  4. Anyone experiment with karaoke tracks? Write your own music and make your own recordings? I wanna see them. I myself am an aspiring frontman and would like to collaborate with ideas and skills with you guys because I'm not the best. XD Anyways, the only two good recordings are fresh ones that I just put together last week and just got around to putting them up. One is by Tupac, a song called Changes. Don't get the message twisted, it's about peace. :) Changes-Tupac Next is a song that I'm sure most of you who have graduated 8th grade have heard. I can tell you, my 8th grade year, I heard that song played at a school event every month. Still it's a popular song nontheless. Good Riddance (Time of Your Life) - Greenday Go!
  5. It's not supposed to rhyme actually, where it does is coincidence. I go for meaning rather than rhyming.

  7. The Tell-Tale Stoplight By Twist of Fate (Or Scourge, to you guys) *For my friend, Jose, who gave me both the inspiration and the experience to write this* As I walked through the untamed ferns and shrubbery of interstate 46 towards the 7/11, I gazed down one of the unpopulated side streets of town to keep myself entertained. It was around 2 in the morning but hey, I needed something to drink and something to do. I looked at the stoplight at one of the entrance ramps and remembered what my mother had frequently told me to impress me as a child. "Even at night," she said "the stoplights still did their work. When I was your age, they flashed orange at around 11 at night." Now, a late teenager trying to keep my thoughts entertained on the empty streets of Jersey, I compared it to a heartbeat. You can be sleeping, hospitalized, in distress, or playing a sport and the heart always does what it's supposed to. It saves your life. Just like a stoplight. Difference is, the heart is dynamic. It reacts to both your emotions and your physical condition. However, stoplights illuminate what goes down. They stand as sort of a lighthouse to what goes on under them. Say you get into an accident on a poorly known intersection. Say you're lost and ask someone for directions. Say its late at night, where I was. No visible road signs. Just remember which light you're on and it's your pathmark to salvation. I had that experience with a former friend of mine. Not tonight. Now back to where I'm going since collecting my thoughts for this story have pretty much led me down the opposite direction, there were no stoplights. I turn back and walk towards the 7/11 which has lights and neon signs that pretty much illuminated the entire parking lot of the shopping center. The thing I like about 24 hours stores is, no one looks at you funny. You aren't judged for what age you are and how late your out, or for what you buy. I went to the freezers in the back for 2 monster energy drinks and that new flavor of 5 gum. What I never understood was, all of the flavors have "NEW!" labeled on the packages. I swear, I never know what's actually new. I just know what I haven't had yet. I grab my stuff, put it on the counter. "$4.56.", said the clerk. "Thanks." I said as I take the change of .46 cents and put it in the charity container for poor children. That's another thing I didn't quite understand. This might seem a little cynical, but I don't believe people actually care about what their change is going towards. I think that people see it as a sort of convenience to get rid of their unwanted annoying change. Well, at least that's what I do. But I guess those children who are less fortunate who are actually getting helped will thank me in their minds. That's what gives me just a little bit of faith. Kind of like an anonymous good Samaritan thing. As I walked home on the same trail as before, I passed "Charley's bar". I saw a woman and her husband smoking outside and didn't think much of it. I walked pass and the woman says "Hello. You get home safe, alright?" "Thank you, I will.", I responded. "Oh, and Happy Fourth of July.", she said. "Thanks, you too!" I replied. Now that's what REALLY gave me hope. A lot of people say "A picture paints a thousand words". I think that a conversation like that with a total stranger means more. I continued down the hill and then up another, my street. I walked inside, cracked open one of my monsters and put the other one in the fridge. I got online and my friend who I've never seen in person talked to me. We talked about school, mainly sports we were doing next year. He was a fighter, into wrestling. A former WWE addict who moved on to UFC and all that. His name was Andrew, also a street fighter. He started talking to me about all of these fights that he had gotten in to. To you he might sound like a thug, but he isn't. He has a pretty good outlook on his career as a professional fighter. Believe me, he has a much brighter future going than I do. If it makes him happy, hey more power to him. We also had Tae Kwon Do status. Of course, Andrew had it all going for him. He was on top, well versed and well known in submissions and grapples. Eventually, I did grow tired of all this and decided to end the conversation. A bit full of himself after a while. I finished my monster and then completely crashed on the air mattress in the basement living room I called a bed at the time. I woke up and talked to Andrew again. "Hey, you wanna see me fight at the AMC this weekend?" "Sure", I said. "I'll bring a few friends you knew from our school." "That's great, I'm fighting this Russian guy. Last fight I got in 30 hits, 3 of them head shots. I got him to the ground and got him into a guillotine. Woulda passed out if I didn't let go." "Haha, congrats bro", I replied. "Well I'm gonna go out now, hit me up later." Of course I wasn't going out, but I was going to the fight. The AMC theater was at an intersection. The stoplight there was famous for it's lengthy red lights and exponentially short green lights. I swear, the yellow lights took almost more time than green. It's said that on average, a person spends two weeks of their life at a red light. Whenever I look at that stoplight, I know it's gotta be more. I cracked open the other monster, and asked a few friends that me and Andrew both knew from the old days to come to the fight. They all did since there was pretty much nothing going on that weekend. Next day, the day of the fight. I hadn't talked to Andrew since. I got in my car and picked up my friend and we started for the theater. Lucky for me, there was traffic. I got caught at the theater stoplight twice. I saw about 30 people there all ready to see some blood. It was a big hangout once but the cops kept coming every weekend since nobody there was seeing a movie. The staff didn't seem to mind this time because they didn't realize there was going to be a fight. Most likely Andrew's last. The Russian kid, who was called "Church", showed up. He didn't talk to Andrew and there was no post-fight hostility. Church was a boxer. "Locker Boxing" was what they called it at his school. Basically, you get some sparring gloves from any martial arts store and fight like hell in the locker room. That didn't happen at my school anymore because of some kids who lit a trashcan on fire outside. Now there's a camera at the entrance. My friends and I took a seat on the stone wall on the side. Enough to get a good view but to stay out of the crowd. Both Andrew and Church stood in the center of the circle made by the crowd. I couldn't hear a word of what they were saying. There's always pre-game trash talk, though which I find to be very cliche and quite lame. Then the fight started. They had agreed on no knees and no kicks. Head shots were legal. Church was a dirty fighter. Andrew got pushed into a "No parking anytime" sign and the side of his head got cut pretty badly. He didn't freak out though, even though as far as he knew his ear could have been cut off! After the audience saw him get pretty much wrecked, he felt his ear for blood. Church stopped which gave Andrew the perfect opportunity to get church into a reverse arm bar which then turned into a triangle choke. Church refused to tap. It was the guillotine all over again. Out of desperation, Church pulled brass knuckles out of his side jeans pocket and nailed Andrew on his wounded ear. He kind of just passed out. Church didn't realize it so he put Andrew into an ankle lock that damn near could have snapped his achillies. The crowd broke it up and by now the police were arriving. As the action continued and Church was gasping for air covered in sweat and a bit of Andrew's blood, he sort of transformed. Really, he was freaking out. The police shouted questions to the crowd and shouted "Ok break it up!" Normal cop cliches but what else would they say in this type of excitement? By this point, everyone was freaking out. Even my friends and I. We were thinking of just bailing, which eventually we did. We crossed the street to a Chinese restaurant and made it look like we were coming out. Next, an ambulance came and Church was arrested. Andrew was still motionless. He was still alive, don't worry, but the scene was just ugly. A whole new experience for us. We walked home talking about what just went on. I can't really tell you what happened to Andrew after that. I just know that he was still alive. I began questioning what would become of his fighting career after this. He is a great fighter when it comes to playing it clean, but I know this has never happened to him before. For now, I can just hope his stoplight, his pulse won't flash the yellow caution that my mother had explained to me early in life.
  8. Taker25700: 99 Construction On May 31st, 2006 a new skill was released. This skill was called Construction. Only a week later, it was maxed out by a player. Taker didn't get that much of a break. However, on May 30th, 2009 three years later, the goal that has been going on for a little over a year will finally come to an end. Thirteen months of hard work, three 99 skills, millions lost and millions gained. Some of you will be thinking of what I've been doing for the past year and saying, "Was it really worth it?" Yes, yes it was. Every amount of experience, every coin gained. Time to pay the Questions, anyone?

  11. A Mercenary Violence for profit That was a mercenary The job was simple One strike on a man No regrets and no remorse That was how they lived The angry mourners Stricken with a bad kebab They needed revenge A guard was assigned The target was all too weak The wise old man's fault This guard had set out Vengeance on spoiled kebabs Their tainted glory A knock on the door "Who is it?" He answered A crossbow at aim The shot was fired The old man fell to the ground his job was finished The man then stood up A small box protected him The mourner walked off "Well he had good aim" Said the man with a smile "Here, have a kebab" Also available in video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ssszbPiT1s8
  12. Note: It MAY seem a little boring but I'm really running out of things to write about the Ardougne Plague stuff. If you've kept up, I just wrote a huge 3-part story about it. This will probably be my last piece about this because I'm experimenting with new storylines and characters. Just bear with this one please. :) Another thing you have to understand about my writing is everything relates to other stories in the series. The mourner in this story is the same renegade elf that got killed from seren's distress parts 2 and 3. A Day in the Life of a Mourner -This is an entry from the diary of an Ardougne mourner. It was found neatly between two rocks neat the entrance to West Ardougne. The contents of this entry are fully based on experience of the soldier and could possibly lead us to figuring out how exactly the life of a plague mourner is like. The first of October: Morning It was a brisk night, therefore I had slept well. I awoke from my barracks to the sound of new death guards training. It was a Wednesday and I was not scheduled for drills until at least noon. I laid in bed for about 10-15 minutes daydreaming before fully awakening. I got dressed in my mourners outfit to keep the world thinking that the plague exists. Hah, foolish people indeed. A plague causing a multi-color outbreak of sheep? Don't be ridiculous. I figured I'll start work early since I had nothing to do that day. I exited the city with great caution as the door separating east and west Ardougne is very heavy and I slammed myself in it a few times as a newcomer. I guess I wasn't as strong back then, and I'm still not. But I am loyal. To sound as humble as possible, I believe they're somewhat lucky to have hired me. If there is one thing I hate about my job, it is that I was not put on the Prifddinas Death Guard. I mean, essentially it's the same thing as being a mourner but in a different and much nicer location. Ah, the beautiful city of Prifddinas. If only at least the Iorwerth clan was allowed in. That's another thing I hate. I am working for the traitors. The same clan that ran out the other elf clans and locked the city to everyone. But I guess if you're fighting, you're better off on the winning team, eh? The first of October: Noontime Well, I have 10 more minutes until drills start so I better be leaving this diary now. I really hate the stuff we do. It's the same every day. I've become a first class soldier in just a month! I think I deserve to be at least the one commanding the troops. Well, beggars can't be choosers. The first of October: Evening The drills today were actually less rigorous. The spear drills were cut much shorter and the ranged drills didn't involve hitting many small targets. Someone shot his friend in the ear because he thought it was a paper duck! Lesson, do NOT stand to close to the targets and definitely make sure there are no tears in your gas mask. Also, the meanest drill instructor was out today with a massive hangover. Goddess bless the drink! Speaking of which, my favourite ale was served at dinner tonight, along with imported kebabs. Thing is, my mother always said, "Life is like a kebab. You never really know what you're gonna get". Five people actually got food poisoning! We're thinking of filing a hit on the wise old man for this one. I better retire early tonight, there's something in kebabs that always makes me sleepy. Plus, I have an early drill tomorrow. Hope it goes as well as today.
