well its just about the same with mining iron in the dwarven mines. Whenever i go mining there and i get almost all the iron, the lower levels shout: thats my rock. but they never ask politely if they can have some iron too.

I used to be confused about the whole law rune thingy. And when I became member, I was confused why alot of people were standing at the RFD chest in lumby basement. Now I stand there alot too and whenever someone asks why we are standing there, I like to say its a very secret club meeting :P

Another option could be that really good stakers made lots of cash legally by winning alot of stakes, and then sold the cash they made for real money. Just speculating thb.
