, I think that is simply a defensive reaction and is healthy. But if a person is unwilling to change their negative view of that person after that person proves himself to be different from what was originally expected, then I believe that is when discrimination becomes unhealthy and unjustifiable.
  5. People used to make fun of me for having red hair but now I have this manly beard as a defense mechanism. Then: "I'd rather be dead than red on the head" Now: "Woh, beard"
  6. Actually they either precut themselves in advance so they have very thin, weak scars that will open on contact or they cut themselves quickly using a razor blade they have taped somewhere. Face it, the blood is real.
  7. Can someone please explain how the searching function works to me? I searched for threads about emo and the last thread I found was about 7 months ago but judging from previous posts there must have been topics before that.
  8. Please don't bump old posts! He didn't. And it was still around the top of the second page-not exactly ancient.
  9. See what happens when you guys post pictures of hot French news anchors; you get kids minds in the gutters.
  10. I'm probably a little bit below average to around average, but since I look like a monkey it's all good.
  11. I said something along the lines of that. I can understand toilet water being cleaner if the restuarant uses some sort of sanitizing solution in the toilet water. My bad, didn't know it was already posted. I bow to your quick posting ability. Besides that, it's a flukie experiment by a 7th grader that doesn't really prove anything and really shouldn't have been made into such a big deal.
  12. This is just a guess but...don't the toilets in the restraunts have cleaning chemicals in them to make them sanitary and these chemicals would eat your stomach and make you vomit your guts out if you drank it, yet they don't put them in the water used for ice due to the previous mentioned reason, therefore leading to the conclusion that the toilet water maybe "cleaner" yet entirely unfit for drinking? Just wondering.
  13. I refuse to recognize the authority you are indirectly claiming to have in regards to what is socially acceptable for kids to do during their spring break. That means, why shouldn't they do what they like?
  14. I believe humans capacity for progress and advancement makes them the most advanced species on Earth.
  15. Didn't Peter walk on the water too? And then he fell? If it was a layer of ice how come Peter fell and Jesus didn't?
  16. Which are? Which are what? Do you want reliable sources to back up whether or not the original story actually happened-like was there actually a 7th grader named Jasmine Roberts who performed an experiment with ice from restraunts? Or are you asking something else? If the former then: http://www.tampabays10.com/news/news.aspx?storyid=25442 http://abcnews.go.com/GMA/OnCall/story? ... 825&page=1 http://www.tbo.com/news/metro/MGBQOZP9MJE.html http://www.slashfood.com/2006/02/15/fas ... -machines/ http://cnn.netscape.cnn.com/news/packag ... e/dirtyice http://tonyrogers.com/humor/fastfood_ice.htm http://www.usatoday.com/news/health/200 ... test_x.htm http://www.azcentral.com/offbeat/articl ... ce-ON.html http://www.theepochtimes.com/news/6-2-21/38460.html http://www.kare11.com/news/cooler_artic ... yid=121340 http://www.usrecallnews.com/2006/02/toi ... -food.html If you're asking for sources to prove something else, I apologize.
  17. I wouldn't mind getting rid of those major, tragic, cry in the corner like a little girl problems.
  18. I would've made you pay me to unban you.
  19. What's to stop you from torturing your dog? If hurting animals makes a person happy, then trying to gain happiness would be there reason. Every animal/human has the right to do whatever it wants to whoever it wants. In return the animal/human acted upon has the right to impose a form of punishment/reward in return. Every creature has the same rights, it's just humans are able to take advantage of them more effectively.
  20. The "behind-the-scene" story of wrestling is actually pretty sad. Obviously the widespread steroid use but a lot of wrestlers take painkillers to fight the pain of their injuries so they can wrestle 4-5 nights a week then they take uppers so their alert enough to wrestle and a lot of them end up dieing young. Too bad their dieing for such a lame sport.
  21. Nope, I find it depressing too... And I dont want to die by a cosmic cloud or a Supernova explosion or anyother thing that isint natural death... :( ~komodo Supernovas, death, end of the world, no wisdom teeth...Turning into fish people looks pretty good now doesn't it?
  22. This time of year is a pain for us in Augusta. Traffic, Yankee tourists lining our streets with lawnchairs and signs begging for someone to sell them badges, Yankee tourists everywhere else, etc.
  23. But toilet water isn't too bad once you get used to it. So it doesn't really matter anyways.
  24. I also enjoyed Mr. Roger's Neighborhood.
