The Mourners aren't resurrecting Zamorak, and he didn't die either. When the Staff of Armadyl impaled both Zaros and Zamorak, Zaros vanished from this realm while Zamorak 'seemed to get more real', that is what the old stories tell. Zamorak never died. The Mourners are in fact trying to transfer Zamorak from the God Realm to this dimension, something that is forbidden by Guthix.

When I read what the wizard said, I immediately thought of Simon Templeton, tbh, although I don't see him as an apprentice at the Wizards Tower :? I really don't think it's the WOM, as he's far too old, AND I couldn't find any info about time spent in the Wizards Tower in his biography. I have never even heard of this 'Eye of Saradomin', which is a rare thing indeed, but I think it may be another name for the Stone of Jas. Elriss says it created Rune Essence and all of the Rune Altars, which were all created by Guthix and his Stone of Jas... But why would the mages call it the Eye of Saradomin?? The Stone literally was made and owned by someone called Jas, so Sara couldn't have made it :-k Sooo confuzzling... fascinating... Maaaaybe... Saradomin lied and said that HE made the Stone/Eye! He did it before! Sara told everyone that he created Gielenor, which is, of course, not true. Man, this is great :twss:

Can't be, Elriss says that each area in the rune alter is in its own dimensional like space, and the guild is in such a place, she also says its the shadow of the old Wizards Tower made by their magic. That doesn't mean it can't be 1) we have no proof of people managing to make their own dimensional spaces 2) we do however know people can manipulate them - break into abyss, creating fairy rings, lunar isle ppl flatten out dimensions to keep real astral altar in this realm Quite easily the rc guild culd jsut of been moved inside an altar I like this kind of intelligent talk, I really do. Should I pull my old 'Mystery Doors' topic out of the Burning Graveyard of Dumped Topics? Nah... My opinion on this is that the RC Guild is probably built in another dimension, cause why else would they use a portal as door? For the show? Probably not. The outside world in the guild looks kinda weird, little islands/rocks in a dark (red?) liquid. The only other explanation is that the guild is actually built under the wizzy tower basement, in a huge cave, but that doesn't sound very good either, cause then they wouldn't have used a portal either. So if I was the architect of this guild, and it had to go in another dimension, I woulda been smart and dumped it in the same dimension as one of the RC altars, but thats just me. EDIT: Paw Claw, we now DO have proof humans can make their own dimensions, Elriss said it. She said that the RC Guild is built in it's own pocket universe, created by their own magic. Since the plane originated from human hands, I do no longer believe the guild resides in the same universe as a RC altar.

That would mean you knock someone up in the past, you sicko :shock: Oh great, a lesson in not messing with history from mister "I'm my own Grandpa..." And with that you mean me? Cause then you got it wrong. I said that the knight you talk to during the Demon Slayer Quest, Sir Prysin, is the great grandson of Wally. If Wally is actually you travelling back in time and defeating the demon, then you have to get a girl in the past and get her pregnant.... somehow.... :? Otherwise Sir Prysin wouldn't exist. So no-one here is his own grandpa...

Isn't it possible to make these highscores like the Jagex ones? So that somebody with, for example, 99 smithing, but a total lvl lower than 1655 can still feature in the Highscores, but then only in the Smithing one?

I don't think I heard anything about that, to be honest... I really believe there were only six :| The people of Uzer (and Ullek) build golems themselves, but maybe we helped? The golem lost his memory because he was damaged, but golems in general don't remember much, they only know just enough to do their tasks. Could be a good idea, but the problem with Prifddinas is that it is occupied by EVIL elves, so they wouldn't let you in anyway. Could be, could be... Meh, I don't think so. If you succeed, there isn't a reason anymore to go back in time to do it, therefore you won't do it, bla bla bla...

Zaros was not more powerful than Guthix. Zaros was actually ALMOST as powerful as guthix, which is still verrry powerful. I'm fairly sure I read somewhere that Zaros came into Gielenor after Guthix went to sleep. Also, Erichermit is right, Guthix is just a little bit more powerful than Zaros, and THE most powerful God. Furthermore, I do not think Seren is one of the elder gods, because when Guthix awoke at the end of the Third Age and ended the Godwars, he commanded all the Gods to leave Gielenor and only battle in the God Realm. Seren was forced to do so too, which implies that Guthix was more powerful. For any other questions, *points to signature*, ask me ;)