  13. Seren's Distress Part 2-Investigation and Discovery Weeks passed as Ross and the rest of Taverly mourned the death of their beloved explorer, Rainswell. The fact that he'd died was the least of their thought. It was all about how and where. Where exactly was he? How exactly did this happen? Most of all, how did he appear on the doorstep of his house dead? These questions crossed the minds of many citizens of Asgarnia. Another week passed and Ross had had enough. "I promise over the soul of Rainswell that I will uncover this at once!" Ross was a very good explorer, but no expert. He knew he had to speak with the best adventurer in the province, Tenzing. Tenzing is a sherpa. He lives tucked in a rocky path leading to Trollheim and the Death Plateau. He makes a living off selling climbing boots than being a guide. Although making meanial cash, Tenzing gets paid through the delight of giving adventurers passage through new lands. Now back to Ross and his detective work. A short yet rigorous journey, he approached Tenzing's home. "So do you think you can give me any information about Elven geography?" "Not as much as you think, I've only led one expedition to those lands and it was far from a walk in Falador park.", replied Tenzing. "Ok", said Ross. "But can you at least tell me of maybe some way Rainswell may have been killed there? I doubt it could've been a trap, because then he would still be lying dead. It had to involve some sort of Elven magic. A well protected structure perhaps?" Tenzing gazed in awe at his map of Runescape. He looked at Ross frightened. "Oh my, this...this is incredible! There's just no way!" Tenzing was extremely astonished. "I'm not sure I'm 100% certain on this but I believe that Rainswell has actually entered the locked uninhabited city of Prifddinas!" "How is that impressive?", Ross asked. Tenzing explained. "Oh, what a young one you are. It's the city of the 8 Elven clans. When 7 clans left to explore the world and befriend other races, the Iorwerth clan decided to invade the city, clear out all signs of life, and leave the city. No one has stepped inside Prifddinas for thousands of years. No elf, no human. At least until our brave yet somewhat foolish Rainswell stepped in. I'm not sure exactly how he died though. And I'm especially not sure about how he was teleported. I know a man in Falador. He is a seer, you may want to go talk to him. They say the future can sometimes give clues to the past" "Alright, and many thanks friend." Ross left the house and prepared for the quite long and uninteresting walk through gloomy Burthorpe. He decided to retire for the night before seeing the seer in Falador who had been there for political interest. That night, Ross had quite an interesting dream. He was being lifted by a magical purple ring up a tower made of pure crystal. Once on the top, he heard a woman's voice. "Please have no fear...please...I just want...peace...my people....in happiness....my city...my voice and theirs together." He then felt as if he was more conscious and had control of his dreams. Before him then stood over a hundred Iorwerth soldiers with bows pointed towards him. The voice came again. "Do not fear pain, do not fear death, I will save you, you are united with my people". He then hear the snaps of 100 bows and awoke screaming. "Heh, just a dream", he said nervously. The trip to Falador was much easier. If you've ever imagined walking down a country road with the sun shining, bees buzzing, birds flying, on a nice day, that was it. It was definitely a true sign of Guthix's genious. "It's amazing to think a humble god Guthix could create something as beautiful as this", thought Ross. He then arrived at the white stone walls of Falador and walked to the east to the small apartment-type house where the seer resided temporarily. The door opened before Ross could knock. "I know why you're here, lets sit down and I'll tell you what I can" said the seer. He was a surprising sight. He looked almost nothing like a druid. Younger, blonde shoulder length hair, thin and shapen with pointed ears sticking out of his hair hardly covered by his white hood. "So what actually did happen?" asked Ross. "Well", began the seer, "I'm not quite that experienced with Prifddinas seeing as my people -er I mean the seven other elf clans were locked from the city. No one has stepped in the city for thousands of years, you should be very proud of your teacher." "Yes, and I am", Ross replied. The seer continued. "I'm not however surprised that he got in that easilly. It was dawn, the perfect time to sneak in. The morning guards haven't awaked and the night guards' eyes grew heavy with the balmy night air. A simple grapple would do it. Now, I believe the only thing he explored in the city was the only thing that's in there. The Tower of Voices." "And what does such a tower do?" asked Ross. "It is possibly the oldest structure in Gielenor. As old as Prifddinas itself!. It contains an amazing amount of Elven magic. The tower can lift large groups of elves to the top without a command. At the top, the elves can communicate with Seren herself! She used to live in the city among the elves, but was sent out with the Edicts of Guthix." Ross turned pale. "That's amazingly strange" he said. "I remember a dream last night. I was being lifted in a purple ring to the top of a crystal tower. From there I heard words of peace. Then I heard my own death. The sound of battle, the sound of hundreds of arrows flying towards me. Then, the voice told me not to fear". "Why...that could be it!" Exclaimed the seer. Your dream could've been Seren communicating with you far outside the city! A goddess as splendid as her works in mysterious yet sensible ways lad, and I wouldn't doubt it." "Ok so before I leave, he went to the tower, was levitated, heard the voice of Seren herself, was killed by the guards, and Seren put him out of the cold hands of pain?" questioned Ross. "Yes, and in case you haven't noticed already, I am an elf in the Iorwerth clan disguised as a seer for just this. I did not kill your friend because I was not on duty at that time. However, I had heard of this and journied immediately to Falador. I do have some seer skills you know." "Well, thank you very much. You have helped me greatly. This definitely will not be the last time we meet."
  14. Hello everyone! This is a collection of my literary works involving a storyline I'm working on involving the Elven lands. Small summary: The storyline is called "Seren's distress". As most of you may know, Seren is the patron godess of elves and possibly gnomes. Her and her people have been ejected from the city that her elves built from the crystal that Seren herself is made of. And now, a small brave group of adventurers want to figure out WHAT exactly is going on and maybe even try to defeat the Iorwerth clan and gain entrance into the city that's been locked for thousands of years! I don't know what else to say, but enjoy them! I am still working on more parts of the story. Seren' s Distress Part 1: The Tower of Voices In the second age, while Guthix was still shaping the world in his likeness, a very unpeaceful event happened. It's been standing for 12,000 years now. The same sharp shards of crystals made from Seren's own body. The 8 elven clans populating it were peaceful. Although enclosed with the maze forest to the south, sea to the west, and mountains to the north and east, they befriended many races. When the age of the Godwars came, Seren was forced to leave the elves. They adapted, however, by building a large crystal structure. It was named the Tower of Voices and the elves could speak to Seren herself. The structure still stands in the middle of the city today. Rainswell, a fine explorer, had just read that in a book about Elven history that night in his home in Taverly. He was a long admirer of the elves and their tales. He had a longhall of books just about elven and gnome tomes. Out of all those, this one book struck him most. "A city locked away from everyone? And in the very west of the world?" He pondered for a few moments on how remarkable this was. An entire city and it's walls made entirely by a godess' own material and crystal singing. "Why, I certainly must explore this city! Ross! Prepare me my backpack, exploring gear, a lantern, and since the walls seem to be so high, a grapple. I shall get a good night's rest and eat hearty tomorrow. I am going where no creature has been for thousands of years!" "Why that's incredible!" his associate Ross replied. That night, sleep was too peaceful. Rainswell seemed maybe too excited. After all, a fortress would never be without guard. That morning he woke up and ate an extra helping of spiced herbs and tea. That was the diet of most Taverly residents. He left his house east of the town and walked north under the dreaded