  1. Yup, I knew about that, but I didn't send any voyages. I came to ports, checked to see that I had 3 voyages from 2 adventurers. Then checked some ships from yesterday (jncluding trio adventurer's storyline), did a Port random event, then my adventurers disappeared.
  2. I had a 3 special voyages from adventurers today, but then I checked my ship from yesterday for trio storyline, and then I did a Port Random event and my current adventurer's voyages disappeared to 0. I wonder what happened. They only had steel missions, so no big loss, but still.
  3. Got another Chi voyage today. Need to get 9 more Chi if today's mission succeeds and I need to do 2 more adventurer's storyline voyages for Full Seasinger.
  4. They didn't mention anything about how the Dual Wielding will be bound. If they aren't giving us additional binds, or allowing us to use one bind to bind both the MH and OH versions, then the Dual Wielding won't be too useful. I'd really like to get Dual PLS but not if it costs me an extra bind.
  5. It's a *huge* project. By its very nature, there will probably be bugs everywhere. In any case, the majority of their efforts will be concentrated there. Then there are 2 new skills that are supposed to be coming out as well. Seems to me like they are rushing through a lot of stuff; it seems a bit too ambitious.
  6. Where did you get these from? And I am most certainly not excited about a new beta. Can we at least try to fix the one that is currently a mess instead of embarking on a new one? That's far more important than some fancy graphics. There's a bazillion things that need to be fixed in EoC, things ranging from the ease of bosses, the low value of various bosses, way too much XP everywhere and so on. Jagex already released one Evolution of Runescape far too early despite it clearly not being ready and the protestations of their beta testers; let us hope that does not happen again. Not sure if you bothered to read those. GWD bosses getting a hard mode, lets see how this goes before we start complaining about bosses being too easy. Yes because God Wars are the only thing that are currently wrong in the EoC, right? They have already done a bunch of 'fixes' and yet here we still are, like 4 months later and there's a still mess. It's going to need a lot more than this to fix it. So why don't we iron that out, instead of starting on a new beta so suddenly? The problem is they don't really do these fixes with any consistency. They 'fix' something by trying something extreme, people complain, they take it to the other direction, they leave it that way for a while people complain some more and so on. If they just spent a good month on it, forgoing all weekly updates aside from fixes, with a few dedicated J-Mods there for feedback and communication, they could iron out the EoC in a month or so.
  7. I am debating whether I should send any feedback to them this time. They certainly didn't listen last time; sort of defeats the whole purpose of having a beta.

  9. A bit of rough days. I have been trying to get my second tripple voyages done, but only last night did I complete the first of the 3. WIll be a few days before I probably get another triple voyages; I need to do 2 more. I don't have much luck with getting storyline voyages. Then I need another 14 Chi. I also need to get 3 more Morale and 3 more Combat effects. Totally empty on those, need them to ensure maximal success. Keep getting Seafaring bottles and Crew rerolls. I have 3 FOTS, I suppose I could suicide the final one.
  10. Yeah I just remember him coming to Ali's aid in ROTM and calling him brother. I am aware that brother doesn't always mean blood relative but that was sort of ambiguous. In any case; Ali doesn't trust him.
  11. I don't think there's any evidence to suggest that he is fiercely loyal to Zaros, either. It has been repeatedly and unequivocally stressed that we can never trust Sliske on anything. This line has been repeated by his own brother no less -- who would better know him? I am not saying that the events of TWW particularly reveal that Sliske was or is going to betray Zaros. It's just in his general character which suggests that this is a possibility, that's all. I would much rather take Ali's word over Azzandra's (and I don't think Azzandra says with any great certainty what he says about Sliske), and Ali makes it clear, Sliske is not to be trusted. I don't think Sliske is the self-sacrificing type either; if he was reasonably sure he could surpass Zaros and be a God, I don't think with all his knowledge, power, cunning, and will-to-power, that he'd abstain from that. The Mahjarrat are very Darwinian.
  12. The Mahjarrat have been more than willing to betray one another at times. Lucien, for instance, was trying to instate himself as ruler over his race. That's the impression I got from the lore. True, they might not take the predictable route. But given Sliske's treacherous history, that's precisely what he'd do. He'd assure the others in the Zarosian camp that he's really doing it for Zaros, only for it to be revealed that he was doing it to further his own ends. Not everyone who uses the stone faces dire consequences. Also, it is unclear what Sliske's relation to the Dragonkin is. He might be able to persuade them to hand over the stone in exchange for their freedom from their bind to the Stone. Also, at the end of the ROTM, isn't the Stone lost? The dragonkin can detect its misuse, but it is unclear if they can always locate it.
  13. O Well, they do have all the coolest designs. I understand the theme that they were going for (The Death Lotus Society is full of powerful and stealthy assasins) but the armour simply looks atrocious. Particularly that symbol on the mask, and the headband. Also it is reminiscent of Red Dragonhide. It shouldn't be too hard to give it a cool ninja symbol either, ya know. Again, I say they should just rip off some ninja character from anime. It doesn't have to be the exact same thing, an approximation would do. I just googled that up and there are a lot of interesting designs that would be feasible and look awesome in RS. Plenty of stealthy characters that look awesome. For the moment though, I will be covering up that hideous outfit with my Shadow Hunter Override combined with some other outfits. A shame. Hell, I'd just settle for a redo of the mask alone. The more I look at the rest, it isn't that bad. It's just the mask. ----- I did get my full Death Lotus set. Here is the picture for Sylpheed:
  14. No one is asking them to devote hours. But surely they can spend 15 minutes or whatever it takes to make sure that the best armour in the game is aesthetically pleasing? Never underestimate the power of the aesthetic; fashionscaping exists for a reason. Hell, how hard is it to google up some samurai images and basically rip that off? I wasn't saying I agree with their philosophy simply putting what I believe it is. Yes, I sensed that. My comment was just a general response to their philosophy, not really a direct comment at you. Sorry if that was unclear. Concise expression is a bit hard on the Internet, sometimes.
  15. I like Tetsu except for the helmet, the face is horrid, particularly that mustache (I know it's not really a mustache but it looks that way). Looks robotic in a weird way. Seasinger looks awesome in a certain sense, but the top looks like a finely -- a very finely -- tailored suit; not battle gear.

  17. Got another Lacquer mission. This time, I will be getting that Full Death Lotus. On another note, all the armours look rushed and horrible, aesthetically. Can't they rework them one last time and put in the same effort into these that they put into SGS? If nothing else, they might as well change the appearances of PoP with hybrid armour (even that looks cooler).
  18. Does the Cherry Tree boost apply to trade good missions?
  19. Although my first impression is to be pessimistic about the actual update itself (not necessarily because it's a bad update but because it's clearly aimed at PKing clans and that doesn't appeal to me), I am going to try it out before I form any judgment on it.
  20. This week's patch notes are absolutely lovely. This is precisely how these should be done. Good job, Jagex.
  21. Suomi was always a rambler. In any case, I think the forced name change was a bit harsh. Sure, he was referencing another game by way of wordplay but still.
  22. I failed a 92% mission for 6 Lacquer, figures.
  23. Can you post a picture wearing the whole set if it succeeds? There are already some pictures on RS wikia, but sure, I don't mind.
  24. Just sent out a mission for 6 Lacquer at 92%, this should get me my Death Lotus.
  25. Got my Tetsu, need 5 more Lacquer for that Death Lotus, come on now.
