Lulz what a topic Anyway, seeing as zombies are supposed to be braindead? and thrive on a lust for BRAAAAIIIINNZZZZ. I think I'll rewatch every halloween episode of The Simpsons. But as for plans itself. Loot all houses in my neighboorhood for food, and try to make my house as much a fortress as I can. In the meanwhile breading wild bores to feed on zombies (iz they tastey?). Weapons=> toolshed. To list a few: Bicycle chains. Chainsaw. Tool Leprachaun. some nasty chemicals i think i could brew some good anti-zombiepotions out of. Empty glass bottles+gasoline+ nails+fuse= molotovvvv. Wooden stakes (you never know when they mutate and become weak to wood). My mom's kitchen is basically an complete anti-zombieplace^^ Too much fantasy. ~Prozac~

Finished my first final today, social and development psychology. Weird exam, thought I would fail it, but i might be ok=) 8 more to go: criminology, social work research (sux), social economy, psychopathology, methods of social advising, and communication & conversation skills. Well Aura, the way I prepare for an exam is usually by being way too relaxed the days before an exam, thinking i have plenty of time to study And then rush everything the last day/morning b4 the exam >.< I have an exam this afternoon, social psychology, and i still have a [bleep]load to do. good read, although the first one looks like a bit of a rant:p My opinion on it is that godswords are a bad move on the part of jagex, because 1 they are so powerful they can (almost?) 1-hit KO someone, and i don't think weapons should do that no matter what 2 some ppl, idk how many, just keep wanting more and more. like with the g mace, it was only for lower lvl's cuz it doesn't hit higher then older weapons? These 2 combined is dangerous in my eyes, because eventually if jagex wants to make players happy (and they say they do) then they would have to make even more weapons that are even more powerful. As for the quests. I have my quest cape, but i do enjoy lower quests with a funny storyline more then the harder ones. cold war being my favourite (durrrrr) And btw, i'm not trying to flame jagex like RSOF ranters do. Interesting and fun read. I'm not very good at economics, but I do have my opinion about all the merchanting going on now. It's in my eyes plainly stupid, and ni a way abusing the way the G.E. price fluxuations work. Secondly I see the merchanting clans as semi-scams. Good profits are promised, but often only to the clan leaders and a lucky few. Since I never merch'ed before, and never will in the future, this is just the way I see it. Although the topic itself was about destroying rs economy? Well in my eyes it can't be destroyed, but it can get very very unhealthy. To me and many others, macro'ers and RWT'ing was a real pest. Real life money came in the rs economy as an extra current... Well I don't know what to call it. Just giving it as i think it. ~Prozac~

Are brutal arrows better then ogre arrows? I read that someone pointed out you can buy the ogre arrows now for 25ea... So basically, would it be worth making brutals? ~Xpro~

Those roots have nothing to do with your earth staff. It's part of the new Diversion and Distraction: The Evil Tree I'm not going to explain all of it, the guide is on tip.it itself. But whenever those roots pop up it means that an evil tree is nearby. ~Prozac~

Ehh, how much money did you have in there when you got this? You do know that to get an decent amount of profit you need over 750k in there right?

I have it combined. Out of the 15 'points' I have 8 on flax, and 7 on maples. Each item in MTK has it's price (see tip.it guide on MTK). Flax is worth 40gp or something in MTK, but 75+ on the G.E! If I would collect my coffers daily at 100%, I always get: 1000 flax , 625 maples, 6 bird's nests (seeds,rings,eggs), and1 or 2 herblore seeds. - I sell the flax, already giving me my money back that I invested. (75K+ for that day) - Maples have excellent use for firemaking or free fletching (selling the unstrung longbows might even give some profit). - Loot the nests for a good seed now and then, but expect to get alot of acorns, banana seeds and apple seeds. The nests used to be quite decent in price, but have gone down to about 1700ea. Seeds can be used for farming, or selling for max profit. Rings can be enchanted and sold/used/alched. (I high alch my sapph rings, i keep my gold rings for summoning, I enchant and sell my emerald rings, and the ruby rings are often a game of ienie miene miney moe) - the extra herblore seeds are mostly not worth much, it's just hoping for a ranarr or snapdragon seed. If I sell everything I average around 125k daily, but depending on the seeds I get it could go up to 300K For a minigame that only requires your attention a few minutes each day, this is definitely worth it! Also the Fremminik Sea Boots give you the option of gathering your approval rating much faster, I'ld really suggest using this if you haven't been in some time. *I hope the information comes in handy, it's pretty accurate* ~Prozac~