White Wolf Mountain. This was because during winter, anyone would be welcome due to the harsh impassable weather on the mountain. He walked through the damp dark dwarf-infested pass under the mountain and headed for the posh bright town of the Seers. It was getting late so he took the night off at the village. He's been a long-time friend of sin seer. He went to her to make a confession and she sensed no fear in him the first time he looked at her morbidly disfigured face. She knew he was pure of heart and posed no judgement towards people based on their appearance. Rainswell awoke late that day. He quickly bid farewell to sinseer and left before she could warn him of any danger. He continued through the grassy fields of Hemenster and northern Ardougne. He didn't take a rest in Ardougne even thought he knew he had a long way to go through the underground pass. On his last expedition he'd injured his leg so attempting those rock obstacles would be almost suicide. Also, he felt safer in caves. Through the plague-ridden and broken district known as West Ardougne he walked. He passed poor families bruised and cut laying on the streets. Passing the few houses with doors that remain with marks of plague, the black X. This was far from his first time in villages such as this but every time it gets harder to see. With no clue of what will happen next, he walked into a small inlet with dead trees and walked into the small cave entrance leading to the underground pass. The Underground Pass is most likely one of the most dangerous places in Runescape. After the Iorwerth clan took control of Prifddinas, the pass was put under Iban's control. He was the spiritual son of Zamorak. He was killed by an adventurer who threw a doll of him into the well. Rainswell then continued towards the raised bridge jumping over rocks and walls. Remembering his exploring skills, he skillfully wrapped an arrow in cloth and set it ablaze. He then shot it at the rope holding the bridge and it fell like a rock. He walked across and continued on. Using his clever eye, Rainswell swung across gaps, blocked [bleep]es, and disarmed arrow traps. It took him a few tries to get passed the agility maze before he remembered that he could just picklock a door. He didn't care though, it was a fun challenge. He passed through the small jail cell which contained his biggest regret. Dropping a rock on an innocent beautiful unicorn. In guilt, he moved onward towards the end. Even though the pass was over, this is where his journey really began. The forest of Isfadar was a maze. And a dangerous one at that. Elves are very safe due to their ability to create traps from nature. These however were no match for Rainswell. He avoided leave-covered pitfalls, spring loaded sticks, tripwire poison, and even the dense forests. Luckily for the elves, Rainswell was not out to harm them. "It's amazing to think a humble god Guthix could create something as beautiful as this." Rainswell said as he set up camp near a brightly colored forest near a sparkling river. That night he slept the best in his life. He dreamed about his version of what the city and the artifacts inside it would look like. He awoke feeling the best he's ever felt in his life, as if the forest had rejuvinated him. All the fatigue and bumps from the Underground Pass had mysteriously been taken off him. He used his clever navigation skills by observing which ways the animals walked. This way he could easilly find water. He took out his sextant, chart, and watch to pinpoint the southern entrance to the city. "There seems to be a small camp south of that entrance, perhaps I should try the eastern one." He changed his coordinates and walked stealthily through the Iorwerth clan's camp. The feeling that he shouldn't exactly be there had finally settled in. A few minutes had passed and he was exactly where he'd dreamed of being. Face to face with the semi-oval doors of Prifddinas. He stretched out his hand and touched the crystal wall made out of the material the elf goddess Seren was made of. A rush of energy ran through him as he rubbed the icy cold sharp walls. There was no way to open the doors. They seemed to be frozen shut by a force far more powerful than nature. "Well, I guess that's what this thing is for." said Rainswell. It took him a few tries and a few scares of almost being seen by elf guards but he finally hooked on the walls successfully with the grapple. He