  1. Original Sun Chips. They don't even taste that awesome, but they are the single most addicting chip in the world. Harvest Cheddar Sun Chips are also amazing.
  2. Well we don't need to eat ice cream for dairy value every day, but yet a lot of us do if we have it in the house. I enjoy eating meat products because it tastes good and so do most other people that eat meat.
  3. Push-ups and sit ups in sets of 100 or 50. That will get you ripped.
  4. I remember a time when there weren't reminiscing posts made every other week and people just focused on playing the game in front of them. Seriously people, I've been playing for about 5 years and reminiscing is just so pointless. Especially on these topics where people just try to post old stuff so they can out-do each other.
  5. If I could be a super-hero, I would WANNABE MODERATOR! But uh, go running to relieve stress.
  6. Hehe. I edited in my others now, as well.
  7. I'm gonna beat Jaerkd00d to it again : [hide=Don't even think about it.] Rage Against the Machine "Self-Titled" The Mars Volta "De-Loused In the Comatorium" Lamb of God "Sacrament" Pink Floyd "Dark Side of the Moon" 'Nuff said. Bon Iver "For Emma, Forever Ago"[/hide]
  8. I post this because my Sociology professor (Abbas Mehdi, who is actually a really cool professor) testified for this case and was mentioned in the article. He named a few instances to us where this happened. One of which was a hospital in northern Iraq. He said that it used $28 million to build this hospital and it existed on paper, yet when officials went to see it, there was nothing there. Just open land and the leaders of the project were gone along with the money. He said things like these happen countless times. Kind of interesting to see all of our aid money at work.
  9. Cool Whip Cool Hwip Cool Whip Cool Hwip You're eating hair!
  10. People like you really piss me off. Cannabis is NON ADDICTIVE and it doesn't screw up your life unless you let it. Having an obsessive personality, on the other hand, does screw up your life. I know MANY people that smoke pot, some that are even on Dean's lists that smoke pot. My dad smoked pot for 15 years of his life and it didn't harm him. He's the network administrator for an entire school district. My mother also did for relatively the same amount of time. She's a professional cake decorator. Don't you ever stereotype people that smoke pot. I'm starting to enjoy the middle school health class scare tactics that you're using. The FACT is that cannabis is a non-lethal drug. Your personal OPINION is that it is bad for you. Don't mix your opinions with facts.
  11. You know I'm starting to really doubt that you have any idea what you're talking about. I picked the About.com article to look at and all the negative side affects, aside from the inhalation of smoke (which I already listed as negative), are short term and only occur when you are high. The ones that were listed are actually what makes getting high enjoyable and most of those are only negative when taken out of context. I doubt you have even smoked pot before, because if you have, I think you would better understand what I'm trying to iterate. Try not to nag something you've never experienced, especially when it's not unhealthy.
  12. I can see that happening, but I think since I listen to such a massive variety of music (from classical to acoustic to metal), I doubt that would happen to me. I don't sit down and listen to them EVERY time I'm at the computer or have my iPod in, but they're a band I could listen to no matter how I'm feeling and that's what I love about them. And because I'm a drummer, the percussive capabilities that Danny Carey holds blow me away every time I listen.
  13. I'd like to see some of these "studies" you are talking about, because every study that I've ever seen has shown that smoking moderate amounts of cannabis is not harmful. The ONLY affect it would have on you is that it is unfiltered, thus small amounts of tar would go in your lungs. I smoke once or twice per week and have never "forgotten small things" and I certainly do not have depression. Saying that cannabis leads to depression is complete bogus. Although I do agree on the acting weird to other people for no reason part. That only happens when you are actually high, though. That's half the fun of smoking it.
  14. I'm compelled to hit you very hard with a sledgehammer for saying that.
  15. The fact that you can control how much tobacco goes into your cigarette makes it much better though. I can make very small cigarettes that get me through the day rather than smoking a few larger filtered ones.
  16. I smoke. I think that if you feel the need to relax, smoking is a great way to relieve stress and anxiety. If you want a healthier way to do it, roll your own cigs. A pouch of tobacco gets me 80 cigs out of 5 dollars. After I got sick of spending nearly $5 per pack on Marb Reds, I decided to roll my own. They're not healthy, but they don't have as many chemicals and added junk that filtered cigs do. One or two per day is NOT going to shave that much off your life. It's the people that smoke a pack per day that are killing themselves. Removed, please don't recommend illegal substances ~pryomancer
  17. Over 20,000 hockey cards. Although I haven't been collecting since I was about 13 or so.
  18. Just let it go, he's not going to stop. Ignore him like you would a small annoying child. "It's not the cards your delt in life, it's how you play them"
  19. 'Atta kid. I'm torn between Time by Pink Floyd and every song Tool has written.
  20. Ours was the Baldwin-Woodville Blackhawks. Our hockey uniforms used to be the Chicago Blackhawks ones. They were awesome. A town in the northern part of Wisconsin who I actually played multiple times each year for tennis has a weird name. Rhinelander High School Hodags. A Hodag is a resurrection of the restless spirit of dead lumber oxen. The Hodag is a 200-pound, seven foot-long, lizard-like beast covered with horns.
  21. I bought my first MP3 player, an 8GB iPod Touch, for $50 from a friend 100% un-used 3 weeks ago. I think they're great, but I wouldn't justify spending more than $100 on any MP3 player.
  22. I'll talk to the other guys in the band, but for now they will not be available for download, unfortunately. Thanks for all the positive and critical opinions expressed so far. Keep checking the profile for news on the release of the CD and for the other two songs to possibly appear in the future.
  23. Dude, you run a mile in 16 minutes? That's like walking the whole way... Being a runner myself, I can tell you to start slow even if you feel like crap, KEEP GOING. Run a whole mile at the slowest jog you can do, but don't stop running. Keep your breathing even and deep and eventually just increase your speed. There aren't any magic tricks to running.
