Okay, so everyone else says that WCing > mining because you can AFK WCing better. For me, it's the exact opposite. I can concentrate more on mining and thus can endure it longer because it forces me to pay attention. Whenever I'm walking from guild to bank, for example, I may go on a forum, but while mining I have to watch there. With AFK-able skills I usually give up in short order.

If we count only bots, not the RWT that ensued, bots = RuneScape heaven. Low, low prices for some stuff, yet you could still make money in certain skills or with certain methods that bots didn't affect, or just to a lesser extent *coughminingcough*. The problem here is that everyone just thinks of them as bad because they were a tool for RWT. I see this topic as a discussion of whether bots themselves were good... with little to no RWT involved... in which case I must say that bots rocked. I hope I don't see anything wrong.

For point 3, the ring gives 50% energy back for each charge. I usually blast it off against better FoG players, FoG being the best and only good thing left in F2P RuneScape (and F2P is the best thing left in RuneScape with the removal of pking, but let's not incite another flamewar here). I actually think the Lumby diary is kinda good for F2P, with the free alchs, the tele and stuff. Anyway, F2P doesn't "deserve" any updates at all by definition, but if we ignore the definition, Jagex made us the free game, then they should keep it up as well. But after all, Jagex decides how much will profit them and not cut into their profit instead.

May I comment? Other than thinking it was a stupid idea to play along with that DAMN RISKY scam, for this part - what's blocking you from becoming a member, for a short while anyway? You could spend $6 for this month, sell your members stuff and for one months' membership you get to keep your account and gold from the stuff to boot.

I really don't get this thing about phats, how people are selling them like mad. Party hats will never go below "you are filthy rich" value as long as they remain discontinued rares and as long as they're still being sold at all (which they are - and they'll be even more sold when the price drops) so those few 10 million gold pieces should not be that much of a bother in theory. Unless you're going for 99 prayer or herblore by buying it all, which requires more than a phat is worth AFAIK.

I know! The introduction of crayfish is a step to removing shrimps from RuneScape! The shrimp buyers are looking to stock up on shrimps, hoping that Jagex will forget to remove shrimps from player inventories/banks, and therefore shrimps will become discontinued rares! *buys shrimps*

And of course, a relatively fragile bronze armor will last for damn eternity, even when bashed upon continuously by said sword. :roll:

Ehh... In Soviet Russia, RuneScape plays you. For all I care, people can no-life however much they want. I can actually respect someone solely for their attention span - i.e. if they got a very boring 99 in an exceptionally short time. But for me, I don't care about how others are no-lifing. As for my definition of it - you don't do other things in life, only RS. Which, I think, is fine as long as it's only your problem and as long as you don't completely ruin your life with it (school skipping, suicide etc.)

All of the cool people (pkers) have quit, and most of the players nowadays are 12 year olds whose grammar skills are worse than the average immigrant working at your local 7/11.
