Would you eat something that is not usually socially accepted e.g dog, balut (fertilized duck embryo)? I would never eat dog unless it was the absolute last thing on earth and I was starving to death. Not eating another culture's cuisine or odd foods doesn't seem picky to me, though. I don't understand. What's so bad about eating dog? In 21 years of being alive, I've gone a total of two weeks at most without having a dog as a pet. I despise people who eat dog. So if you owned a cow would you be completely against eating beef? That is a ridiculous counterexample. The emotional bond between a human and a cow is not nearly the same as that between a human and a dog.

Jesus...I would never spend more than $30 on a keyboard. I'm bound to spill something on it anyways.

The first time I watched Requiem for a Dream I was at my ex-girlfriend's house from high school and we started it around 11pm and I left her place around 1ish. She lived another town over (about 20 miles) and the drive home for me was completely silent; no radio, no nothing, just driving and thinking. Now I love watching it. It has some serious dark beauty, but all of Aronofsky's movies do and that's why I love him :D

Yes, and there have been some really ground breaking studies done within the last five years about contact sports and their long term affects on health. Even athletes that stop at the college level have an extremely high likelihood of having some sort of brain-related illness later in life.
-
Wrong. It takes ONE blow to the head, one helmet to helmet contact to cause enough damage to cause dementia and other brain complications later in life. Except that is not excessive drinking, but whatever. I just get upset when people demonize drinking because of the stigmas attached when there are many, many other things that are much worse for you but aren't exactly talking points.

Oh yes, my hearing is already damaged. So many hours spent on drumlines without wearing earplugs. I do wear (ear) protection when I'm playing the set though.

You're only focusing on the extremes variables there. 1-3 beers is very casual drinking and also doesn't mean that he is always have 3 beers every night like you bolded. Also when he refers to going to a bar it's only probably only a few nights a week like one or two. I don't know why you have such a negative view on drinking, but it's not as bad as you make it out to be. If you include the trips to the bar, he probably is averaging 3 beers a night, which is a bad idea if continued for a while. There are a million other things more people do on a daily basis that are worse for your health than three beers a night. It's only perceived as worse because you become intoxicated from drinking beer. How about the people that eat at McDonald's, drive without a seat belt, get extremely sunburned often, or play contact sports that cause brain damage? Those are just a few examples off the top of my head. Like I said, it's only perceived as more negative because it makes you drunk.

Yes, you can. Although they are the "open-air" model, I have no problem hearing the music while playing my drumset. My set at home is in a completely wide open basement (lots of boomy echoes) and the set I play at college is in a small studio with foam on the walls. In both situations I can hear adequately; those headphones can get LOUD. They do make an isolation version of those (I believe it is the same model number or something very similar) but I think it is slightly more expensive.

The heavy drinking, no, but a couple beers with dinner isn't bad for you and I've read elsewhere that having a daily glass of wine or beer is actually good for your health. I don't know if that's proven or not though.

Yeah this is quite annoying and it has been happening for awhile. I'll finally go back to summoning once it's fixed, but who knows if that will even be this year.

Maybe I'm just being dense.....but.....explain?

I like the addition of medic gear to the Assault class, but I'm not too sure how I feel yet about the Suppressive Fire idea :???: I guess I'll just have to weigh in when I buy it!

That depends on how much you are willing to spend. About $70-120 AUD. These are what I own and they blow anything out of the water in that price range. They're around $90 USD on Amazon and from what I can see here they're around $80 USD. If you're going to buy headphones over $50, DO NOT go cheap on them or it will be a complete waste. Spend the extra cash for some nice hi-fi's. You won't regret it. How good quality and how comfortable are they? I'm looking into buying a new pair of headphones, and am seriously considering getting those at the moment. Those headphones are immensely comfortable and those babies don't require adjusting because they automatically adjust to your head size. Those little flap/wing-looking things rest on the top of your head, giving a nearly weightless feel to the headphones. There is no pressure whatsoever on your ears or the top of your head. The cups are super soft and have a lot of very nice padding on them. Often I find myself wearing my headphones at my computer even when I'm not listening to anything because they're warm and comfy  The sound quality is top-notch. I would go check out some reviews on Amazon if you want in-depth analysis of the sound because I am not an expert nor do I have the time to type out something in-depth. NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO. Do not buy Beats under any circumstances.

Oh come on, the age of 18-24 is a time where most people dabble in alcoholism. 1-3 beers a night is not much at all actually. We're all going to die of cancer anyways.

I KNEW that the new whip vine wasn't going to outclass any of the chaotics. I doubt I will be going there anytime soon....canceling all tasks there too by the looks of the crowds
