  2. Alright, I'm not the only one! Haha I say that I quit then give them the name of my old account which I really did quit on. Anywho, I'm not a nerd. Smart, but not a nerd. No one likes school :P . I enjoy online games, but I'd never tell anyone I still play Runescape. Don't wanna kill my reputation :-$ . I play soccer and am outside a lot. Runescape never gets in the way of my real life.
  3. http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=685211 I'm not going to be a jerk, and be like "OMG use the search button," because I only found it because I knew what I was looking for. It's fairly old, and this topic seems to be much more positive in nature. I point out that link because it shows what a lot of people think about them, and why people hate them. A lot of people think they corrupt too easily, and stuff like that. Personally, I've never met an abusive one, but I'm sure there are some. Just be assured they're gotten rid of. And, like mentioned, you can message Jagex about the bad ones. But yeah, I think they're good.
  4. My friends don't do anything that bad, and i have no problem with them cussing to/at me so I don't report. I do like to scare them and say "reported" after they curse/admit to breaking rules though \
  5. As a few people mentioned, I hate the veined rocks. Soooo hard to see the iron rocks in Varrock, annoys the heck out of me. I don't mind the new mining animation though, but thats just me.
  6. For Mining, I like Varrock east mine. Usually the people mining there are using steel or lower picks, so you can win every time. And as for the woodcutting, i used to cut about 500 willows an hour. I never really kept track, talk a lot, and was usually in a crowded world. So you can probably cut more than that, but idk.
  7. Favorites & Least Favorites What is your favorite Skill? Woodcutting. What is your least favorite Skill? Uhh probably runecrafting. What is your favorite combat Skill? What is the most number of Skills you have trained on at once? 5 or more at ice giants (crafting, prayer, att/str/def/range, hitpoints, magic) What is the Skill you are training on now? Mining. 8. His answers to why he remains f2p, what he thinks about updates, and most challenging thing about f2p are almost identical to what I say when asked. He seems like a really cool guy. Awesome bank too.
  9. my log from 99 woodcutting and the 99 uncut sapphires i got from a friend for 99.... I'll only cut the new ones i get. both fairly new but eventually they'll move near the top of my bank.
  10. When you click a monster, in the upper right hand corner it says "How to use the bestiary." That's where this quote is taken from.
  11. Personally, I could care less what the interfaces look like. All I care about is the "exp to level" thing. Subtracting is such a pain, I mean sure it may seem like I'm lazy, but when you're 98 going on to 99 and people are asking how much exp to level, it gets to be a pain. Besides, it's summer! I mean the new interface design is give and take, in my opinion some icons look better and some look worse. Overall, I'm happy about it and can't wait to see the exp to level thing :D .
  12. its the same amount of exp as far as i know. Also, unless I'm mistaken it's a 100% chance of success of making the bar with iron.
  13. yeah they took it out and added the new classroom random. thank god.
  14. http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=670684 thats 1\ more then 5k mods out there? some can completely act different. I'm sure the mod in that situation lost his p-mod status, and I know for a fact that the guy who got banned and muted got reinstated and stuff. see: So yeah, Jagex does get rid of a lot of the bad mods. So like I said in an earlier post, some of the mods a few of you may have had bad experiences with are probably gone.
  15. The main reason they go to draynor is there are no aggressive monsters between port sarim and draynor. I knew that... lol forgot about the highwaymen :wall: Anyway, I might start using the Draynor route for the lower amount of clicking. Never really thought about that.
  16. A shorter distance doesn't make it faster though. For instance if you are driving for 10 miles down a windy road, I don't think it'll be faster than driving 12 miles on a highway. (Ignoring speed limits, just taking into account how much harder it is to drive down a windy road than a straightaway.) Edit: Unorclan beat me to it :-w
  17. I think the game would be more boring. For me, the only thing that keeps me playing is the occasional person that I meet who is fun to talk to. The game is repetitive, I don't really play for the pixels. Without people to pass the time with, I don't think it would be as fun. That's just me though, maybe I'm just weird.
  18. Most people who become mod don't report to become a mod, they report people to make the game a better place. Im afraid I have to disagree with you on that one, there are a lot of players who only report to become a mod. Oh, I acknowledge that, there are tons of wanna be mods. I just don't really think that many of them actually become a p-mod. Usually they get bored then go back to breaking rules. I'm just saying that a lot of mods I've met, myself included, didn't expect to be made a mod.
  19. Teleporting to Fally is quicker than both of those  . But really, I agree with Falador bank being closer, I always seem to get slowed up by all the curves on the way to draynor. Don't the macros usually go to Draynor though? Maybe they know something we don't....
  20. If you didn't report a single person after becoming a mod, I'd say you'd not be mod much longer. Most people who become mod don't report to become a mod, they report people to make the game a better place. Wanna-be mods rarely become mods because like it says many times, Jagex doesn't accept requests to be made a mod. Everyone has had a bad experience with a p-mod, and everyone makes mistakes. Yes, that includes Jagex. Lots of mods lose modship, some of the ones you have had bad experiences with probably have too. Deal with it, and move on. I definitely don't think that 1-2 month thing will happen but for all we know Jagex might have that kind of thing in play already. They also could already have a time limit for amount of time you have to play to become mod, like wilcher suggested. Who knows (other than jagex)? Jagex does make mistakes in choosing their mods, but I definitely don't think the people who go around reporting people just to be a mod, or help people in front of mods hoping to get praised will become a pmod. No one likes wanna be's.
  21. I'm f2p, and honestly I think that the party room has brought out a lot of kindness in members. A lot of members have that whole, "oh f2p is poor and newby so I'll treat them like junk" stereotype. The members I personally have met who have that stereotype about f2p are very arrogant, so I tend to be more wary of members. I AM NOT saying all or even most members are arrogant, but I have had quite a few bad experiences. After the party room update i went to the w57 party room to find 4 members, all in woodcutting skill capes and rares or whips, putting in 50k+, sets of full rune, and hosting a quiz party. They were giving out 50k just to answer a simple question, such as "what is my favorite color?" or "what year did Santa hats come out?" It made me happy to see such generosity, it was great to see the low levels yelling "OMG rune full helm!" Sure, I don't know if they came for laughs at the noobs, but when I thanked each of them, they seemed genuine in the reasons they came. Thank you everyone who came and donated good stuff, it may not be much to you but it means a lot to the people who picked the stuff up.
  22. I think that it's a good update. I mean, sure, there's not usually going to be great stuff in there but this gets rid of at least some drop parties, which create spam almost every single time they happen. Now at least people can see the stuff they're getting instead of going "show stuff plz" and "@@@@@@@@@@@@" Now I just hope it'll cut down on the begging. F2p updates are always good in one way or another. :D
  23. I hope I don't get that random :ohnoes: Anyway, the axe head random was a major pain. People just stand where they watch the head go as it flies off, and it's even worse when people are making fires. I'm still waiting to try out the new random though
