It's just the fact that capitalism is slowly losing its power in America. Our standard of living is going to be on a downward trend for the next 10 years. America is going to finally be equaled out with the rest of the world powers after the financial crisis is settled.

That's why hockey is such a great sport. The speed of it is just amazing, and of course being able to check people is one of my favorite activities.

The American people are truly tired of it, they are the change that they have been waiting for just as Obama has professed, and what I've tried to get across to people who don't "buy it". Yeah the Coleman vs Franken ads are completely ridiculous. I've been watching them slam each other since late May. Personally, Franken is better at it haha.

I play sax for about 6 years and have played all of them and by far the hardest is Bari. I don't know much about specs or pricing on Sopranos though, sorry. I just used my school's when I played :|

Something said like that would bring me completely against gun control. But to stop being a giant jerk to you, in all fairness, I realize you haven't been "in" to hockey for that long so I'll cut you a break ;) As I stated earlier in the thread I've been playing for 15 years and watching since I was in the womb. I can see where you might get the idea that it is similar to basketball, but let me tell you, it is definitely NOT. The speed of hockey is ridiculously faster compared to that of basketball. I think the only comparison I can fairly make between the two is that they're both played in the winter. Just keep watching games and snag a rule book if you can (hell, I'll send you my old USA Hockey rule book from back when I used to be a ref) and check out some of the basic rules (offsides, icing, 2-line pass, etc.) because it will allow you to understand the game a lot better. Glad to see more people are getting into hockey.

Welcome to University :) As your teacher may have said, the best way to study is a little bit each night. You have 25 minutes to go over your lecture that you had that day, don't you? Use this test as a wake-up call that it's not lay around and not study time anymore. As for what you can do for this test, I would recommend (as stated before) skimming through the chapters. Look at main points at the end of the chapters and use the study questions for small amounts of help too. If there happens to be any boldface words, MAKE SURE YOU KNOW THEM because they are the most important terms in the chapter. Finally, use common sense. It's a simple bit of advice, but it works. If it's multiple choice, eliminate all wrong answers and you'll find yourself in a much easier boat.

Please (and no I do not mean to be a jerk), tell me how debating religion is an oxymoron? And I know that many people have gotten mad at me for debating Christianity on the sole fact that I say "god does not exist". I think a lot of Christians (at least the ones I have spoken with including my family) put up the wall when I say that one little phrase. Debating religion goes on a two way street. Perhaps I get offended when you say, that because I don't believe in god or recognize that jesus is my savior, I'm going to hell and that I "need to be saved". In all honesty, that does offend me, but I'll put it aside to have a debate about it. I think that some of the believers need to settle down a bit and realize that some people don't believe in it and we're not going to walk on glass for those that do.

I had it say "Wake up, Blaine, a wonderful new day is here to greet you!" around 50 times this morning until my roommate got up. He gave me the dumbest look in the world and then we both busted out in laughter. Thank you, YouTube!

I would and have bashed Christianity on these boards on multiple occasions. I find cults, religions, and superstitions to be all in the same category, very primitive in nature, and not applicable to civilized people living in the 21st century.
