Yeah sorry but it is clearly ridiculous to suggest any major reward for a minigame where the goal is to kill an enormous number of NPCs, who in the killing of you gain next to nothing. The minigame would be to spend an inordinate quantity of time killing goblins and imps ? No thank you. Change the game as much as the whip? Definitely not, you've clearly not thought this through, and merely selfishly want a big reward for you because you've, for some reason known only to yourself, engaged in a seemingly endless struggle to find, by a series of miracles, 15 challenge scrolls. To ask other players to do that simply to keep up with the game is obviously a terrible, terrible idea.

Well I quit for a while, (260 days without a log in), returned on a part time basis, (I'm now at uni, and life is muuuuuch better than RS but I still miss it :)), and thought I'd get the 2 levels I needed for these 2 99s at the same time, in the same hit. Plan now is to casually round the account off a little, do a bit of skilling etc etc. Missed the level notices like a fool but oh well.

Do you then not get the cape if it is in your inventory ?

Just wondering if you need to have the fire cape in your inventory or not when you're getting a second? If you do have to have it with you, do you have to have it equipped?

What ? The SGS minimum heal is 10 hp. Therefore the SGS spec isn't 'always' better than the AGS for one. And put it this way: two maxed melee people are fighting (99 hp). The first hit for both weapons deals 50 damage, leaving 49 hp each, both then spec, let's say the SGS hits first, giving the wielder an extra 25 hp (total 74) for a hit of 50. The AGS could then spec the 74 remaining HP of the SGSer and KO him, negating the positive effect of the SGS spec.

I currrently own Bandos tassets and chestplate and a dfs, I bought the bandos at around the price it is now (after it's gone up 250k each or so) and I bought the dfs around 15.5, which is now going up 600k+ a day, and so to avoid missing out I'd like to know if anyone has any ideas as to what these items will do in the next few days, my assumption is that the world2 crowd will already almost have turned the prices round and they'll be dropping again, (insert 'freaking merchers play the game and stopping messing with our items comment here' :ohnoes: ) Also, if i decide not to sell how low are these items likely to fall in the next month or so, (I'm reluctant to sell as I use them all the time).

That's a pathetic technicality and you know it. You sound like a health and safety inspector. The use of potions/food in random friendly duels is poor sport and not in the spirit of fun nor of fairness. However I do think the problem has been exaggerated, when someone uses pots after I challenge them (spontaneously) for a duel they're generally a lower level and so I just beat them anyway, and disregard it, I don't have the time nor the inclination to complain. They shouldn't use pots, end of, though it isn't too big a deal.

People get annoyed with those who use stat boosting potions in the duel arena (when not staking) for the same reason that they get annoyed when people use food. It isn't the case that they're not using pots because they're inferior at duelling, they don't use pots in friendly duels because unless you're maxing, dming, or have arranged to use them for whatever reason, then it is simply a waste and pointless, when people randomly challenge you to a friendly duel they're generally looking for a fun, equal duel and it's a waste of time to pot or eat during them.

The problem is you just described the whole skill, so the whole skill is awful. You train a COMBAT related skill by runecrafting, there's no way round that fact. So after performing the same route many times and spending a few dozen million gp you reach a level of maybe 60-70 you can finally reap your rewards, except you cannot reap any rewards because this skill is runecrafting mixed with agility, I.E. it helps you conduct certain tasks faster but is certainly not worth the time and the effort, oh, and at that level you find yourself a LOT poorer.

What do you want to go for ? the bosses or the normal monsters ?

Okay so after a recent flurry of questing I've decided I'd like to get the cape. The three obstacles to this are the required skills: 49 farming - currently 34, can probably gain another level maybe two through quests. Would it be wise to do this making only herbs ? 57 herblore - currently 51 a bit more quest experience available I think. 50 runecrafting - currently 35, again there's a little more to be gained from quests, I hope :D 25 hunter - easy enough I'm sure So if anyone has any advice with regard to these goals, (excluding hunting), I would be very grateful. I'd like to be able to achieve them without losing too much cash though I could put around two million into it, give or take a bit. Hmmm, my sig hasn't updated, I have 177 quest points, not 151.
