Yeah, I mean, might as well allow coins. Or here's an idea: if someone wields, for example Zamorak armor or rune (g) armor, the other guy will only get plain rune armor as the loot. And so on.
  2. $7 for a million? It's $6 for RS membership and it takes a few days to make a million. Way too expensive. The cheat sites are doing it right to a bigger extent.
  3. Considering they were fighting against RWT so damn much, I'd find it stupid that they'd suddenly introduce it themselves. Would also give the real RWT a bucketful of cold water in the face - "WAKE UP! IT'S RWT TIME!"
  4. Must be a long time. I had 2.0 blackmarks for way more than a year, then I got 3.4 for a joke recently. Obviously no degradation since then.
  5. Then what was Orange Mod's topic? You wouldn't jump in there with this complaint though, would you? I was under the impression spam is something repeated anyways. Do I see two of this topic? No, I think I'm sober.
  6. When I was a first-timer, I didn't look for a FOG world, I just waltzed in one. There was nobody, but I could enter the waiting room, and there was even a "not enough players" display. Seems pretty certain that FOG can be played everywhere. Also, I find it funny that viagra-advertising bots get banned but the Omali-likes don't. Clearly the latter is way worse; the bots can at least confine themselves to their OWN topic.

"2" instead of to/too is not a spelling mistake, it's idiot-speak. And really, RWT is almost as strong as before, it's just that they have to think of something new every so often. Finally, Jagex will make the game completely unenjoyable, to the point where servers will be empty - that's when RWT will finally stop.

Oh, I don't know. Runite is useless and hardly brings in profit, and nobody cares about a skill cape that "requires" "no life" to get. Answer: there is no point leveling mining to 99. There is no point leveling almost any other skill to 99 either - other than RC, most skills I can think of stop at lvl96 AT THE LATEST. 99 is for respect, okay? Also, I'd really like to see more valid suggestions to rejuvenate mining. I can't think of any, and if I'll ever get the determination to powermine to 85, then I'll enjoy it even more than now.
  9. You see this is the type of thing that I am talking about. Would it have hurt you to have actually made a comment. Yes, I understand that I could have not wasted my time with the topic. However, your comment is nothing more than a symbol of a person trying to increase their post count. I honestly, do not care at all about post count. There is nothing more needed to say don't look at it. No one is forcing you at all. Summing that all up: Alt+F4, CTRL+W, 50 Ton piano on top of computer. no u?!!!?!?!1!! Thing is, you aren't forced to look at it. If you have some sickness, let's sum it up: knife in hand, raise to level with left eye, stab, move to right eye, repeat.
  10. Is it just my brain that's too sex-oriented or...? Ok, so that was spam but still
  11. Right. Many of the people I play are exactly the ones I am ranting about, and they just stand in the center like lambs to the slaughter. However I too did encounter a few of those who ran around the rock, and tried the tactic once or twice against low levels or low-skilled opponents. I find that it is easy to fail at this tactic, so it's not entirely good. On the other hand, whatever you consider runners, however annoying they are, it doesn't justify verbally raping your opponent before, in or after a game. (There's one good thing to it: two times I've faced the same enemy twice, after each other. Both were the loathsome kind I'm ranting about. Both forfeited immediately. Yay for free tokens!)
  12. Actually... as long as I can get paired with lower levels as much as higher levels, given an equal amount of lowers and highers, I don't care about that. I've lost to lowers and won against highers enough. We need an IQ-test.
  13. Bleep bleep! Lockban please?
  14. No, you troll around for the heck of it.
  15. Right after I made the new, polished post neither of your replies were there. Nice timing! :P
  16. Call this an edit, I'm posting a new one because I want to see the OP without having to press Back all the time. 1. "Play to win, scrubs" - a bit vague, but it must be about a game where the objective is to win - a minigame, perhaps? But THIS was the reason I made that topic title. The second one, I agree with, but from the third one I think you'll have a general idea about what you'll be reading. 2. I find that there is a difference between repeated GD topics and repeated rants. A repeated rant can still contain different stuff. As for that "RSC crybabies" thing, this is the first time I have ever seen a moderator defend ANY ranter. For the most part I see them just going all "Locked!!! You're doing it wrong". 3. OK, I'll try to articulate. Even more than before. 4. Please point out any grammatical errors that even a non-native English speaker is always expected to avoid. 5. Make a worse topic if you want to be flamed. ^^
  17. So I should get over it,and stop defending get over it...Not confusing all.Following that, have you seen the two posts over Sumpta's?I'd hardly say those are intelligent. That's more for debate club.As for that last line.If you dislike our replies its just as open.Unless its an etheral door only I can pass  . You say that, yet you dismiss Ratchet's thread as bad for lack of a tl;dr...And the funny thing is,should we ever rant about repeating rants (which some one has,a newer one...he was flamed as openly as this.) we get the same stupid things.Wanna see? We'll be back when this dies down and we'll show you... If you can find a post outside of this thread I have spouted a glorified GTFO I shall bow down and abdicate this, but until then my opinion is mine. 1. It was a bit of overused sarcasm about "get over it." 2. Those two posts? No, I failed to notice them  The second is sort of good irony though. Mrmyk locked a topic for "This is for your RuneScape frustrations" (false). 3. At least it still contained my opinion (too long), so while it was a stupid post indeed, it was still better than some other people's posts. Not everyone can or will always make, or try to make intelligent posts, but this is not the "not always" category. 4. Sure, show me. I'm not saying people who post stupid stuff to your topics are better than these "get over it" people. 5. Okay, I'll search around a bit.