slipped a few times but he finally made it over the wall. There was no way to climb down so he braved the 20 foot jump. Recovering for a second, he sat on the wall and absorbed the extreme amount of history that took place in the past 12,000 years. Eight clans lived there, the land was filled with Seren's power. "How upset she must have been to see this happen. Seven groups of her own people exiled from her own creation. Maybe...just maybe I can talk to Seren. If I just find that tower. According to the book, the tower should be in the center." Again, Rainswell used his navigational skills to pinpoint the dead center of the city. He was feeling quite confident with himself. No one in thousands of years has been inside these walls. He was the only adventurer brave enough to try such a quest. Then at last, through the clouds, he saw it. It was nothing short of the tallest structure in Runescape. To his surprise, there was no door on it. To his even bigger surpise, there were no stairs. Just a levitation focus. He stepped on the platform and was brought up on a magical focus. This took about ten minutes to reach the top. The top of the tower had a balcony and a small inside portion with a funnel above it. The tower must have been about five thousand feet in the air, however there was no wind. The view was incredible. You could see for miles, where the sky touched the earth. Then, the most incredible thing happened to Rainsford. He had a feeling like never before. He collapsed in a trance and had the knowledge of every single piece of Elven history. A strange ring appeared around him and he heard a voice, "Please have no fear...please...I just want...peace...my people....in happiness....my city...my voice and theirs together." Rainsford then awoke from this trance and exited the small closed area on the top of the tower. From there, he saw something that horrified him. The city's walls were surrounded by Elf guards from the Iorwerth clan with crystal bows armed facing towards him. "Do not fear pain, do not fear death, I will save you, you are united with my people", said the voice from the tower again. Then, about 100 crystal arrows fired towards him. None missed. His body then vanished from the tower and appeared in front of his house in Taverly. He was still however still dead. Ross found him the next morning. Nothing showed how he died. All 100 wounds had been miraculously sealed. He was speechless. Since Rainswell was quite a celebrity in the Catherby/Burthorpe/Taverly area, he was brought by cart to the heros guild and cremated on a pyre. 1/4th of his ashes were then thrown into the Fountain of Heros. His spirit would forever be within the glory amulets that many other exploreres wear. Exactly how he'd want to be remembered. No one knew about his experiences in Prifddinas. No one knew that he was the first human who ever talked to the godess, Seren. No one knew that Seren was in great trouble.
  15. Hello and welcome back everyone to Taker's log to another one of his crazy schemed roads to a skill cape! Table of contents I. Introduction II. Tutorial of my plan III. The Methods IV. The Phases V. Runecrafting VI. Fishing VII. Woodcutting VIII. Hunter IX. Clue rewards X. Finishing statements and questions XI. Signatures and pictures Introduction In chat you may have heard me talking about my "Phase" method and I'm sure if you're reading this now you may want to know what it is. Now, I know everytime someone hears someone's going for 99 construction, they say "Omg noob u dunt have teh muny 2 do it lul!" Weeeell I have a plan. It's not worked out from 54-99 but it's going well so far. "O BUT DUZNT 99 CON COST LIKE 2000 MIL!?!?!? LOL!" No, for me with my method of oak planks making flatpacks I'll only need 90m. I am however going for 100m. I won't have it all at once, however. Just so you understand a bit more of what I'm talking about, here's a tutorial. Tutorial of my plan This plan involves Phases including skill goals. For example, if I wanted 92 woodcutting from my 87 then I would make Woodcutting phase 1 87-90 Woodcutting phase 2 90-92 I have a planned out calculated log myself on how many yews I would need and how much I would get at the current market price. Currently, yews are doing good on the market so that would be good for me. Now that you've seen this tutorial of my setup, lets see what I've been using so far The Methods [*:3u73tdek]Cash= 59m [*:3u73tdek]Raw