  1. I can't justify listening to a christian band anymore.
  2. I'm sorry, but I just get a little irked when people just put a picture up that says "fail" instead of staging an argument against what was said and backing it up with fact and or opinion. Had he said "I don't think this list is good at all because..." and then named off a few reasons, I would have left it alone because that's his opinion. I just get really sick of people overusing "fail" or motivational posters.
  3. It might be flawed in a few spots, but I don't understand how it can be "epic fail" as you describe it. Do you have a solo in mind you would like to see on the list? I know I have at least one, maybe two. I'm really getting sick of 13 year-old internet morons finding pictures of Captain Kirk facepalming or something that says FAIL, and applying it to something that might just be slightly misconstrued or incorrect. The only thing that "fails" here is you. I'm sure someone of your musical knowledge (judging by the Guitar Hero signature you have) should have obviously been appointed to come up with this list.

Actually they're quite popular. Most of my high school listened to Muse. I have most of their albums.
  6. Bulls On Parade is a pretty unique "scratching" solo, while Killing's solo is just a whammy pedal with some sixtuplets (which are at a very slow tempo, I might add). I can see the justification of Bulls' solo, but I would argue that the solo in Testify is better than the one in Bulls, hell, he plays with his amp cord... But I definitely agree with you on the second part of your statement.

  8. That whole song is fantastic, even the drumming was great for the time.
  9. Actually, I think you could take many of his solos out of their songs and they would be just as good. I just saw Rage last Wednesday, and Morello did a few minute-long solos with nothing but a drum beat or nothing at all behind them.
  10. Here's why that list absolutely fails: Eruption. One of the easiest guitar solos of all time It's cliche, but I think Jambi's solo is well crafted in technique along with an odd time signature(6/4. I'd put it near Money by Pink Floyd) At least put Tool on the list. Stairway to Heaven. GREAT song, but not that great of a solo. Here's why that list is pretty damn good: NO WHITE STRIPES. Finally a list that doesn't include the absolutely over-hyped Jack White. Tom Morello. Some of the most innovative ways to play the guitar were started with this guy. Frank Zappa. 'Nuff said.
  11. Just say no to HARD Drugs. That's always been my motto. Along with showing Requiem For a Dream in health class. That shows the realities of drug use and abuse.
  12. Mostly acoustic.
  13. Renaissance: Paris 2054 I was absolutely blown away with this movie. Such beautiful animation.

  16. Blink-182 was never good in the first place, so their "death" really never phased me.
  17. Are you my 55 year old 8th grade health teacher? You sound so much like her...
  18. I'm very anti-acronym. I never use "lol" or any other stupid acronyms. I prefer to type out my words and if I find something funny, I'll put a "haha" in there or some other form of identifiable laughter.

Pallin is a last ditch for McCain to gain votes. He realizes that there are a select few people left in this country that want stupid 15th century right wing ideas taught. Schools don't need church, they need thinking. The church has prohibited that for centuries and I think it's time we stop it in school. I'm still apathetic in this election because I don't see a candidate that I can support whole-heartedly, but McCain is definitely NOT the correct choice between the two.

  21. Anything on MTV. I am really starting to think that they need to change the M in MTV, because there isn't much "music" going on there anymore.

I played Junior A hockey and I was the fighter for my team. It was pretty funny because at the time I was 17 playing before my senior season of hockey and some of the guys I was fighting were like 20 years old. I probably fought 15 times in a 2 month period.
  23. I can understand that you believe in creationism for humans. That's completely understandable, but to say that evolution in animals is false, would be very untrue. Besides, biology doesn't study humans nearly as much as plants and animals. Animals evolve. That's just the plain truth.
