Well the slayer skill is based on killing specific monsters given by slayer masters as assingments and as long as jagex doesn't add "Players" to the slayer task list, you won't be able to get xp from PKing.

If i wasn't a member i wouldn't even play the game. F2P is really boring and the only thing that makes rs worth playing is P2P.

I remember doing both of the quests on the day they came out and imo neither one was hard :/
