  1. I would also definately suggest you consider whether you intend to play p2p on this character. Because looking at your stats from now on things will start to take some time to level on f2p. If you do believe you intend to get p2p at some point in time this would be a great time to take it up because it will save you a lot of time later. However, if you do not intend to join up to p2p I would suggest you continue to work on your combat skills, these are great money makers in f2p, and help fund other expensive skills that are not as easy to level in f2p as they are in p2p. Good luck!
  2. When you are in the create/post a reply window use the Img editor feature. These are the titles/ranks. These change auotmatically in alignment with specific post counts. Some users have special titles/ranks, like Tipit staff. You click on the quote button next to the name of the person you would like to quote, as I have done with your post. Most of these questions are general Bulletin Board information, so I'm going to guess this is one of your first times on a forum. I would strongly suggest you read the FAQ page, to get an overview of proceedings around here. Enjoy!

  4. You will find a guide in the Archive of Wisdom forum that has some information about this.
  5. If you are p2p you should buy enough Ring of Forgings to smelt 2K bars. Then you can smith iron knives, which can be sold for 40gp each. This actually gives you roughly 400k in the end, double which you could get just selling the iron ores. It takes time to do the whole process but you are getting a lot of experience and more gold in the process. It's a win-win situation I'd say.
  6. evary1 noes dat PHP is beta den HTM!!!!!!111 HTM dis 4 noobz! LoL!
  7. Yes which means the site doesn't have any font's set, when it probably should. Since you can't really rely on a user's default font's fiting your websites look and feel.
  8. I'm more than happy to agree with that now that you have dropped the cheats from the list :)
  9. * Krest = Got to 99 smithing and got his xp dropped so he went back to lvl 90 because he had borrowed his account to a mate when the real owner was away. * M Oldfield = Quit, still occasionally checking these boards. * Dmonik = quit * Twy = quit * Gormis = Got to 99 smithing the legit way, later got banned because he gave his account away. Krest got his XP dropped to 5M (level 89) for account sharing. I don't care if Dmonik and Twy quit, they didn't really do much smithing for very long, hardly pioneers. Also Gormis lost all credit when he let a ton of people smith 2handers on his account, nothing impressive about that.
  10. I believe all of them were banned? I don't think Dmonik was banned though, I'd hardly call him a pioneer though, being one of the first doesn't make you a pioneer, especially when you look at his smithing level. At least Bluerose13x went all the way. I don't consider accounts that have been banned and/or cheated to be pioneers for anything.
  11. Anything to bring back 30 inventory slots for skilling :(
  12. Just to clarify, I would not be recommending that it is ok to use an older version of Windows, espeically unsupported ones. You need to have Windows 2000 at the minimum, but preferbly Windows XP. I would really suggest having Windows XP before you start connecting computers up to the internet. Older Windows OS's are just to vulnerable and very easy to become infected.
  13. If you can obtain a copy of Windows 2000 that would be a better option for that computer. I wouldn't bother trying to run Windows XP on it, it would run, but it's just too old to hold any reliability. Otherwise I don't see too much of a problem running Windows ME on it. I wouldn't want to try to connect it to the internet though, it would just totally die. Windows ME will do your basis office work and music playing though for a simple home desktop. Might want to look at saving some money and buying a new cheap computer from a place like Dell or HP though in the future.
  14. Do you know anything about Internet Explorer? There is nothing wrong with using it. I've been using Internet Explorer at home and at work for many years as my primary browser, I do not suffer from any usability issues nor any spyware or viruses.
  15. Simple: They were pioneers in their own doing. For instance Blue was the first player to reach 99 smithing, which at the time was a very difficult feat. On the other hand, Musashi's plan on "free smithing" lead to the drastically low costs of Rune equipment in a short timespan, making them very easily affordable to the Runescape population. Of course, the current generation of Escapers is mostly full of newbies who have no idea who these people are and their impact on the game. :P Just to clarify, because I know Musa's ears are probably burning right now. But he only started free smithing for the public when a number of other smithers had done so for quite some time, he was never the pioneer of free smithing. Rune items were always steadily dropping, but they did take a massive hit when Zezima reached rune smithing. Whitemagem came into the equation well after the rune market had it's day, he was a second time round smither in the greater scheme of things.
  16. That's strange that it loaded fine for me locally, I wouldn't mind knowing why that was :|
  17. Your XHTML/CSS is not causing the delay. It is your PHP code or the web server. The website loads fine as a static page locally on my computer, but as soon as you do all the fancy includes etc with your PHP code it kills IE. I'd start by looking at your PHP code then perhaps some mega-omg-we-don't-like-IE settings in the web server.
  18. They aren't holding any personal information about you, the person playing the game. They have information about their game only. You might control that character, but when you created your account you agreed that it was not your property. Therefore Jagex is not holding any information about you.
  19. Your HiJackThis log is clean. Just a few things to remember to stay clean. 1) Run automatic updates on AVG and run nightly virus scans. 2) Download an anti-spyware program, like Microsoft Anti-Spyware and keep it up to date and run nightly scans. 3) Run Windows Update (You will have to open this in Internet Explorer) and download all the available critical security patches and updates for common applications you use. Other than that if you tell us your computer's specs we'll be able to tell you if they look good.
  20. Thats why you uninstall the keylogger once you suspision is confirmed and then sack her. Whats the point of putting a keylogger in place if your just going to sack them? Which could come to bite you on the butt later on. If an employer had concerns about their employee's then they should talk to them. Or get someone in to help you sit down and talk to them.
  21. They have said it in their 2005 year projection and also in one of the monthly insiders this year that I can remember.
  22. My moto at work for our computer user's. Lock 'em down and throw away the key :)
  23. A clan system in Runescape has been suggested many times and Jagex have indicated on at least 2 occasions that I can remember that they will be implementing such a feature. I suspect it will come a fair time after the next skill, Carpentry, and the Player owned house's feature.
  24. The 60 second log-out policy is sort of annoying when training some skills that don't require your attention every minute. But other than that the feature isn't too bad. Just means that I have to be careful if I'm browsing website's/forums while playing Runescape.
  25. The only advantage this idea would have is to stop the price of Rares changing. But as was stated, Jagex most likely would not do this because I doubt they would want to recognise the price of Rares. But on the other hand If this trader bought Rare's for a for a cheaper amount and sold them for higher it would still keep the same amount of Rare's in the game but would also act as a money sink. But as should be pretty obvious now, Jagex will never do anything about Rares.