Well, if I remember correctly, no-one really knows where we came from... I think everybody just assumed that we were created by Guthix, but the lore only states 'Guthix found an empty plane, shaped it, and went to rest'. I agree, this kinda implies he created us, but this explanation works too. And about the balance thing, Guthix could in fact introduce races to Runescape without destroying balance. One explanation for him getting humans here is that he 'created' races two at a time, each being the opposite of the other, that would keep things kinda balanced. Another theory is that, because Seren brought the Elves into Gielenor first, Guthix saw that the world wasn't balanced anymore, so he brought a race of it's own to restore balance! This last one seems likely to me, as Elves probably were the first race on RuneScape, this is backed up by both lore and the fact that you can see a startled Elven scout in the Meeting History-past.

After the Stone of Jas was dicovered long ago by a Fremennik Seer, Guthix took it away, apparently because he didn't want mortals toying around with it. So then why would he allow it to be part of a minigame? Anyway, there is more proof indicating that the Stone of Jas lies somewhere in Lumbridge Caves, maybe even below the TOG Cave. I really didn't mean to suggest the Stone of Jas was located at the Fist of Guthix, I was only suggesting that the F.O.G is where it originated from, that lovely bug lady who guards the F.O.G does say that she doesn't know why it came about, meaning it was long before her time. Perhaps the 'fist' is the mark of a failed attempt to possibly destroy the stone, leaving an indentation. Hmm... :-k I see... You may be onto something here. If you throw the Stone of Jas towards the grounds, you do get a FOG-like indentation... Thanks for the explanation. That guy would be me. It was a Fremennik that discovered the Stone, but Guthix took it away shortly after, so the discovery itself didn't take place in the Wilderness Also we have proof magic came before the other gods, ergo there was no Zaros at this point and the wilderness was Zaros realm that was torn apart and destroyed after Zamorak "killed" him and they imprisoned all the mahjaratt. So it'd of just been another nice green place back then that led up to the snowy areas of the fremmnik lands. Yup, forgot to mention that in my last post, but yeah, the Wilderness didn't exist in those times. It was a healthy, forested area.

I agree with people like Merv and Den, this IS the Stone of Jas. What else could it be? When I did the quest and watched the cutscene, I looked up from the text and could only catch a glance of it, but kept wondering what it was... The Stone makes perfect sense, just think: Guthix used the Stone of Jas to create runes and maybe even life. We know this from several sources, like the Moonclan Manual and Melzar the Mad. It is kind of weird, in the present goblins and gnomes are pretty close to the place that occurs in the past. True true, but anyone that has done the Path of Glouphrie quest (maybe) remembers that Goblins and Gnomes had many battles over the country around current Tree Gnome Village, the lands they were both trying to inhabit. It is said they migrated/traveled from different lands, so further away from the Arandar mountains. P.S. Goblins were taken to Runescape by Bandos, somewhere close to the Third Age/Godwars (AKA long after this quest).

Yep, what we see here is the first 'meet' between Elves and Humans. As said before, this family belongs to the first generation of humans, so the elves don't even know 'em. By the way, judging from what Haluned says, 'We are not alone in this world', makes me think that they haven't even discovered Gnomes, Goblins, Dwarves, Ogres etc., and that we are the first sentient beings they found apart from themselves.

[hide=] Ya they do, but in a recent Post Pete document where the Chaos Elemental wrote back, one of the lines was "A season in quick succession" refering to the latest season quest Spirit of Summer. Chances are this means that we wont have a long wait before the succession of the next season, eg. The next quest in this series, something relating to autumn. Yeah I saw that too (although it was 'Two seasons in quick succession?', but I'm not someone to point that out ;) ). Maybe not something Autumn-related, like Autumn the person, but definitely a sequel! Just because the spirit of summer ment the little girl, the next quest doesn't have to talk about a little girl named autumn. The title can be like "summer's autumn" or "summer's fall". I can only remember one RS dream, maybe I had more, maybe not... It went like this: I was walking through rs (don't remember where exactly), and somehow wandered into the wildy. At some big tower on a great hill I was attacked by pkers and died :!: I respawned in Lumby, ran back, but I could only recover my rune scimmy and plate or something. Then suddenly, the world changed and I was in another gameworld, something I can only describe as Anarchy Online :? I could walk over water and my rune scim changed into a big sword. Weird eh?

I read somewhere on TIF that someone saw stalagmites/cave walls behind the frozen door. Responses said that it could have been just another existing dungeon placed close to GWD tho...
