Any idea why when putting 1 ship back to Arc voyages the time goes from estimated 21 minutes to 25+ despite having a ship with 3k+ speed? When I manage to get a Engineer on the 4.41 Voyages the time drops to 3.28, surely by this reasoning the Arc voyages should be taking me less than 15 minutes?

LOL, just logged in to get prepared for the event & find it is actually on tomorrow morning !!!

Perfect time for me. I'll be there - may be wearing non-degradable welfare mage gear until I get the hang of things. EOC is still a mystery to me - I didn't bother with BETA expect to get the Mad Scientist outfit (where is that btw !!). Hopefully quite a few of us can make it. Even more hopefull that someone will be able to give me an idiots guide to the suggested Abilities before the event starts !!

217 Dagganoth Task - anyone know if the combat mechanic for DK's remains same in EOC? if so, I'll do the task, if not i'll skip.

You were hacked - I reported you yesterday for spam botting the '8bn Youtube giveaway' at the north west GE. Unless of course that was you after you recovered !!

Maybe they didn't fix it because it wasn't a realistic option at that point. It's the weekend, so most of them aren't working, and what if it's just too complicated to fix in that short period of time? @ Above: what makes you think they knew? Your attitude reminds me of the attitude of OP: somethings wrong with RS, obviously Jagex is deliberately screwing over their game. Jagex is not going to screw over their game just for the sake of pissing off players. I know there's all sorts of rage towards Jagex, but please keep it reasonable and plausible. If you had read through the whole thread you will notice a post from me sympathising with Jagex in respect that they do a good job (most of the time) in very trying circumstances. My original post has been misinterpreted (like much on these forums) - I was merely voicing an opinion (with added sarcasm) that there was no lag leading up to the 'delayed' launch of BXP & as soon as it started it was a lag-fest, with no initial change in world populations.

The main issue I've had with the lagg is the game tick appears to have been delayed. People have reported both Dung & Castle War games taking far longer that the game timer suggested. The knock on effect of this is 4 out of 5 of my 2nd run of Fruit Trees still haven't grown - at last count that was 32 hours !!

Of course it wouldn't surprise you, you're on the lookout for something to complain about and someone to blame. Actually, If you follow the threads I respond to I very rarely criticise Jagex, given in the main they do a good job in trying circumstances whereby they cannot please everyone. On this occaision I found it very surprising to be working fine up to 1pm & then 'Bang' the infamous 2 step start stop walking routine.

Just a thought, I was fine until the BXP started & now lagging like hell. World populations haven't changed dramatically, so can't blame that. Have Jagex added lag to slow down XP gains - nothing would surprise me!! What I mean by 'adding lag' is they haven't appreciated the vast numbers of players taking advantage of this BXP weekend & their servers have been unable to cope at the usual speeds, which is slightly short-sighted ! Any thoughts?

I'll be there - always enjoy destroying the KBD. Maul also works very well here, for those who can use Super Anti-fires, although if there are more than 10 of us it will die in 1 go anyway !!

Finally, after 12162 Iron Dragons (since I started counting tasks) this little baby drops.

Not a bad 7 minutes work - shame the whips are worthless.

Also, make sure you bank the Frozen Key in the 1st lobby area (by Yak scroll or Imp box). This will save you a load of pain if you get a lag death whilst running through the KC room. It is possible to get all the key pieces & get back to your grave (as long as it has been blessed) but who needs that hassle !!

My longest Event yet - had 30 minutes off to grab pizza, but was there all the way through. Missed the Hilt due to lag dieing when Zil used me as target practice :( Made sure all graves were blessed at end so no-one lost anything.

The only creatures worth doing down there are the Ganodermic Beasts - 95 Slayer required. I don't think you have the option to block the indiviual creatures (unless that has changed) & therefore I would skip these when they come up rather than wasting a 'Block' as they are not that common a task.

I got DDosed for the 1st time at Bandos last week by some guy from Eastern Europe. I stupidly joined a Skype call not realising this was how they destroyed my connection. I had the last laugh though, managed to get back to unblessed grave & pick up all my gear (lost Yak stuff) & they DDosed me again, I once again got back to grave in time & grabbed stuff and tele'd straight away. All they got were a few pots. My moral of story, never Skype with anyone you don't know or trust !! This leads me onto another point. I'd much rather MH with Tif'ers than randoms from Forums, can we set up a sub-forum under TMHT where you can advertise for MH teams?