Hmm, i was about to type a reply when i read the last few posts... You've written this entire rant without trying a black mask? (so without actually using the benefits from slayer to train combat?) Also you say that slayer tasks is bad xp and bad money... Can i ask you how much money you are trying to make?what expectations do you have in the first place? Could you also like give a list of tasks you don't like and why? or why you think they're not profitable? because if i think of typical slayer tasks like abberant spectres, bloodvelds, spiritual mages, horrors... and i'm forgetting a bunch i think, but you can't really say that they're not worth to kill. In my opinion that is. I don't know what you expect of a skill like slayer? to have it become something like for instance Soul Wars, or Stealing Creation? Even though those are minigames and not skills. For me they seem to make the entire game of runescape alot alot easier and cheaper (IMO even too easy), and it's not what I would like to see slayer becoming. Slayer to me is a skill like more should follow. -A challenge, something i think is important in this game. To be challenged to go fight beasties you would normally never fight (sometimes leading to deadly situaties, but that's fun, isn't it?) -It offers variation in training other skills (combat ofcourse) -I think this is a skill that gives variation to even the high, high lvls in training. -It isn't an easy skill, but it doesn't make me say that it 'sucks'... - Slayer gives profit if you know the way to do it... Exploiting the benefits like the slayer helm, BTP-tabs for easy and cheap food, cannons, summoning, and multicombat slayer dungeons,, can really make slayer into a skill that is 'worth it' Even though I'm only 71 slayer,I see more fun and profit in it appearantly then you do. Possibly that is because of the slayer mask/helm. Oh on one last note... What you wrote about ranging and such, about it not giving good xp and not being worth it and such... Why don't you just do your tasks the melee way, or the fastest way, which leaves more time to range zombie monkeys or whatever you want to do? ~Prozac~ EDIT: typo's

I've done another attempt to START roving elves... The 2 quest start points are messing with me, because there's nobody to talk to there... I'm at the one place right now with the fire (northern start point) for close to 15 minutes... So what am I doing wrong? The quest guide says it changes bout every 5 minutes, and at first when the elves weren't at the fireplace spot, i went to the other starting point, but couldn't find them there either, so i went back to the northern one, can't find anyone... I got 250 quest points so not really an unexperienced quester... any help plz?

I hate the UN. It's an absolutely absurd organization the most they ever seem to do is "condemn" someones invasion. Pointless organization. On top of that "giving land for peace " is insanity. Hitler asked for the same thing he said to Neville Chamberlain that if he could have the Sudetenland he would stop, did he?.. See how history repeats itself? There will never be peace untill the Christ returns. Most that can ever be achieved is a cease-fire. There is one other option:p Nuke= Boom But that would lead into world war 3 and total annihilation (Even george bush as nobel peace prize winner is more realistic then this) Cease fire won't stand. I'm Belgian, and we pay about 40% of our wages in taxes and social security, but we are ensured that we get our social security.Even we are facing problems, because Belgium has a high debt, even thoug we managed to lower it by 30% in 10years. A European treaty is still forcing our country to keep lowering our federal debt.we have to lower our debt with another 30%, and it's becoming hard now without damaging our economy.We can't raise wages because companies will invest less. We can't lower prices, because of the same reason. We can't raise taxes, because it'll damage the consumers. We can't lower taxes to attract more companies, because it'll increase our debt, which isn't allowed. US presidential election always go about low taxes, but ppl should realise that u'ld be better of paying more taxes, and i mean alot more taxes...It's long term thinking, and i fear most of the politicians, both in US as in Belgium, have a lack of long term thinking capabilities. Well then, wouldnt logic tell you that they would much rather just try to sell the account then to just buy and item and drop it and waste the hundreds of hours they spent raising it in hopes of gaining real money? Ya, my monies on that. Your real threat would be old school / rich / really ticked off players buying rares and alching or dropping them before / as they quit. i dont really see any harm in that either. its a choice. its just going to raise the rarity of those items. of course it could play hell with the rares market. but thats unlikely. [/hide] Agreed, as I stated, his point that he is trying to make will really never happen. However, for some odd reason I tried to put the most realistic spin on it possible. Also, lest ye not forget. If these players are quitting im sure they wouldn't give half a rats rear how the left the rares economy of a game im sure they have no intention of returning too. :wink: Gold farmers with money to buy phats, will train their accounts more, maybe sell it for big cash. They'ld rather wait till they found a hole in the system, which they can abuse to sell their gp for money. It's their job to gain money, so why buy phats with the gp they are supposed to sell, and then eventually DROP the phat? U might be trying to give it a realistic twitch, but even then it's still far from happening.

Where do you see any mention of player vs player combat in this? Mabye it would be summoned monster vs. summoned monster or something liek the rat pits :-k Can you say Po-Ke-Mon :lol:
