Trade Limits Raised
Me too, I've only got a pathetic 122 quest points, which at 1450 total is shamefull  At least now, I'm kinda motivated (aswell as 175 for RFD) to quest :ugeek:

Trade Limits Raised
Both players will need 270QP. Thats no easy feat. RWTers rely on getting gold fast on newly created characters before they get banned. In order to do all the quests in the game you would need the following levels: Attack 40 Strength 60 Defence 65 Ranged 60 Prayer 55 Magic 66 Runecrafting 50 Construction 50 Hitpoints 10 Agility 60 Herblore 57 Thieving 63 Crafting 66 Fletching 50 Slayer 59 Hunter 51 Mining 60 Smithing 69 Fishing 62 Cooking 70 Firemaking 51 Woodcutting 72 Farming 53 Summoning 23 Combat 85 Thats a total of 10,129,764 exp, not to mention the time requires for all those skills and quests. A bot isnt going to raise a character that high just to trade 60k. [/hide] Not to mention the time to just do the flippin quests... One Small Favor Desert Treasure Mourner's End Part 2 Monkey Madness Recipe for Disaster Just a few examples. This is why I hope to god I never get banned. *shudders at the thought of having to do them again* Why would you? Unless you break rules? Sounds like a guilty conscience to me ;) :ohnoes:

Trade Limits Raised
The increase came as something of a surprise to me, although it was a nice one :) I think 30k is a bit low as the maximum trade limit, yet 60k seems a bit high. That's a potential 240k per hour for higher-level players (or quest enthusiasts). Another raise would mean possibly 90k? That seems rather a lot, I wonder if Jagex are planning some more changes for the near future :? ;) On a side note, it's great that I can have a bit more freedom with my friends, helped along by an increase of items able to be lent :D

Closing a Chapter
[hide=quote] Why don't you just come up and punch me in the face for enjoying the actual storyline of a quest, you'd be much more direct. k :lol: ok its just my view of the morning end quests my enjoyment of the storyline was long crushed by the stupid amount of having to think about it [/hide] So basically, you just don't want to use your brain? If you have on that is (;

Closing a Chapter
It's possible, it certainly seems we are heading that way. However, quests are frequently released, and with the closing of some chapters, I'm sure there will be an equal amount of openings to others ;)

Mylez ~ Blog to 99 Hunter & 1500 Total!
Thanks Mag3d Ok, here's a little update: My goals for now are as follows: Complete little helper/tail of two cats. Complete smoking kills. Slay until 70's in co,bat and 65 slayer, work on getting slayer helm etc. Use the charms/money from the above to get 50+ summoning. Start hunting! :D Also working on all stats 60+ as a side goal, this is going to be hard, i know, but i feel it's obtainable over the next few months

Or, like most people, take care over what you type and present to others. I don't use Mozilla Firefox, and have absolutely no trouble whatsoever stringing a sentence together. Besides, that's not the topic of the thread. The problem at-hand is that somebody refuses to accept Jagex's choices, here's a little something I stumbled across a few days ago. If you are still unsure as to why Jagex made these changes, read the following (if you're lazy - skip to 4.) "1. It wasnt fair on other players who had to work for their cash while the lazy players got it for almost nothing. 2. Bots swamped all the trees, rocks and fishing spots making it slower for the real players. 3. Member bots were paid for with stolen credit cards and the banks were going to stop their branch with Jagex because of the amount of stolen money going to Jagex 4. Jagex were losing money because they were having to repay the owners of the stolen credit cards, they were losing so much money they might have gone bankrupt and Runescape would have closed down entirely which would mean no pking anyway 5. Legitimate players would have no longer been allowed to pay with credit cards, which would have been the vast majority. 6. Much of the hacking and scamming was done to fuel the money sold to the gold buyers. 7. Much of Jagexs staff were being directed entirely to stopping it. This meant that there were less updates that players might actually enjoy like quests and new skills. 8. Players would find the game too easy if they were able to get skills to 99 and rare armour with no trouble. Theyd get bored very quickly and quit. 9. The bots created a huge supply with the items they produced, lowering the prices and making it harder for legitimate players to earn money through skilling."

Rate my new Levels
[hide=Quotes] I would do what he said, except stick with 70 defence. It really does make a difference, and it looks awesome with 70 att/99 str :P [/hide] I still think 75 attack is preferable. With the addition of one, maybe two, combat levels you also gain the use of godswords. Not many tankers use them, granted. However, when the prices fall, you may find it useful ;)

The Old RS? WTF Was So Wrong About It?
dont get me started on how awesome that game is ;) Anyways that ffx1 costs what, 13$ p month? even wow doesnt cost that much -.- and wow OWNS that game. :twss: I've tried WoW, and frankly, I prefer Rs, how it is today. Simply because it's just fun, and relaxing. I can skill happily, and achieve my goals without some egotistical PK'er ranting about how good he is, and challenging me to DM him. :| Runescape is good how it is today, I don't see why so many people moan, especially if they allegedly don't even play, I mean... why bother :?:

PvP
[hide=quote] Just wait for the 99% Pking worlds... Kay? Sometime in the next few months. Should be great. Not sure how it can be THAT great and still stop RWT? they said their little system...but it doesnt make any sense to me Alright, this is the example: You are player A wearing full bandos and bgs. Player B is wearing full Verac's, Elysian shield and a whip/ags. You are both lvl 138. Player A kills player B. Player A does not receive full verac's, elysian shield, whip, and ags. Player A instead receives full Zarosian armor (made-up items) as a drop. Zarosian armor is untradeable and is only obtainable through pvp. All of player B's items are gone, lost in the dark abyss of java code, never to be seen or heard from again, like blue party hats. This update will decrease the surplus of end-game content while giving players an incentive to risk it. If the pvp specific armor was only useful on pvp worlds, then the prices of armor and weapons would sky rocket. If the pvp armor was universal, then the prices would rise and then plummet because many people would have Zarosian armor. [/hide] Agreed, I think it's better to have un-tradable rewards, or tokens/credit of some sort. Otherwise, we're just inviting a whole new bunch of problems into to the where they're not needed. :)

The Old RS? WTF Was So Wrong About It?
He has a bloody good point on both counts. The price manipulation was a good thing, as many perishable items were WAY over-priced. Also, FFVII walks all over the newer ones!

runescape ad on german tv
Wow, that made me laugh, it helps if you know a bit of German ;) Should be interesting to see if they make tv adverts for the British channels such as BBC  I'm sure that in most countries, Runescape commercials would get a slating, the adverts wont appeal to that many people.
