What cheeses me off about all this and especially after trawling throught his thread is the number of people staying to get multiple Drag Defenders. Give the others a chance ffs, some people haven't can't even get one due to the sheer numbers of selfish noobs hogging the kills. :shame: Just my two-pennith :angry:

I have a question to put out there to all you TIF'ers. I recently did about 15 hours of slaying and had 4 effigy drops. Then I decided to use the assist system to help get my herblore up (for free :thumbsup: ) Everyday for the past two weeks at around the same time, I log in and as soon as I am able to give assists I call it out and generally get maxed within 10-15 minutes. Now here's my question: I have since done about 40 hours of slaying and not had one single effigy drop and considering I've had Dark Beasts, Abby Demons and Dust devils amongst the tasks, it seems a bit odd. Do you think that you can get an effigy drop while maxed?

Personally I don't know what to expect from this herblore update. Seems to me though, that the price of herbs might actually FALL due to less demand. (The new minigame/D&D possibly offering 'free' herb xp). Anyways, I'm not buying any more herbs for the minute but will snag plenty of seeds because by all accounts they could increase in demand due to the double harvest potential. We'll see soon enough.

I always had in mind what I wanted to call my online character and for many years carried it around in my head. I later learned that it was also the name of Don Quixote's horse lmao. (ps. only one person has ever made the connection in-game)

To be honest reset time is only important if you're desperate to collect your resources on a daily basis. Personally, I collect weekly, every Saturday after 12pm GMT. Your subjects will be paid 75K gp per day so it is vitally important that you have at least that amount to cover their 'wages'. On a weekly basis this adds up to 1.35M with a built in 75k to spare. I looked up the definition of emergent gameplay on Wiki because there aren't any other credible sources for that type of description. The only example that I have is one which was discussed on this forum some weeks ago, the one where the War Tort could carry bones to the altar and quick-switch them in your inventory to be used on said altar. Bizarrely the JMod was unaware of this "bug", but others described it as emergent gameplay. (Sorry if my description is off slighlty. My bad - memory). So have I read this correctly. Slayer tower for camping and Durdel for task. Defender over a shield, whip, SS or Kurasi's sword depending on what you're training. Pot up as best you can and bring a Yip or 3.

Has anyone else had this problem? I'm trying to get the weights from lightest to heaviest. My order is 3,5,2,6,4. because he says each one is lighter than the next. Crate 2 = weight 3 crate 3 = weight 5 crate 4 = weight 2 crate 5 = weight 6 crate 6 = weight 4 The Captain Gilroy just says "You might want to rethink that newbie" or similar unhelpful. Maybe tried 50 times now on two different worlds. Went back to Korasi and Jessika and still no luck. I have tried everything including the guides. Is it a bug or am i missing something?

Account status showed 'safe'. :-o Logged back in and normal service was resumed. No mute! :-D Did I get muted by mistake or was it a glitch you think?

What I would do: uninstall all unwanted programs. my computer>add/remove programs>uninstall. Quick and easy. Hard to screw up! What my tecky son would do: find the W7 code on the label from the underside of computer. Download latest version of W7. Use the code to reinstall W7. BIG chance of screwing up! The master quest cape would take on an animated appearance making it clear to all that not only your stats are maxed out but you have the cape to prove it. Quests have been about progression. For me it was about gaining the xp from certain quests to raise my skill levels. As i got deeper into the game, those quests became more challenging, naturally so, allowing me to grow with the game. There have been a few occasions when a quest has come out and i didn't have the required levels, so it was my choice to chip and grind away in my own time until i was experienced enough. Also, in my ealry questing days, the plot lines used to act as a mini RS guide through the world of Gielinor. I found that aspect very rewarding. In summary, the quest requirements must continue to become more challenging in terms of levels, that's the custom and practice of the established game, but for goodness sake let's finish some of those old storylines off.

I always use a teleport crystal to get back to Lletya bank. Then run back to the respawn spot in Elf Land (past the two trip wires and leaf trap) with a tort. I can harvest about 200 in 20 minutes. Works for me :thumbsup:
