  3. maybe that is what is wrong with it. the apprehension you are feeling is not a result of a good deal, it's the result of an aeons old hex placed upon the item by the ichorkings of the texan undercity that causes its owner extremem anxiety??? just a thought

  7. If you're implying that a lot of PS4 releases get a PC release too...so do xbox games. Makes no sense to compare PC to either console in that regard. >_>'' i was mostly joking but from the looks of it not really. zoo tycoon i guess is the only xbox exclusive that's on the pc, compared to 5 ps4 ones. though ps4 definitely looks to have the better exclusives.

was he a priest or something? that's the only reason i could think he'd have a cassette, idk how he managed to forget it tho
  12. morrowind - so much weirder than other TES games (in a good way). very irritating game to play, despite the interesting setting. i can definitely see why i didn't get far when i first bought it like 7 years ago. saint's row the third - i got about halfway through playing co-op a year ago or so, and i decided to give it another bash since i have a better computer. it's fun as hell even in singleplayer, and i don't think i've ever found myself standing in a safehouse or whatever thinking "man i'm bored there's nothing to do". i'm feeling like i might even 100% it, which will make it the first game i've 100%ed since... san andreas, i think? it's definitely cemented my decision to buy saint's row IV, once i find out a way to get the uncensored version.

  15. start slowly weakening the roof of your apartment/the floor in any way you can think of, so that one day he eventually falls through your roof, giving you the upper hand in any altercations that happen to take place. any claims he makes you can rebuke with a simple "well you invaded my home through my roof how can we trust the word of someone who engages in the same blitzkrieg tactics nazi gerrmany was famed for???"

  17. atm i'm watching breaking bad as it comes out, the thick of it when i can stomach an episode, and orange is the new black is waiting for when i'm done w/those two. other tv shows that are a mere glint in my eye atm are shit like the corner, six feet under, spartacus, 30 rock (i found out a couple days ago that it's actually not that sitcom that had ashton kutcher in it), sealab 2021, the venture bros, veep, always sunny, louie, justified, homeland, mr show, tim and eric, house of cards, frisky dingo, oz and awake.

volunteered to hand out htv cards for the greens. don't think it will help much where i live but if i change a few minds i'll be pretty pleased. i also put up a dog fence so my dog can run about w/out needing much supervision. also buzz cut my hair while a bit out of it and cut a patch in without a guard, meaning i had to do the entirety really short. kind of annoying but i'll live. also seattle was cool and fun and i met some cool and fun people.

yeah, i feel republic city will be one of the few places in the avatar world to be so advanced because it's the only place (i think) in the world where there are no restrictions based on nationality. this in turn prompted a kind of renaissance where all the outcasts and clever people of avatar land flocked there because that's the hip place to be. i kind of hope that if they do venture out into the world beyond republic city, the benders they encounter are a bunch more powerful than them. it would kinda make thematic sense w/spirituality v technology, ie the more technology advanced, the more careful benders had to be to avoid tearing up gas lines, busting water pipes, burning down a block of houses, etc. eventually republic city benders kinda subconsciously repressed their bending skills to avoid disasters and junk. a melting pot city type area also gives a lot more storytelling opportunity as opposed to a travelling fantasy thing that avatar had. they're both good, but in different ways. this is all pretty much conjecture based on what i think would be cool btw, just a disclaimer.
  20. snuff, by terry pratchett. you can definitely feel his illness affecting him thru the way he writes. dialogue is v. samey and overly verbose, i'm guessing this is a result of him dictating his newer books instead of writing them, as well as prob less massive editing from his editors. i remember an interview w/him from ages ago where he said his method was "write lots, edit more" to paraphrase and it's p. visible here. it's still good, a rough gem compared to the piles of goat shit that comprises 90% of fantasy novels. this is also yr daily reminder that alzheimers sucks, yo also read the wise man's fear, by patrick rothfuss. real good. mad as heck cuz i hate having to wait for new books in series i enjoy.
  21. my own blood, strained through a slice of lemon
  22. You can get Steam keys for all but Dead Space 3, so it's not too bad. My tiny tiny urge to play Dead Space 3 is vastly outstripped by my desire to not have Origin on my computer, though.
