Why are mole claws more expensive than mole skins?
You probably meant "worth less" so I'll cut you some slack. They both trade in overlapping price ranges around the 9K mark. I'd chalk the difference up to normal market fluctuations. Oddly enough, you can occasionally get claws from molanisks & experiment #2s as well.

An Intelligent Perspective On Botters
MTK maples gave more people cheap FM than bots ever did. Cheap prayer from dragon bones? What are you smoking? But I agree with the general point you are trying to make, even if you mangled the specifics. Botting is not some noble pursuit that keeps prices down for the scaper. It's cheating that exploits imbalanced supply/demand in the game for the purpose of hoarding in-game wealth. It used to be for acquiring real-world wealth, though I think those holes have been mostly plugged.

Vuvuzelas in runescape ?
- Blizzard to require real names for forums
I think it would be a great thing if Jagex required real names on forum posts - RSOF could use some measure of accountability. If you are embarrassed by the things you say there, perhaps some accountability will make you think twice before posting there. I would not want my real name linked to my in-game player name, though. There's too much potential for harassment & abuse.- Vuvuzelas in runescape ?

- Stop referring to dungeoneering as "Dung!"
If Jagex was unhappy with the Dung moniker, they'd (1) censor it or (2) give the minigame a different name.- Post all RS Screenshots, Videos, and Sounds here!
Sorry if this is old news. This is only the 2nd time I've seen a dung cape, and it's on a bloody lvl-3 - ranked #174 no less.- Finding the weight of an object.

I hate Tip.It's platinum status. It reminds me of a time when administrators here had a spine and were willing to criticize Jagex for their counter-productive policies. Nothing personal, Cowman, I understand your position, it just pisses me off that Jagex is treating fan sites exactly as they have treated their community, which is the same way I see Apple talking to its customers, which is the same way I see civil servants talking to the [developmentally delayed]ed, like they always know what is best for us, and we're so absolutely stupid that if it weren't for Jagex we'd be in danger of swallowing our own tongues, or choking to death while chopping wood. Jagex is the adult who feels the need to blend all of our food, put little cushions on the sharp edges of the table, and make us wear a helmet and arm/knee pads when we're walking around outside so we don't hurt ourselves, and despite our lament that we have never fallen to require said helmet or pads, they insist that we wear them or receive a ban, because they love us and it's for our own good. Oh and we're shackled to the bed so we don't fall out when we sleep, and the internet is blocked out altogether because it's a bad place filled with pedophiles and gay porn. I've always said that Tip.It will never reach gold status as long as I am still here, because I am one of Jagex's strongest critics where it really matters. I have no tolerance for the fact that Jagex has, and continues, to treat their community like absolute [cabbage]. They are unapologetic in their hypocrisy, and almost always have absolutely no idea how to approach or communicate with their community. How many times has a Jagex Mod posted on Tip.It? Here are the highlights: Andrew Gower publicly threatening to sue Tip.It after an article questioning their banning practices, and the Jmod who joined to whine because players saw the double standards in Jagex's fan site relation requirements, and that Jagex was continuing their mafia style approach to dealing with the community, where they're not saying that they disapprove of whatever the action is, but if you do it you might just find your knees broken with a baseball bat. I said in another thread that the presence and mechanics of High-Alchemy are a great indicator that Jagex does not, and never will, understand economics. I will extend that and point out that Andrew Gower's open threat to Tip.It was a major clue that Jagex is unable to properly respond to criticism. There are players here who respond to criticism by flaming. Jagex, on the other hand, is like the kid who responds to your rebuttal with "Yea, well, you're a gay." Their player addresses rarely address the point, but generally end up condescending to the community and the people who made the complaint in the first place. They're like the people who get in trouble for saying/posting something racist, and then they turn around and instead of apologizing they say the equivalent of "I'm sorry you morons misread what I said as racist." /rant Welcome to the Nanny State of Gielinor.- Iron Knives

Someone should start the "Tuesday" thread - we need more bifurcation.- Will Jagex reply on Monday?
Personally, I had 8 pair. I still have 8 pair. I'm not hard enough up for coins that I would take the time to alch them. Did I directly benefit? No. But if all the "pundits" are right, my bought-and-paid-for rares are making a sizable leap value. So I indirectly benefited. :-) Plus, while all the screenshot faking, pink boot protesting & forum trolling was going on, I trained agility up 2 levels. The lost time spent in various virtual temper tantrums will have more of an effect on the "economy" than the boots.- Will Jagex reply on Monday?
How do we know they are not lying to cover their asses? You don't. You never will. But if you really distrust the mgmt. that much, I have to wonder why you would want to keep playing. - Blizzard to require real names for forums
