I find this statement quite interesting - 'Respawn times will be faster'. Are they suggesting that this will only be on the Monday? As we all know respawn times are 'usually' based on world populations, are they intimating that the world populations will be alot lower & therefore be detrimental to the non-botting element of their customer base? I for one would delighted if they have taken the pro-active step to ensure we are not kept hanging around for XYZ to spawn because the world that previously had 1800 people now only operates with 500. Lets wait & see

Unfermented wine
I'd thought about doing this myself & can confirm that as long as you keep adding un-fermented wines to the ones you have already banked they will not ferment. That being said, the largest number of wines I managed to get was just over 2k before I got randomed - this will then cause all the wines in bank to ferment & if you time it wrong (ie before bxpw starts) you would miss out on the bonus xp. I might do 500 or so & log out before the bxpw starts.

If it helps, I have data from my last 1675 Tasks, all from Kuradal (or Duradal / Lapalok before Kuradal came out). Regrettably, It's only Charm Data & Major drops. Its in Excel format so probably won't be much good to you. Question for those with HIGH level slayer
1756 tasks since Smoking Kills was released. Now have 34,149,575 XP Out of interest, I was 82 Slayer when Smoking Kills was introduced.

Methods for killing bots:
Jagex should introduce a Lesser Demon spawn that can be lured on Karamja - would make it easier to kill the bots :D Scorpions just don't hit hard enough!! The Lvl 3 skillers who aren't botting will quite easily be able to avoid the 'aggressive monster', however, the bots will take a while to adjust - more likely they will become combat bots until the demon's auto aggressiveness is counteracted. In the meantime we could have some fun :D

Summon underwater?
How did I manage to do this? I was killing Rum 'Pumped' Crabs last night for something to do - I certainly didn't take Pack yak with me & I didn't have pouch with me when I entered underwater dungeon, yet when I log on today I find I have a Pack Yak with 5 minutes remaining !! It was my understanding that you couldn't use familiars in this dungeon? Have I missed some sort of roll-back & have managed to log back in when the server thinks I had a Yak summoned? Now I wish I had some scrolls to bank the blades :D

Torstol droppers.
cave horrors abby specs and daggys do drop them but nechs have a much better drop rate unless its been changed. While going for 99 slayer i was getting anywhere from 3-9 torstol seeds a nech task I'll just add that this wasn't my experience at all. From what I remember I got maybe one seed every four or so nech tasks. They were really rare. +1 In 32.5m Slayer Xp I have never had more than 1 Torstol seed drop in a Nech task, personally I think 1 seed in 4 tasks is on the generous side - they are that rare. That being said, Nech's are still the most likely monster to drop seeds. I wouldn't be surprised if the previous poster got mixed up with Toadflax seeds, which are a common drop.

Are you ready for new high level Slayer content?
There is now no reason for Jagex to keep the level for Slayer at 99 - why not do a 'Dungeoneering' & increase the Cap to 120. Higher Slayer levels do not add to your overall Combat level & as such will not affect things such as PVP etc. Increasing the Slayer level cap to 120 would allow Jagex to be more flexible with the 'high level' monsters they introduce & therefore specific slayer rewards that are dropped. The Kuradal dungeon has been a success, as have Strykewyrms, in respect that they do not allow campers - this theme should be continued. Maybe add an extension to Kuradal's dungeon to facilitate the introduction of new monsters. With regards to drops, I agree with the above poster who suggested that a new weapon be introduced that is comparable to rapier for those individuals that enjoy Slaying but dislike (or don't partake in) Dungeoneering (I'm sure Farmer Moe would be keen on this!!). What they could do is introduce weapon add-on's that enhance the ability of the existing weapon range such as :- - 'Go-Faster Blades' - can be added to Godswords making the weapon speed as fast as whip. Whilst attached to weapon it becomes non-tradeable. Can be removed in same way as the armour kits. This would bring new life back into the Godsword market & potentially provide a viable alternative weapon. - 'Sword poison' - allowing all melee weapons to be poisoned - the poison would hit harder & faster - 'New Abyssal Armour' - Full set dropped in individual parts by various new 'Abyssal' monsters - the set would become the ultimate hybrid armour. Finally, the new monsters should have an elite Clue drop rate comparable to 'Hard' clues at the moment. I'm sure more will come to me.

