If you complete Tarn's Lair and use his diary on the amulet, you get +20% attack and strength on the undead, even when not on task, making it better than black mask. Yeah if you do the minigame which takes about an extra 10-15 minutes it will be +20% which works on all undead monsters. This includes aberrants which you cant exactly wear black mask for. (Of course if you really want to wear mask make sure to invite me). Killing aberrant specters without the nosepeg is possible.(.if you master the safespot)yes, there IS one.

Are you going to use guthans? And try using a verac helm, archer ring, fury/god stole, ranger boots if you have the money for it

Not sure if you're gonna make it, maybe you need more sup restore/ppots, and a god cloak is better because of the prayer bonus
