  1. And what exactly does this runescape related art include? Seems like its more of a site devoted to Pixel Sigs only about runescape than anything else.
  2. Whats the person on the right doing? And the head of the far left man looks too small for his body. Its looking busy right now, with all the stuff happening, hopefully you can pull it off without making it look too cluttered :) I like the helmet on the middle guy. Anyways, great work. PS: Are they all wearing tank-tops?
  3. What do any of these have to do with runescape? Looks like it has great potential, but the whole runescape thing ruins it :P
  4. Thats nice :) Looks like you really know what you are doing, nice shading and great linework. Well detailed, also.
  5. Yep, ditto. It is disappointing... Basically, to sum up my c&c, I think the sig could do with a lot more shading. The actual cast shadows look great, but, except for the guy, nothing has any variety between shades. There is also a lot of objects that are only half finished, for example the legs of the blueprint stand. The grain only appears on one of the sides - the other is empty. The sig looks clustered and busy, and the background looks pretty weak compared to the rest of the image. Then again, its hard to work with such small canvases, so I see why the background could look so weak. To me, it looks like its incomplete and still needs a lot of "fine tuning". The only parts that really seem complete to me are the clouds and the ground at his feet. Its still a great pixel sig, even with all the improvements that could be done to it :) Obviously, the new owner is happy with the result, and I guess thats the important part. :D
  6. I didn't use 3DS max for the 3D, and I certainly wouldn't use any type of teapot method if I did. ;) *sigh* I was hoping a more constructive comment from you. But this... was just useless. Your right on it being pointless though. :) I guess you could say I'm attempting to "increase my knowledge of photoshop through practice", but that would be taking it a little too far. Hopefully I can expect a constructive reply from you when I do choose to do something you prefer, such as 3D realism.
  7. I used the default brushes with photoshop if thats what you mean. Might I see these brushes you are talking about..?
  8. Aw lol, I think I may just remove the pixel stretch at the bottom all together.. So many people don't like it. I'm also making a tutorial on how I made it (everything after the 3D) if anyone's interested.
  9. This looks great :) c&c- tttia has already mentioned things about the dolphin's colour and lack of highlights, but I also think the statue could do with a little more variety. Compared the the tree, ground, or water details, it seems dull. The tree tire is a little small, as tttia has mentioned. Anyways great job, fantastic details and lighting. Hope to see more from you! :D
  10. Its alright. The linework seems clean, but its way too plain. The clothes need a bit more variation to them, like wrinkles, and the head could do with some more details too (it looks kinda small). His shoe looks a little square. The background should also be a little bit lighter, its too hard to see the guy with such a dark ground behind him. Anyways, its not bad for a start, I like the fire :) A little too unfinished to give a solid rating, but hopefully you'll touch up on what I mentioned above.
  11. 1. Yep. 2. Usually a sig done in MS paint or made with 1px pencil tool in PS. None of them made at tip are very good, but there are some great pixel artists at other sites or on deviantArt. If you use brushes in your pixel art (on tip.it, at least) its considered "cheating" and not true pixel art. 3. No idea, sorry. 4. ?? Misterxman (spl?) if he's still around. TJ too... Good luck though. If you know anything about the human anatomy or how shadows work it shouldn't be too hard to win. Not many people here seem to take it seriously.. 5. I don't like it. Nice text though.
  12. http://www.deviantart.com/view/18807592/ WIP. open for C&C! also see sig.
  13. Its amazing that they have all been done in Illustrator. Some of them look more like they've been created by a 3D program. Nice! One of the best vector artists I've seen... It was actually made in Illustrator, a 2D program. You can tell if you look at the outlines, more specifically at the reflection on the side.
  14. Great composition and balance. I underestimated your talent... :D
  15. Awesome, nice detail and colours. C&C - The nebula is sharp, and looks too much like crumpled tinfoil. It also seems garish next to the dark planet and background. Overdoing it with curves? The text is ugly and I don't know whats with the transparent pill..?? lol :| No text would look cooler IMO. Hate to be harsh, hope its for the best. :)
  16. Nice. The emboss is a little obvious, and the glow gets sharp and seems to split away from the planet near the darker parts. Good planet, but after all, its just a planet :P More stuff would be cooler ;)
  17. WOW.. I wish I could model like that :( Have you taken courses or does your work include modeling/graphics? The 'flat tires' looks more like a mistake (or a cheap way of making them look flat), as if the car is going through the ground. And it needs a bit more anti-aliasing, some of the lines are really choppy. Woot, keep em coming! I love your reflections too (even though the glass is a little be wacky) :D
  18. Nice! If you plan on detailing this, I think a fuzzy ('furry') texture on the shirt would be great. Also, the sleeves could be a bit thinner and better fitting to her arm. And the belt/buckle looks too smooth (like a gradient?) compared to the rest of the image. Other than that, awesome work. Everything is great about it. (If you don't mind me asking..) How old are you? You're gallery is amazing.
  19. It looks like cutout filter and selective colouring...? The filter does make it somewhat of a vector (not a great one), but I can't see how it took you 6 hours... :| The t-shirt colour doesn't work with the images (blue space?) and the whole shirt itself seems a bit plain. The guy is too far down in the corner of the shirt, try moving him up more. Also, a subtle background (that just covers the area near the focal point) and possibly some text would be nice (if you do add text, I'd suggest to change the title to something more fitting for a space-related company, eg; NASA) Did you draw the shirt yourself, or is it a template off a site?
  20. I've already done an mp5... It wasn't my favourite model, and wasn't that fun to make. But at the time, I was only beginning... But I'll skim through some different H&K models and see if there any I'd want to make... :D
  21. .2 of a kb and they won't let you use it? Well, i was expecting the mods to be a little bit leanient, but I could get it smaller. The quality will drastically change though...
  22. (Looking at version two..) The [O]nline doesn't jump out at you immediately, it looks like the O has nothing to do with the Nline. Maybe shrinking the O, or making Nline bigger would make these feel slightly more natural? The bright red coloured C and R stick out a lot more than anything else, and they don't seem to fit well with the rest of the image. And there are some white choppy edges around the earth.. Well, thats all I can find that needs improvent. Nice logo :) Oh, and version 1 is nice too, but looks a little busy inside that O, especially with all the colours mixing. I also prefer the background in version 2, not that its really that important :P
  23. Whoops! I see what you mean by the inner part of the silencer, I'll be sure to fix that. And thanks for pointing out the double peg on the rear sight! I'm no expert, and I couldn't see that from the references I was using. Thanks for the tips :) I'll post updated versions and hopefully get it skinned soon. Also keep the requests coming for different new models, I've still not fully decided on which I'll be doing next. PS: Glock/Knife owns all in cs... :D
  24. Not cool... Pretty nice :) It looks a little crammed and busy. The colours are dull and the contrast seems low, and the black bar kills it. The 3D isn't bad though. I think it would look better if you made it into a sig, and then re-coloured it and added a bit more contrast. I also like the airbrushing and creativity on the text. Don't take this too harshly, its still a great piece! You could make a fortune if you chopped it up and sold them (lol.. 'pulling a dave') PS: OMG its been a while since I've seen ya :o
  25. 30.29kb Thats the best I could do without removing frames :| I don't think its possible at the original size, unless you wanna bring it down to 2-4 colours
