Calling all camera enthusiasts!!
I've looked at cameras a few months ago and it seems the lowest you can get for a compact videocamera is around 300 USD =\ I sort of consider that to be hefty on the wallet :P

Best way to fall asleep?
Well who sleeps with lights on brightest anyways? :P I'm sure even a dim setting might be enough to trick the brain into thinking it's still a little early :P

Best way to fall asleep?
Exercise during the day might help, but make sure you don't do anything active an hour before you go to sleep. That just gets you overly alert. Don't stare at any screens an hour before you want to go to bed either. Other than that, just anything calming or restful should help segway you into a good sleep. Goodnight, and see you again most likely when you have your next self-help type question. :P Not sure you should be doing that either before you go to sleep :P segue

An interesting book would probably be better. I mean... when you're tired, you're tired ;)

New song put up I was looking for some easy-ish tabs and found You're Beautiful by James Blunt... it took me all of 3 minutes to get them down pat >.> (not sure about the timing, I might have to find the song somewhere... if someone has heard it please tell me if I'm going too fast or too slow)

Best way to fall asleep?
Best idea, and it makes you a tad smarter in the process :P Read for about 30 minutes before bed or as long as you can stand before you start randomly skipping lines and you'll be ready to get some shuteye!

mp3 player
Paying more isnt always practical even though it's more economical. Case in point: bulk purchases... sure you may get those $200 processors for say... $150, but did you really need to spend $700,000?

Standardized Testing - What do you think?
Yes, this topic is a bit old, but I didn't want to make a new one Standardized tests truly are tricky, I got my ACT results back today and I did horribly on some of my best subjects (27 on math :x ) and the best on my mediocre subjects o.o

What are your pet peeves?
Mine would be Americans' spelling. I'm going to hit someone next time I see a post about how someone lost "theyre" account. It's your first and probably only language, learn to speak (and write) it properly unless you want to look like an idiot. Another one is elderly people who complain about EVERYTHING. Death really is a redemption if life's as hard as they make it to be. And British spelling can be equally as bad ;)

650 watts power supply is really overkill also The recommended power supply for a 7800GT SLI system is a mere 550w

My wonderful education
I do use my time to teach me things I don't know (should be learning? Not sure about that though since this class is very very basic). Just as a note to everyone: I'm not actually complaining - I just thought it was funny that I got away with writing things like that. :P Any time I tried to learn something new and look ahead in the book in Computer Literacy my teacher would threaten to kick me off of the computers for the rest of the year if I wasn't doing something "approved".....which about the only thing approved was the Ainsworth keyboard program "Ummm...Mr. Rushin? Can I skip this keyboarding lesson since I type about 20 words a minute faster than you?" Don't know if any of you are familiar with Ainsworth, but I did about 700 drills that year >.< My max was a hearty 101 wpm :D! (and for those that don't know Ainsworth, the drills are just random characters... nothing that you can memorize and tap out a 150+wpm on ;) )

My wonderful education
In computer lit it was basically MS Office 101 :P We learned how to copy and paste! woot! I didn't bother to take the "web design" this year, knowing that it's only a course in Frontpage... and not very good at that (On the school website we have 1mb images that are resized by your browser.... into an itty bitty thumbnail that takes a while to load =\

Wellll, you really can't uninstall IE :P

Ok, So I'm Shopping for a Camera Now...
Another thing you'll want to realize is that the Digital Rebel will take several different sizes of pictures... unless you have a tripod you'll probably want it set on the smallest size (but with the 'Fine' quality). Even then pictures can come around at 1-3mb each when pulling them off the camera. By running them through photoshop (a version of elements should come with it) using the batch processor and setting them to JPG High Quality you should be able to get 3-500kb an image. That's just one thing you have to realize about having more mp, it just means it's easier to get a blurry shot :)

How do i "Google Bomb"
Don't spam the results of Google, I prefer that it keeps relevant sites up there and not 10 minute Frontpage jobs.....
