Cheers blade, that's rather helpful, pretty much tells me what i can expect. @Z3 - 99 Slay already, overloads + turmoil, cannon where possible, dclaws + steel titan scrolls with summ / recover spec pots when i can be bothered. I like slaying fast, for the most part. :)

How often you can expect to get effigies while Slaying? How much slay xp per effigy, on average. Just come back after a fair break, wondering if there's any numbers on this floating around?

It's exactly the same as for all other trapping, click once/twice under the trap you want to go to next as you are finishing setting up a current trap. Thanks, I never really got into hunter so I don't really know the basic tricks. It's juts a timing thing, clicking to run somewhere before the animation for laying the trap is finished, will prevent it from forcing you to walk that one square, and it still gets laid. :)

Should be using: Scentless pots Zammy pots Arctic bear So that video doesn't really show draconics at their best. just linked it to show what sort of xp/h rates are easily obtainable with them. I only just got 99 hunt a few days ago, and haven't bothered doing a video of them myself yet.

I can most certainly deny this 150k/hr with horns nonsense. That would be 75k/hr regular. Thats a stretch. If you would have said 65k/hr I might believe it, since I don't drop and get about 50-55k/hr... Just going to mention, 98 mining here, and heating / dropping, is ~75k mining an hour. Juju mining potions, so i can catch up on the heating / dropping from the doubles i get before the stone spirit arrives, no mousekeys. This is without Varrock chest, too, i wouldn't doubt people that claim ~80k at 99, but that would be with good luck in regards to not having the gold nodes down. For anyone wondering, Draconics at 98 are 200k+, and that was with 2 pieces of witchdoctor. 220k xp/h at 99 is possible without zammy favors [which are worth getting btw, I'll post the reasoning + maths if someone wants]. Thanks for that Langer, as someone who'se just come back after a 6 month break, good to have something to read about what the top players are doing now. Shame to see Lan is inactive, we used to run some pro BA together.

They skill out of your trap most times. I have have 99 hunter and 2 camo pieces and I miss more than I catch. Draconic Jads are the way to go. Yup, just tested, and they were skipping the traps most of the time, which is rather unfortunate... I'll be trying them quickly with scentless potions + 2piece camo, but doubt it would make much of a difference.

.... Buying unids 11+ stacks. *sigh* good times.

175k xp/h at 98 hunter, withoutany pieces of camo or scentless pots...... i pity those that zerg'd 200m hunter on chins / butterflies. o_o EDIT: catching any of the god jadinko's should be greater xp/h. the time it takes to run to the plant to re-pot it is 30 seconds, so 1 minute travel time to and from, compared to a 12 second run from the spot i was using for draconics, which is 24 seconds round trip travel time. Roughly 3min36 secs of downtime per hour more, in exchange for an extra 14% more xp per catch. Now, the fun stuff.... that 175k per hour was with 0 downtime, since you can easily head over and repot the plant as soon as the jadinko's dissapear. 14% on top of that would put the xp/h at 200k, the extra downtime from travelling would drop it down to ~188k. Drop it down a bit more since you'd need to pick up and re-setup your traps if you wanted to do this indefinitely. Should still be an xp/h increase over the draconics.

waiting for herbs to grow so i can make potions to hunt different ones. the ramp up time to get this place up and running is a bit frustrating, but seems well worth it with the xp that can be gotten, as well as the useful potions. Will post some xp/h rates myself once i start testing properly

Will be looking into doing this for the potions. In the meantime, anyone have some rough numbers on xp/h per skill or overall to look at and ponder? i already have 99 herb / farming, but if the overall xp/h is decent it might be a nice distraction from chasing butterflies for a while.

Thought i may as well put a topic up, managed a fair few things recently, most recent of which being 99 FM, which i thought was hilarious enough to share with you all. I get a random on the log before 99..... GF jagex. :( That's not going to stop me though.... HAH! how many people can say they've gotten a 99 in a random event like that. :smile: Also recent, are 99 smithing and 99 farming for 2299 / 2300, which i guess is sort of cool. All 93+ with a ranged level recently too. :)

I bet you haven't enjoyed this game at all with that kind of work. Some people enjoy going fast and being efficient. I started playing Runescape when i got bored of speedrunning games. And... haven't enjoyed it? That must be why i've kept coming back hour after hour. ;) Everyone plays differently, i happen to like going fast.

I snuck a look before they removed the actual feature from the website. ;) You can see your total playing time when logged in, can't see others. I've been doing on average over 50k xp an hour while logged in since my accounts creation. Feel free to figure out my hours logged in if you want. Will be fun to compare with everyone once it's properly released. :) EDIT: gromhell it auto-updates

all stats 92..... I would really like 2250+ by the end of the year, as well as getting my cashpile up to 250m or so. Should be fairly achievable. :)

Simple solution, if an item that's been dropping for a few days starts trading at maximum, don't let the price change for a day or two. People won't snowball along with the original people manipulating, since if they're all buying at max the price won't change, no motivation for them :ugeek:
