Well, once some guy attacked me in the wildy while I was semi-1-iteming (I wore hard and soft leather just to wear something) and I killed him. He dropped a rune scimmy. So he said it was all he had and he'd rebuy it for 10k... I said no :P So he said he'll add a rune pick to the 10k. I "grudgingly" accepted, but was happy since I gained about 15-17k :P I felt a bit bad after that not to inform him about the prices, but then again, he offered it, not me.

If you see me pking, bring a phat and a steel scimmy, then skull on me. In all seriousness I can manage, my tip is that the best spot in F2p to both train and bank (on) willows is the one east of Port Sarim, and NOT the one near the fishing spot. (Unless it's the morning and it's not very crowded.)

Spooferfish: I think it should remain the same. That is what makes mining a unique skill. So no, let's NOT compare it to fishing. (I think supply would increase a lot if it was like fishing tbh) 25leaf: To your 2nd point, I thought of this, in the guild, many coal rocks remain unmined for quite a bit before someone attempts to mine them, because there is so many and everyone is still trying to mine other rocks. Well, it seems I didn't make a good point tho... :cry:

Smarter scammers usually don't speak and don't complete a trade unless the other one did get scammed. Still, I find it strange how these scammers can effectively scam if they are, say, selling a rune scimmy for 10k and switch it to iron. About a 10k win each time they succeed, except that they don't succeed often enough to be worth it.

Well, now the new mania is "lagex i wunt droagn pix plz" on the RS OF, but I was thinking about this. Wouldn't mining become easier with its introduction? Of course it would! Someone would first buy one and mass-mine stuff. There would be a load of, say, Coal in RS, which would first fetch a nice profit but then it would decrease prices as the supply would be darn high. Is there anything true in this little thought? Tell me if I'm a noob at this.

The worst skill of mine is Firemaking, even if it was 99, since I'm f2p. No, really, Ranged and Runecrafting, two skills I don't like training, tie for the level 22 skill.

They seem to be selling most items at 1M gp for 10$. They are selling lots of items from a bronze pickaxe at 0.05$ to christmas crackers at 9000$ :ohnoes: It's not that I want to encourage this, but that is a good RL price for a cracker :D

Maybe Jagex won`t ban him simply because of that... it was too easy for the scammee to recognise it to be actually a scam, they might think.

I'm sorry, but if something has a fancy name, you may want to check a price guide for it... I pity you, helping strangers in RS is just not worth it. They will forget pretty soon.

TC, it's harder for me to do that since I have no rubber chicken and thus no guaranteed way of not 1-hitting the mugger... I think. A good way is to offer a Teleother spell to them, that freezes them. Only works if they have accept aid on tho, but autoers often don't bother with that.

My newcomer map, and especially my black dagger didn't leave me for a long time. I bought it from my extremely tiny sparings and thought this is gonna rock. Well, it was quite a bit better than the iron axe I used before, but still. As for you, Gildogg, that's kinda how I got my Rune Axe which I still use. Buy an axe head for 2k (someone must have thought this is useless and tried to rip people off... he did it to himself :P) after finding an axe handle. Nowadays I bank all (pick) axe handles in hopes of finding rune heads. EDIT: Are you sure it was 10? I thought that you could only post 3 spam messages, the next has to be relevant or you could be reported.
