This ^ or at the very least put a wireless/wired lan driver on a USB stick... countless times I've re-installed Windows without my drivers backed up and had to juggle with my gf's laptop or use my phone to download drivers. Not good. :p It'd be worth checking the base of the laptop (near the battery area) often there will be a Windows key there. You can download and burn Windows 7 to a DVD then use this key once you've re-installed.

My workweek isn't that bad, the time flies by cuz I've got an awesome job with awesome people :D IIRC, the 10th day collection is only good compared to collecting every single day. If you collect maples after one day, you'll get like 892 maple logs or something and 8 nests (1 nest per 100 logs). So 8 nests per day, whereas if you waited 10 days you'd get 89 nests (instead of 80 nests after 10 days of collecting every single day). Sadly I don't have any of my old vids anymore; they were on my old old computer and I reformatted the harddrive on it so they all got erased :\ I uploaded a few old vids on youtube a while back though: http://www.youtube.com/user/muggiwhplar/videos You look sexy. Agreed. I miss the functionality of the Rune C'Bow and Diamond/Ruby (e) bolts a LOT more than I miss weapons special attacks. I also find it hard to find a good Ranged weapon. My Royal C'Bow is constantly nearing 0% (this is the second one I've made). And I much prefer a good one-handed C'Bow so I can use a shield. Maybe I should DG more and obtain Chaotics. I dunno. OT: 2006 was a great year for me also, but as previously mentioned it's more about the people I knew, my situation at the time (& my age) combined with the simplistic nature of the game, compared to how it is now. I'm not bashing RS3/EOC in any way, I just really enjoyed things when they were simple. But again, it's already been mentioned that the game needs to evolve and can't stay the same way forever. Hurray for change!

Not personally, but I know people who are 3. Have you become pickier about Facebook "friends" yourself? YES. Since I left uni, I made a new Facebook. Trimmed it down from ~1100 friends down to ~170. Since I also moved half way across the country for work, and don't plan on ever moving back "home", I'm not befriending people from my home town and have deleted all friends from school/college.

The Man From Earth Watched this film again last night. First time I saw it was about 2009, and I was amazed, truly. If you're into anything sci-fi or philosophical, or fantasy to some extent - this is worth a watch. I don't want to spoil it, but it is loosely about the notion of a man who has lived since the upper palaeolithic; 14,000 years until present day. The entire film bar a few minor scenes is all set it one room, with the same cast, heavily focused on dialogue. watch it!

For general use, I swear by my Toshiba Satellite. Not only is it great value you for money, with reasonable specs - it's built like a tank. I had an Acer prior to my Tosh, and it barely lasted a year. I think it's really worth finding something well made, even if you don't plan to keep it a long time, the option being there is nice. Who needs pressure to upgrade because the keys are falling off, right? Of course there are plenty of other good laptops which I can vouch for, generally the Sony Vaio's, despite costing almost as much as a MacBook Pro in some cases, are also great spec with good build quality, and they can be extremely stylish. HP's are great, I use them at work, my gf has one, and I'll likely be upgrading my Tosh to a HP Envy of come kind. I really like the Dv6t's and Dv6z's, but not sure they are made anymore.
