  1. Welcome back :) Some of the more "classic" skills have been neglected, I'm sure that given enough time Jagex will try to update and "modernise" these skills, as they have done with Firemaking. I don't smith much anymore, for the simple reason that it's basically useless, and costs alot to train :| If smithing made considerable money, I would of course value it as a skill, but it doesn't, therefore I don't. Mining and Smithing, being the most common F2P skills, naturally have molded the market into what it is, mining doesn't make that much money, is slow to train, and smithing loses money yet is still required for many quests and sought after items such as the Varrok armour :| I do hope that mining and smithing are updated, I'm thinking dragon pickaxe and dragon ores, bars etc. for the future
  2. Personally I believe the prayer method is preferable. It's all personal preference; of course you have to try the two before deciding which is for you, I wouldn't just ask on here, as you'll get a very biased view. However, the two seem to be pretty close regarding profit, after repairing armour etc. Anyway, good luck! ;)
  3. I haven't been spotted in ages, and I've only been spotted once :twss: Darn you, Local xD Also, I kinda think G/E should be a safe spot, like Edge. As so many people have to visit the G/E and most people don't even realise they've been spotted lol.
  4. Probably her intention :twss: should i report her first post? :-k Yeah, I s'pose so, just set to "other" and "Topic owner wishes to kill blog" ;)
  5. There's no evidence at all to suggest so, and if they did make it a "safe" mini-game, they would add some reward aspect, whether it be tokens or items of some sort. We have dual arena for risk-free PVP, so why bother with BH? Before claiming that Jagex WILL do something, do your homework. Because when proved wrong, you only look stupid ;)
  6. Wow. One of the best players I've seen, I wish you the best of luck with completing the rest of your 99's :twss:
  7. Nice mining, and pretty good combats, however.. Try to raise some of your other skills ;) 6/10 ~ Bit low, I know but that's due to having a low total level for your combat :geek:
  8. Ok, it's final this time... Closing my blog - I don't play anything like enough to maintain it, although I DO still play ;) Could a mod please lock this? Thanks :twss:
  9. LEEERRROOOYYY JEEENNKKKIINNNSSSS!!! But seriously, I've been thinking that RS is becoming TOO MUCH like World Of Warcraft lately, especially if you look at the interfaces etc. Runescape is better as a simplistic, classic game. I don't know why so many people urge Jagex to push it towards WoW, if you want to play that, go play it! As for "instances" - we don't need them. Join a team and go kill GWD bosses, or the KBD, Kalphite Queen, the new boss which I'm not familiar with, and many more. There is already a multi-team moster hunting availability there, we don't need to complicate Runescape anymore that it already is ;)
  10. Grats on 1600 total and the recent levels  You're taking off! Keep it up, we have another pro slayer in our midst?
  11. Thank you Haven't been on in a couple of days, been busy catching up with college & friends. I'm currently in the middle of the temple for Little Helper quest, next time I log on, I'll finish the quest then start on Talk of 2 cats :ohnoes:
  12. I have absolutely no problem with the Treasure Trial system. I've done over 10 level 3 clue scrolls, all have had a reasonable yield (100k+) On average, it takes me 6 trails. Not 20, I don't think there are ANY Clue Scrolls with 20 trials, however I do see where you're coming from. That's why I no longer bother with Level 1 or 2 clues ;)
  13. Bruno, not really. As with any area in RS, you can't really see much further than the screen stretch allows as it all goes white, try it. I'm quite sure this is an advantage, just not a particularly great or unfair one ;)
  14. Grats, 10 for sure =D> Might I ask what editing software you used, it's superb! I'm guessing Sony Vegas ;)
  15. Grats on 76 Fishing, and good luck with 80 Cooking and 1900 Total : ;)
  16. 9/10 :D Grats Toast, shame about the price drops though, Sara hilt share used to be loads, keep 'em coming ;) Off-topic, stop with all the flaming, the first few "0/10 you phail" were funny, now it's getting out of hand. If somebody posts on "Rate This" they're being serious, and probably want, and expect serious replies. I know it's only light-hearted banter but it only stirs up flaming and trolling. :wall:
  17. Hawt. I don't think this has ever been done before actually  Not whilst I've been on Tif anyways, so yeah. Good luck with it, make us all proud Maddy
  18. I was speaking to him in BSC earlier, he hangs in f2p world 3 i think. Well anyway, I' busy tonight so add me in-game "M--Y--L--Z" and i'll come head-hunting with you when i'm next on
  19. I think it certainly is viable. And if not yet, it will be soon. The trade cap is set to change yet again in the near future. Personally, I'd rather mine and bank my ores. Iron ore collectively is worth alot of money, and banking may take 50% longer for any given trip, but the rewards outweigh the costs IMO. As for the runners, I wouldn't waste my time. Reaching a mining level which fast iron is obtainable wouldn't take more than a day, so why work for somebody else, when you can mine it yourself? ;)
  20. Not THE ONLY way at all. It's simply personal preferance. They're so close in bonuses, it's pretty hard to tell the difference between the two anyway. And there's other things to consider, such as looks - some people may prefer the agressive style of the Scimmy, or the simplistic nature of the Longsword. As for the specials, most people who use a Scimmy, switch to another weapon (such as DDS) then switch back. :) I kinda wish people would drop this debate, as it's only opinion as to which is "better". ;)
  21. Me too, I've only got a pathetic 122 quest points, which at 1450 total is shamefull  At least now, I'm kinda motivated (aswell as 175 for RFD) to quest :ugeek: Pfft, I didn't do Sheep Shearer until I was like 114 combat. D: I'm 1750 total or something now and I've got 190. 131 combat. I don't wanna get a quest cape until I finish maxing my melee cause I do slayer and I can't get warped terrorbirds or scarabites yet. An advantage gained by not questing = ftw. :P Though, I'm at 95 defence, so it won't be that much before I am maxed melee (already 99 att and str >.>) Anyways, its a good update. Its a lot of work to get to the point where you can transfer 60k every 15 minutes. But I think its a good limit. Agreed. Although after some consideration, I think it should stop there. Jagex have said they're increasing the limit yet again in the weeks to come. :|
