I don't; I tried but couldn't do any damage on them, despite being 94 slayer. I could tolerate making the fire cape a prerequisite for one of the diaries. But having it for multiple diaries (Karamja & Fremennik) is pure Jagex [cabbage]hookery.

Remapping keys may be legal, but you said: which looks damned near like you could stack a bunch of clicks and movements onto your 1 key. I'd be wary.

Not quite common - you will get far more of the other types of bones. But they are more common than monkey skulls. :rolleyes:

I bless/repair graves under most conditions. Explicit exceptions: (1) Penguin hunters in the wild / at ice trolls / other hazardous location, most of whom 3-item and have their kittens or puppies following them (why waste prayer points on you? I might meet a rev on the way out) (2) People who stupidly put themselves at risk - I watched some fool w/ full mith & anti-dragon shield wade into brutal green dragons, despite my advice on the stairs that he was going to get his clock cleaned. I then had to put up with his whining diatribe via chat (You NOOB - that was everything I had - my bank is ruined!!!! Typical high-level!). But most people will get blessed if I have prayer points to spare.

I did a lot of that - I had 419 long bones & 427 curved ones. It would have been 1,589,250 XP with no multiplier. I got all the curved ones done in the first 30 minutes. I resold all the other bones to recoup part of the costs (the surge in wyvern bone prices helped lessen my losses, but I still did lose money).

Yay :^_^: FINALLY I got something worthwhile from Dung. 2.7x reset - 11 hour elevated bonus. I take back every bad thing I ever said about BXPW. :wink:

I just have to gloat... Glad I didn't listen to all the naysayers telling me curved & long bones weren't bonus-eligible. EDIT - Final tally for Barlak's bones: 4,207,725 - made it way past lvl 93. 9 Hours, 5 mins left for thieving.

And to all you naysayers, Barlak's bones are indeed bonus candy - 170,100 per sweet load of curved bones. The frame graphic didn’t change, but read your scrollbox.

I have a full set in my POH and a full set in my bank. But I do not recall doing any of that dropping routine (I was doing the event for talon beast charms). Perhaps it was stowing the original in the POH that did it.

I realize I am late to the party... I see no one mentioned cider(m). If you could somehow get to 72, it would be enough to boost you to 75.

I just went and bought a few blank talismen, but it seems they are untradable. I believe thieving the shop can only get you runes. According to the Monkey Madness quest guide:

I agree with you in principle. However, a chicken every 1.5 seconds is 40 chickens a minute (not 90), 2400 chickens an hour. That works out to 2400 bones @ 4.5 per = 10800 prayer xp per hour, right? The problem with the item is the limited opportunities for use. When I go stake out Hillies for Champion scrolls, I figure I can kill 4 or 5 a minute (conservatively, mostly held back by respawn time). Let's say that's 250 bones, or 3750 prayer xp/hr. That gets a little bit better at jogres (5625 xp/hr). Camping at baby blacks (for effigies) is a possibility; but I can't give a reasonable guess as to xp/hr. Three a minute would come out to 5400 xp/hr. Any bones more higher leveled than this I would sell or use on my gilded. Now, if bones suddenly got cheap and it became more economically worthwhile to use the crusher at dragons and such, then maybe the price would be justified. One other possibility would be to make the bonecrusher help out with shade burning - say you get your keys automagically with the bc in your pack instead of the convoluted log oiling / altar burning routine. This, combined with the xp rates for shades, would make the crusher more worthwhile and breathe a little life back into an older area.

Since we're going with an autodraft, you might want to build an exclusion list to cull out people who are injured. Here's a handy reference at CBS Sports. You probably wouldn't have to worry about anyone ranked worse than 300 or so with a 10 player league. And I excluded that rat bastard prima donna Bret Favre on general princple. :razz:

Hear, hear! But Jagex is going to do what the tweener masses want for their $5 monthly stipend. We are at that state in Runescape where the masses want largess and Jagex is the happy enabler.

I plan to get one and use it camping for Challenge Scrolls. That way, at least I'll get *something* from camping for Challenge Scrolls. I'd never use it 100% at slayer because (1) I save dragon bones for my gilded and (2) not everything drops bones.