Monkfish=8.5k out of 8.5k [*:3u73tdek]Law runes= 8.5k out of 10k [*:3u73tdek]Yew logs= 8.5k out of 10kI'll tell you about my goals and phases for each skill right now The Phases I have already started some phases and I won't start phase two of anything unless phase two of everything is done. For example, I won't start fishing phase 2 if woodcutting phase 1 isn't done or started. This is good for organization. The skills I'm mainly focusing on are [*:3u73tdek]Fishing [*:3u73tdek]Hunter [*:3u73tdek]Mining [*:3u73tdek]Runecrafting [*:3u73tdek]WoodcuttingI'm also experimenting with merchanting on the side but that's a bit unsteady so I'm not putting that in now. It's coming soon. This is what the phases involve. I'm putting this up in the order I've done and plan on doing. If I cross it out, it's done. Runecrafting [*:3u73tdek]Runecrafting phase 1 [*:3u73tdek]Crafting natures from 52-54 runecrafting [*:3u73tdek]Runecrafting phase 2 [*:3u73tdek]Crafting laws from 54-60 runecrafting [*:3u73tdek]Runecrafting phase 3 [*:3u73tdek]Crafting laws from 60-65 runecrafting [*:3u73tdek]Runecrafting phase 4 [*:3u73tdek]Crafting deaths from 65-70 runecraftingI'll be crafting 18k laws til 65 rc where I will switch to deaths. Fishing [*:3u73tdek]Fishing phase 1 [*:3u73tdek]Fish monkfish from 81-85 fishing [*:3u73tdek]Fishing phase 2 [*:3u73tdek]Fish monkfish from 85-90 fishing I need 17k monkfish from 85-90 which at the current market price would get me about 6.5m Unfortunately the monkfish price dropped so I didn't sell my 8.5k from phase 1 but once the monkfish price raises more I'll sell them. Woodcutting [*:3u73tdek]Woodcutting phase 1 [*:3u73tdek]Cut yews from 86-90 woodcutting [*:3u73tdek]Woodcutting phase 2 [*:3u73tdek]Cut yews from 90-99 woodcutting Hunter This is my goal right now and it'll involve trapping red chinchompas. Currently 85 hunter. Clue rewards This was from a hellhound from a slayer task. black d hide body, 2 robin hood hats!, guthix platebody, rune dagger Finishing statements and questions Why get 99 construction? I'm getting 99 construction because I think it's a very rewarding skill even though expensive. It's also one of the least common capes. I didn't want to go for a common cape because well everyone sees them. I've only seen about 3 construction capers since the skill capes came out. Won't market price changes get in the way? Yes, and it happened once with the monkfish so instead of selling, I went with another goal before selling them. I'm not going to go in depth because a drop emergency will happen almost overnight so when it happens I'll post an update here. Is this your full plan of getting 99 construction? No, it's not even half of it. Between goals I've been doing my math and reading forums and tips looking for fast and efficient ways to get the money or tips to improve how I'm doing now. When did you first want 99 construction? Only since the first day it came out almost two years ago... I haven't been working on it since, however because I was in doubt of myself getting money for it. At the time I wasn't even a member. It was the skill that made me become a member, though. It was probably the best ever new skill for me and it still is. I don't care if you call it a waste of money because it isn't for me. Whether construction is a waste of money is an opinion. If you want a really nice house and a rewarding cape then go for it, it's not a waste of money then. If you don't want that stuff, it will be. What advice can you give me as a person going for 99 construction? My advice is to watch the market carefully even if you aren't a merchant. Have fun doing what you're doing to get it and have fun. Play for fun, take regular breaks, stay healthy socially, physically, and mentally, and don't spend on things you don't need and don't sell what you do need. Do you accept suggestions from me as a poster in your thread? Well of course. I'm not a master of Runescape and I don't know every secret in the book so I'm always open to suggestions. So you accept signitures that I make? Yes and if anyone else uses them I'll make sure they thank you in their signiature Signatures and pictures [img=http://i113.photobucket.com/albums/n217/amp_023/99con.jpg] [img=http://img29.picoodle.com/img/img29/4/7/23/f_takerm_31e558b.png] [img=http://i303.photobucket.com/albums/nn140/Alexger/takerssigconstruction.png] I'll edit the title when there's updates, Thanks for reading everyone!