Oh how I wish I hadn't sold my extra Ceremonial pieces - just 1 spare set of legs left. Might be worth my while camping there for a bit :) Bit of a shame about the Strykewyrms - had hoped for a 97+ slayer monster (or even Slayer being given the 120 level cap & these became a lvl 100 slayer monster) :D

How impossibly rare are PVP items now?
I've killed about 300 and had moderate success (ancient from a rev knight, zuriels top from somethign else, a few lower artifacts.) What I do is, take about 5 forinthry braces, use one charge per knight which usually kills it. I then go clockwise around the west half of the cave, killing the pyrefiend, icefiend, goblin, imp, werewolf, hellhound, and vampire (which I can tank in prossy with ss on,) then start all over again with a forinthry charge on the knight. Although I do agree the drops are slightly too rare, I think a better choice in fixing it would be to add better COMMON drops to the rev droptable, instead of just coins. I agree with the OP - I've killed well over 300 Rev's (mainly the Dark Beast, Orc, Cyclops, Goblin & Pyrefiend circuit) & have only managed to come away with 1 Corrupt Dragon Shield drop - did manage to get a rune long as well !! Good tip about using the forinthry bracelets on knights - I'll give this a go & if killing the higher lvl's is any better. On a different note about the Rev Dung, who else feels it should be single combat? I'm getting fed up with the noob Clan rushers who think it's funny to piss somebody off. It's not like any of us are actually risking much - there are better ways to earn money !!

Is it me, or are the Karamja grave snipers now more annoying than the bots themselves? & don't get me started on the scorpion killers!!!

Extremes in New Wildy
In my view, I've spent the time training Herblore & spent the cash on it I damn well want to use the advantage it 'may' give me. The argument about the 'boosts' not be visible is rubbish - what happens when the person you are fighting suddenly swaps their full armour & weapon from their inventory - you couldn't see that when you started the fight!!

Ancient Mages - Slayer Task
I've just got Spiritual mages as a Slayer Task & though may as well kill Ancient Mages this time - would have expected the kills to be 15% faster. Anyway, geared up & started killing when after a few kills noticed my Slayer Xp hadn't moved!! I would have assumed that the Ancient mages should have been classed as 'Spiritual Mages' the same as all the other 'God' Mages. Any thoughts as to why these don't qualify or discuss reasons why Jagex has chosen them not to qualify for a Spiritual Mage Slayer task.

Killing ancient mages
Your gear would work fine - change the ring though to berserker or better if you are meleeing. I wear Neitz helm, Arma Plate, Bandos Legs, DFS, Nomad cape, Dragon boots, Sara Arrow, Fury & Berserker ring - Mages are the only aggressive monsters with that set up When getting the pieces I would certainly suggest wearing 1 item of each god armour - don't forget you get the drops in their actual encampments, so need to bring hammer & grapple. You can easily do in 1 trip. Once you have the key parts tele home to gear up. As mentioned previously bank your key with Yak or imp box as soon as you get in to ensure you can get back into area if killed :) You can only get to bank when you have 40 KC - you can't then go back through to Ancient encampment.

What would you say is the average drop rate for them? I've killed around 200 and so far nothing. =S I've now killed 864 Ancient mages & have received 9 drops. I didn't get my 1st drop until just under 300 kills, then they just started to flow.

"A Day at the Mages"
The Mages are fairly straight forward to kill, mage pray is necessary on them at all times & they do still freeze & poison you. The main thing you need to do is ensure that you are wearing sufficient gear to ensure you are not attacked by the Archers, Knights & Reavers - that way you can do a 3 mage rotation without being attacked by anything else.
