f2p Range training
I tanked at flesh crawlers 40-60 ranged on f2p. I had 70 defence and they didn't hit me that often. You don't have to click on them, just run away a bit to make them agressive again. You can also shoot a rat and bury the bones which will trigger a random event almost always when you haven't had one in 30+ mins. If it's a teleport random it will make them agressive. Use anchovy pizzas and you can probably stay there until your inv is full of body runes and gems.

what happened
That's not too bad. In Finland we postponed the end of analog TV by several months, although we did start the digital broadcasts on time as I remember and just had a big six year time window for the purchasing of convertor boxes. The shops still ran out of the boxes when everybody started buying them a couple of weeks before the analog broadcasts stopped.

Possible Cure for HIV Discovered
Raven, I'm no scientist, but the bolded parts are what I think your post has problems with: This wouldn't be a problem, but the drug is now loose, uncontained, inside this infected cell. Well, no big deal, right? The cell will just die? Not exactly. The cell will explode, literally, which is a good thing and the viruses, along with the remnants of the drugs, will escape to the extra cellular space. The cell membrane is not a very thick or withstanding structure. It can stop attacks from huge proportional structures and anything else non lipid soluble without its own transport mechanism without bursting, but it itself, on a molecular level, is more important to retain the shape and structure of the cell. It also controls what goes in and out of the cell and is important in signal transmission. The drug, which is now loose in the cytoplasm of your body, will spread to the outside of the membrane, at which point it will be diffused. It's loose in the extra cellular space of the targeted tissue, probably blood in this case. Depending on the extra cellular membrane structure diffusion may or may not happen freely. There is also structures like the fascias that stop matter from going from one part of your body to another. With the diffusion, the drug will be released into the cytoplasm of the cell, proceed to the nucleus, and rapidly mutate the enzymes of the RNA, so that when the cell replicates through mitosis, it will be 100% surefire different and mutated.Covered by the warri0r45 quote. Also, did you mix RNA and DNA in this sentence? If you didn't, you may have disregarded some of the safeguards against mutations present in the replication of a double stranded DNA molecule. On the scale that the drug would be attacking, the HIV virus may or may not be mutated into oblivion, but I think that your cells would be badly mutated to the point that HIV isn't your primary concern. ...and it's also how the zombie apocalypse is going to start. I AM OMEGA MAN! P.S. I did all this logic on my own, tell me if it's wrong. :wall: Other than that: I think people on the forums have concentrated on the impact on western countries too much. In Africa a cheap cure would greatly benefit the economy as most people aren't able to afford the current expensive treatments and die a few years after getting the disease. In developing countries AIDS causes deaths mostly on young people who have either gotten the virus at birth or when they were young and stupid. That way people die after a lot of resources have been put into their education and feeding at the ages between five and 20, before they have benefitted society by working and paying taxes from age 20 to age 50. As for the whole more food thing: People who are HIV positive need more calories and a more varied diet in order to get all the nutrients that they need to protect themselves from dangerous infections. A growing child will need up to twice as many calories and a adult person 10-30% more calories when compared to a person of the same age who isn't HIV positive. I plead you to expand. Let's see, plants require nutrients, water, sunlight, and land. My main argument here is exponential growth. Need I link the two together? You need more land to grow the plants to raise the animals you eat than you need to grow the plants you eat. Adrenal addressed this already, but I don't feel like deleting this. When you're producing meat you're basically wasting a lot of land growing plants that for the most part go towards the animals heat production, bone structuring and other things that are needed for the animal to live. The problem of the nearly exponential growth rate of the human population doesn't change the fact that we would be able to feed a lot more people if we cut the tasty middlemen like cattle and pigs from our food production line. If anything, it would give us more time to introduce education of women and information on birth control and other population growth limiting things to where there are problems. Personal opinions, these are the ones that you can feel free to mock: Unless it's surprisingly easy, HIV won't be cured soon. Medical companies will do anything in their power to stop any cheap, one time drug that replaces the current long term expensive medications from being used. It's a huge business and the companies running it would make an extremely strong lobbying group. Tobacco companies might have failed to keep the health hazards of tobacco obvious to consumers after a couple of decades of fighting, but they didn't have the same types of affiliations to the the medical science community that the medical companies have. It's great that these people are trying, but if they ever come up with anything that really works they'll be facing a war against red tape and regulations as well as bribery. The problem of the high growth rate of the human population has remained unsolved since people first started realizing it when industralization started kicking in. So far we've managed to increase food production to aswer the growth, first with new farm machinery and then with improved breeding methods. Personally I'm not afraid we're going to run out of food unless we run out of water to grow food with. The water, however, will become a problem unless we come up with better ways to transform salt water into fresh water. I'm also going to keep eating beef and fish. If I really wanted improve the situation of those who are currently dying of hunger, I could campaign for different ways to get Finland or the EU to help developing countries. The problem is that if we started removing the blocks on free trade and enabling developing countries to make more refined products through more development aid we couldn't dump our own products there and we couldn't get their natural resources cheap and unrefined. In Finland the traditional lifestyle of the Sami people is also linked to meat production. if everybody went vegetarian it would destry that lifestyle and the flow of tourists that want to explore it with it. In addition to the greed there is the safety problems of enabling completely free trade of things like food products. The biggest block on the free trade of food production is the subsidies paid to food producers. If those were removed nobody would farm anything in Finland as it's much cheaper to just buy all food elsewhere. This would render the whole 350k strong war time military force useless as a simple blockade would force Finland to complete surrender. What is now the scarecely(sp?) populated Finnish countryside would become deserted making it easier to catch us by surprise in the time of war. That was kinda long. That's what she said. Edit: Used an awkward word and had typos

what happened
I'm guessing digital TV broadcasts are going to start or analog broadcasts stop in some country these people are from. Edit: It appears to be the US.

70 Herblore
Simo asked this earlier today, the thread is still on the first page. I'll just copypaste my responce: http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Calculators/Potions Super energy to 69 and then antifire pots is what a lot of people use. I'm guessing super defence and super restore are also good if you don't want to collect your own mort myre fungus like a lot of people do. Fastest: Super strenght -> Super restore -> Super defence -> Extra Strong antipoison -> Antifire potion -> 70 (I'm not sure on how well these sell. The antipoison might be very difficult to sell.) Cost will vary a lot on which price you buy the herbs and secondaries for. Check the GE graphs for good times to buy. The average price for the quick method will be somewhere around 9 gp/exp. ---------------------------------------------------------- So you're no longer fishing either? Grats on 99 afking though, you managed to completely ignore me explaining why I think all pokemon trainers are sick people to everybody in w99 Piscatoris. (You lagged out when I was done so I asked if you missed it, and you just kept fishing.)

I want to subscribe to members AGAIN but....
You can always use the other methods for subscribing, but I'm pretty sure Jagex is going to be happy with your money even if you pay by credit card. It's usually the cheapest way of paying for members. I'm also pretty sure Jagex would like to hear about any mistakes that lead to losing paying customers. Are you sure your credit card isn't about to expire? Anyway [email protected] and the Billing query are good ways of getting to the bottom of the credit card issue. The knowledge base article on credit card payment parts 21 and 22 might also have the info on what's going on. You can always use PayByCash, PayBySMS, PayByPhone or the vouchers sold in shops if you still want to pay without the use of credt cards. Again, [email protected] and the Billing query are good ways to contact Jagex. Like most companies Jagex will be happy to work out a way for you to give your money to them. They will probably also know the safest, quickest and the cheapest methods of paying in the country you live in if your credit card is blocked or you don't want to use it. Edit: If there was such a way then it would be possible to make hacked accounts members again by paying with somebody elses credit card without even seeing the card. So no, there is no way.

try the banned account review thread
the money won't be of anny use becouse you can't transfer gold or items to your main anny more these days. so i think i will just keep the hats. So people who would be ready to transfer money between accounts get theirs back, but Anon70 stays banned? Gf Jagex. -.- Oh well... Any plans for the account? You could get a rare untrimmed cape like constuction with the money from phats.

What should I kill for money?
What? No, that's insane. Green Dragons give the most consistent profit, steel dragons are far inferior. Or you could try soloing General Graardor, if you're not interested in exp. Red dragons become very good at level 127 combat though. The wild dogs in Brimhaven dungeon become unagressive at that level. So if you get there (you didn't post prayer or summoning levels) just place you house in Brimhaven for teleporting and prayer recharge and take your best beast of burden and a dueling ring for teleporting with you.

advice on 99 woodcutting
+1 on the guide, never cut mages unless you're clearing your tree patch. Buy a d axe and go to either the teaks for speed or eucs for gp as the guide suggests. GL on the goal, just don't be mad at yourself if you want to take a break at 85 or 92. 99 wc is about 200-300 hours of listening to chopping sounds depending on the method. Oh and you can introduce yourself on this thread if you want to: viewtopic.php?f=30&t=583381&start=0

Magic & Summoning Spreadsheets *Now includes Enchanting*
-Splitbark armour -Red and blue d'hide vambs -Oh and if they're not there yet, addy/rune axes and picks. The price might crash because merchants have bought many broken axes and picks just in case they become discontinuted. Edit:Links are fixed.

