  1. Yeah, but how did we get out before this fancy home tele nonsense? As the first person said, just run and right click on the carts to find the option that lets you climb over.
  2. Way up north near sinclair mansion (murder mystery quest). Bring a tinderbox. Cut, burn, cut burn ad nauseum. It'll take a while, but you'll kill two birds with one stone, you don't lose time on the banking and it allieviates the monotomy.
  3. Use the world map and your mini map, compare the two. Always keep the screen facing north - nothing is likely to attack and surprise you.
  4. I don't think there are many nat runners now - the abbys pretty much killed it. Look on the market place forums - people may advertise for runners there.
  5. Yeah, but it's still a d plate
  6. Herblaw: pay through the nose to buy everything quickly and make the best stuff you can. At your level, avantoes are the way forward. Make fishing potions rather than super energy's, as snape grass is easier to get hold of than fungi. Crafting: The one level shouldn't be too hard. Buy all green d hides you can and craft them. Chaps and Vamps give the same experience per hide, but vamps get more when you high alch them, so stick with vamps. Farming: Trees and bushes. The best ones you can grow, buy around 50 each, a lot of laws and probably a lot of charged glories. Use every patch possible. Might also be useful to buy the final products of lower level farms as well so you can get the farmers to watch your crops. Hunter: This stage is easy, just trap Fieldip Weasels until 19, then Crimson Swifts. Going for a level 7 creature at level 13 seems silly, but the experience you're talking about is minimal, and if you bring 2 bird traps with you, you don't even have to leave the area!
  7. No one's been there while I have. And at least someone else is having problems. Send in a bug report. We're more likely to get something done if a few people report it. I thought it was only me!
  8. I never get enough logs/strings at once to do more than 1k. It bores me too much.

Well, the ultimate cheapness is to just make the rune yourself, then you have a cash to exp ratio of 0:1. Once you've done that, Fire Strike. Goobore above is right, the Mindcrafting run is annoying as heck, so get the max xp per mind you can. A good tip if you're buying runes is to pray that you're on during an update. When that yellow timer comes on, leg it bank and bring as much money as you can, then run to a rune shop. Grab every rune you can afford, as there's lots and they're cheaper than normal ;)
  10. or keep them until you can use them. Then when you gain a new level you get a whole load of potions easy!
  11. If you're a member, make mithril arrows. Then you can use them for range training/slayer training. People always seem to forget that almost everything in RS leads onto do something else. Just because people are buying or selling stuff doesn't mean you should too. If you're non-member, then just smith plates and alch, or sell to alchers. The above rule doesn't work on the unbalanced free game ;)
  12. He likes being no1 in the skill. Could be going for 200M also, I don't know. But to me, this seemed like a long overdue bugfix. I never used this for powermining, nor was I ever going to. Granite is useless, and my guiding light in RS is 'what's useful to me'. I could powermine to 85 and mine rune by all means. But then I'd have to sell the rune, and I'd rather turn it into stuff. So I will continue slaving away at the slow method. And as for the complainers, Jagex will bring out something to revitalise mining eventually. In F2P it's the best money making skill out there, but in P2P it's dead, fletching is far more efficient. So complain all you want for now, but you know that there'll be something new for it soon.
  13. He's a pure. The whole point is that he doesn't have def. Though why he'd bother training slayer with a pure, I have no idea.
  14. Oh right. Teach me to read properly :D Well, as the non-expensive one is the one I use, kill Chaos Druids or Al-Karid Warriors until you have loads (and you're gonna need a k or more) of random herbs. ID them all as you go. Then work out how many secondary items you'll need and go get them. If you're lazy, buy the unicorn horns as those are boring to get unless you risk the black unicorns in the wildy. For limps kill the cockatrice as they drop more often than hill giants and people there for slayer often leave them on the ground. Then make them. Oh, and get vials everywhere you see them. Shops are useful, but often out of stock. I know there's one with 100 waterfilled vials somewhere, but I can't remember right now. While I don't do the expensive version, this is how I imagine it goes: the same as the above, except buy as much as you can afford. Keep the costs down and buy only secondary ingredients, as paying 1k per for 1k unid'd guams is incredibly annoying, I'm sure.
  15. In the Tzhaar area on Karamja. South of the entrance.
  16. Well, how quickly do you want the cape? If you want it before the next quest (i.e. before next Monday) the expensive way is the way to go. If your not too fussed (and like me, think the quest cape is a nice thing to have but arn't going to go terribly out of your way to get it) do the inexpensive method.
  17. Send in a report to Jagex. Probably account recovery would be the best one to try, although bug reporting may be useful. I doubt anything you do will be possible.
  18. I'm just wondering if you're inventory's been reduced or something, coz I can get 9 per load quite easily. With the furnace in Phasmytarius or however it's spelt, it doesn't take long at all. I personally go for the exceptionally slow way - mine it, smelt it, smith it, alch it. Sure, it takes ages, but I find that finally getting my goal after having put all that effort in to be more 'worth it' than buying a level.
  19. No one have an idea? Bug report has been sent into Jagex, but haven't seen a change.
  20. I was on a break from the game then, and I've moved all around the area that says it's still steaming. Nothing. it's not that I'm just not getting a reward through bad luck or anything, as the key's location hasn't changed.
  21. I don't think they've updated them yet, it was mentioned that it would be coming with the quest. But the wallpapers are available, and look cool. One thing I don't like with the new quest list is that they've moved all the ones beginning with 'The' to the T's, rather than arranging them depending on the second word (eg The Eyes of Glouphrie in E).
  22. The new in-game skill guides are quite cool as well. Very scroll-y parchment-y type stuff. Quite nice. But you can't examine the items anymore.
  23. I'm doing the treasure hunt for the Mjolner's or however you spell them, and my enchanted key isn't working properly. I'm in the spot in Lumbridge swamps, when I click the key it says it's steaming and right under my feet, when I dig, I get the message "Nothing interesting happens." I don't think that's even the default message for digging with a spade, so I'm not quite sure what's going on. I've already dug up three spots, and got the Sara spear without any problems. How do I make my key/spade work?
  24. To be honest, I don't want the quest cape. It's an ultimate goal, and I'd quite like it, but having those few reds and yellows in my quest list (only about 12 left) gives me something to aim for. Once I get 65 smithing and do Devious minds (which will probably happen last) i'm not sure what I'd do - my training goals would suddenly become just 'for the level' rather than 'so I can do the quest'. And I don't like the sound of that...
  25. An incredibly dull person?