  18. So is this rude to you? And your post was not rude? After all these flamers we need a bit of humor...
  19. The difference between these situations and the Tip.it forum situation is that you can avoid the latter since it doesn't (shouldn't) affect you really.
  20. Wasn't it the other way around?
  21. "Get over it" is sometimes a normal reaction to a wildly accusing, incoherent, silly, downright aggressive and/or crybaby rant. Granted, I can get awfully annoyed by the people who can contribute nothing better than "get over it", but the fault does not lie solely with them. "You f-ing moron, jump off a cliff after cutting off your you-know-what" can also be a normal reaction to these rants. Assuming you to be mentally sane, will you post this on the forum? I don't think so. The only difference between the two is that one of these will get you a warning by one of the numerous mods here, and the other is just simple old stupid. The fault does not lie solely with them? Sorry, my fault that I want to rant! I do think it does. It's all about self control. Let's take an example. Topic title: omg i h8 jagex Content: jagex rly falied nao i h8 stupid tr8d limt remoev it!!!!1! Is it (in theory*) allowed in the rants forum, looking at the board rules? Yes. Is it allowed in the rants forum, looking at the content? Yes. Therefore, Is it eligible for a "get over it" and/or "stop whining" response? NO. Will you think this person is an idiot, or that this is a poor rant? Yes - but this is irrelevant at this point. And then god forbid thinking about a rant with good grammar, good or neutral content etc. They still get abused. *The mods are often pretty haywire here. That's why this had to go here.
  22. If you've no sensible input, you are not required to post something. Though why do I bother, you lost your credibility with your last line anyways.
  23. Well, here is the thing, Fairness. Although I may agree with some of Dragoonson, I don't name call. I respect your opinion, as you should respect mine. The only issue that I have is that since I don't agree with every rant, this moderator seems to think that I don't have a right to express my opinion. I have equal right to express my opinion. I don't just say one line; I try to offer a different perspective. I enjoy reading the rants even the ones that I have read over and over again. I enjoy going to the debate club; the only problem is you get the better arguments in the rants section. I don't bash anyone. I don't name call. I just engage in harmless debate. I don't take offense to anyone's viewpoint and neither should any of you. "Dragoonson&co." doesn't include you, as you aren't involved in this "get over it" thing. It's not even the fact that you don't agree with every rant; in case you haven't read the OP fully, this thread is about those who just go in a thread, say "get over it" and lurk more. Mr. Moderator and a lot of other people hate this, and that's why this rant was created. Your posts don't seem to say anything about this issue. "Dragoonson&co." doesn't actually give a flying rat's arse about what exactly a targeted rant contains: as long as they don't like it, they post the same lines as the OP contained. They don't offer viewpoints, they just spout a glorified GTFO. See the difference? And the funny thing is, none of "Dragoonson&co." are actually defending the "get over it" mania, they are trying to avoid the point and say how "we've seen this rant before". Okay, no clicky @ topic pleez?!
  24. Abusing the chat box is dishonorable legal? Legal, my face! Reportable under offensive language, and as a hunter I frequently stop to report one or two if I smell an easy game. You can take your leet FoG tactics elsewhere, spammers, we want to play normally kthx. I also win a lot of my games. My personal motto in FoG: "Go in the middle when he's not expecting it." When I go in a portal chamber, most people run away to the other side of the map - it's surprising to see how many people don't know I can simply walk out and charge up at the fist. And about FoG, the strange thing is: there are more high-level idiots than low-level ones. Last time I beat a level 110-ish (he just tanked in the center, put on protect from melee and probably went AFK; I used newby earth blast and soon he died'd - with hardly any charges to my 1100-something), he went up to me after the match and started deforming my chatbox contents. I was like "Enjoy your ban". Low levels seem not to lament about their losses so much, and I get no more losses to high levels than to low levels. As to the morons who think of FoG as a mage training place: there is a whole area named after its purpose, and the free runes are not there so that you can level up. This is one of the only cases where I'll purposefully try to hide under big fat stacks of other people.