Good place to cook f2p
Al Kharid is great if you never want to open gates and doors or set your own fires. That's what I used when I was f2p.

I died as I wrote this.....
Gl on your race. Are you going to be fishing in w99 Piscatoris too? You should wear the ring of life if the dying bugs you.

The Start of being a member plz help (Btw i am a girl)
Membership offers a lot more content. You get more ways to level your skills, more skills, more quests, more monsters, more equipment, more everything really. That being said, you haven't really played the game much and a lot of members content is geared towards more experienced players. For example cows are currently your best bet for training ranged in both f2p and p2p. You will be using the same equipment and you might feel that you aren't getting your money's worth even if it is just a few CAD a month. As for leveling up your combat skills: Melee the flesh crawlers at the second level of Stronghold of Security (abbreviated SoS). In p2p these are good cash as well, but in f2p they are just good exp. Run one screen away from them in order to make them agressive when they stop attacking you automatically. Magic: Crumble undead on the zombies in Varrock sewers. Just go to where you got the key in Demon Slayer and you'll see them. Superheat ores into bars when you get 43(?). High Alchemy is the best way to train magic in f2p if you find something to alch. Ranged: Range cows for now. At 30 you can switch to Hobgoblins near crafting guild if f2p. I think you can enjoy p2p just fine at below 1k f2p total. Even at 800 f2p total you will probably have a lot of members content available to you levelswise. Off topic: What are you implying?

Exactly 1 Year of membership
1700/1800 ;) Keep getting level ups with the same pace and you'll be maxed out before christmas.

Your Daily Routine
I have a pretty strict routine in my life. Having almost no social life because all of my friends are doing military training makes for some easy time management. Four of the weekdays: 1. Get up at 2.05 am. Drink some sugarfree energy drink. 2. Walk out of the door at 2.10 am. 3. Work from 2.20 to 6-ish am. Come back from work. 4. Eat, shower and browse the web for half an hour. 5. Take a nap. 6. Wake up at 8 am and finish the energy drink while eating some more. 7. Leave for university at 8.30. Read at the library there. Head back at 3 pm. Down another energy drink during the day. Go shopping if needed. 8. Play RS while doing household chores, calculating chemistry/physics and eating some more. 9. Lift some weights (at home) or do abs at 6.30. (Legs if not working the next day.) 10. Stuff some more food items in mouth at 7.00. 11. Suffer from insomnia, not from too much caffeine 7.15-8.00. When I'm not working I just stay up until 9 pm and wake up between five and six. One day a week I play RS for many hours after work and then go play basketball and run for a while. It's my relaxing/aerobic exercise day. At weekends I work and then study at med school entrance exam preparation course 9 am to 3 pm, which makes for a very similar routine to the weekdays one.

An easy money making guide for low levels (and cooking xp )
Yes it still works. You can't slice 28 pineapples at a time and pick the extra slices off the ground any longer though. Apparently it was a bug. With your stats I would buy the plain pizzas from the Warriors guild food store for 200 each. Remember to use mousekeys to add the toppings on pizzas so you don't accidentaly eat anything.

farming help
It's 41 and it doesn't increase herb yield from farming. It increases herb drops and some people like to have it with them on farming runs using the herbcall special move for some extra herbs.

Closed ~ Thanks guys!
I've been getting like 290-320 monks per hour going from 88 to 91 without familiars or pots. I'd say 310 is the average when I'm paying attention, but I'm always doing homework/cooking/ironing my clothes so I sometimes idle for some time before I notice. It's really good for multitasking. You just have to have some wireless headphones so you can hear when you're not fishing and when you get a random. (And you also have to not be stupid enough to leave your mouse next to the iron when ironing -.- )

Scroll Trade in Values
Do you mean Bogrog the ogre who swaps pouches for shards? He is located in Gu'Tanoth and will swap summoning pouches for 70% of the shards used in the creation of the pouch. You will need to have a bit higher level to swap pouches for shards than you need to make the pouches. The Runescape Wiki has a good table for how many shards you'll get from swapping pouches: http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Summoning_pouches

Miss War's Blog: ~~~66 Mining, and my return (last page)~~~

runecrafting
This thread had an okay guide and three pages of good discussion on equipment and different methods for ZMI: viewtopic.php?f=180&t=767262 I craft laws through the abyss. It's pretty fast with good profit, but ZMI is always faster.
