Quest isn't that rare. Mining, Runecrafting and Slayer are much rarer :D

Up to a certain point, it's fine. Someone buying x amount of goods, and selling them for a profit is fine. But when a group of people, or an individual with deep pockets buys all the items in-stock from the G/E and manipulates the market, it's not really fair. I remember reading a couple of days ago about Bandos Godswords, this is just one example, I'm sure there are many :)

Naturally there is a hierarchy for the less common skill capes, and naturally the easier 99's to achieve will attract certain flaming/hating by individuals who think they're better for whatever reason. I get it all the time, for having an un-trimmed cooking cape. I'm seen as a "noob" etc. What matters is, I know the effort that I put into obtaining my cape, and reaching my goal. My friends realise this, and they are the only people I care about really (when it comes to opinions regarding Rs) ;)

I think the market will be affect as stated above, but it wont affect me as a player. I don't intend to take part in the PVP, as I'm a skiller. Nonetheless I'm quite sure it's a good update, it'll keep the ex-pker's happy anyway ;)

I had the same problem a couple of week back. I bought a new wireless internet gateway/network adapter and now it's fine. With all the new updates on Runescape recently, many of the old wireless network adapters can't cope with all the downloading. That's my only suggestion, besides that I don't know sorry :D
