I've been thinking about something. Like I posted a few pages of this thread ago, I got scammed while selling 3000 lobbies: the guy changed 600k into 60k. If I would have seen this, and if I would then have removed 2970 lobbies so that 30 lobbies remain, maybe he wouldn't have seen that, because he's so busy with his coins, and with hoping that I'll accept, that he actually accepts and he becomes the scammed one instead of the scammer (paying 60k for 30 lobbies)...

My character was made in march 2002. I only set recovery questions somewhere in 2003. But it sais my recovery questions were last set in february 2002, when my character didn't even exist yet! How reliable is the technology of Jagex? And does Jagex actually know the date of account creation?

Ha! I just remembered... everytime I'm training range I get a random as soon as I try and teleport. I tried it 4 or 5 times already and it's worked each time. I don't know if it has to do with getting a certain amount of exp or if you're there longer than 15 minutes is what triggers it. It's a half truth... which event you get and when the trigger is pulled is random, what triggers it is not. Jagex isn't stupid enough to tell you exactly how everything works... Don't you think that would be helpful for the autoers? I also think it's not an absolute thing.. i.e. if you pull the trigger they do not always send a random, and it may be at a somewhat unrealated time. I had that when fishing on Karamja. Not all the time, but pretty often when teleporting from Karamja after fishing a full load, the teleport didn't work and there appeared some swarm or dwarf next to me. But all you have to do to get rid of those is press the teleport button again... That seriously doesn't stop autoers...

When doing a normal conversation with people, you'll need to be able to say something every 5 seconds, or else it won't be a natural conversation. However, if jagex's servers can handle it, they could make it so that you can talk normally if you say very different things every time (a few letters difference is not enough), and that you can say something every 5 seconds, but after doing so for 10 times you have to wait a bit longer, etc...

Jagex and player mods mute players who can type well, because they think they're autotyping. I think Jagex should make autotypers unneeded, by allowing you a better way to type, and at the same time avoiding the ability to flood. That is, a built in autotype feature in the client itself, just like there's also "cook all" now. I suggest multiple things for this: 1) You have to wait at least 5 seconds between two messages in public chat. 2) If you press ctrl + enter, the message will remain above your head forever. That is, until you type another message or press enter. That way you can just stand there with the message above your head when trading, without retyping it all the time. 3) If you press the tab button, the last message you typed is automatically typed again. Remember, thanks to the 5 second limit, you can't really flood this way. I'd also like to suggest a few other things to improve chatting: 4) The ability to say "selling rune plate body 70k" (you can't say this right now if you type it literally the way I typed) 5) The ability to turn off "player blah has logged in"/"player blah has logged out" messages 6) The ability to turn off game messages like "you mined iron ore" or "you roasted a lobster"

Everyone who sais he likes greenday is just doing so because everyone sais it. Greenday is appearantly the hype of the moment. There's no reason to like greenday more than other groups. Their songs are not bad, but certainly not better than many other groups, and I stick with groups that I personally like a lot (Pink Floyd, Rammstein, Nine Inch Nails, Within Temptation, At The Villa People (no not Village People), and much much more but I'm not gonna turn this into a list of music groups), instead of just liking the one that everyone claims to like at this particular moment.

AFAIK, the tip.it calculator isn't based on an actual formula because the formula isn't known, so it's based on statistics of players, right? Are the statistics for the pure prayer case actually correct in the calculator, so will someone with 1 att/def/str, 10hp and 43 prayer really have combat level 8?

It's around 3333 big bones, which costs around 1 million gp. Well, I'm sure someone finds it worth this money (but I'm not one of those ;))

A level 8 with protect from melee, that would be great entertainment in the wilderness! Woot I almost would like to do it myself, to hear all those pkers scream in amazement how the level 8 is a prayer noob :lol:

I'm fishing in karamja right now. Firemaking is the most important thing there, everyone yells "fire!" all the time :D But I would find it neat if you could make fires without tinderbox at high level. After all, there are enough methods to make fire without tinderbox, and if you have a high level I wonder why you still need such a beginners tool for it. Plus, firemaking is fun, and levels pretty fast. Turn on the song "Prodigy - Firestarter" in your Winamp or xmms, get 27 logs, and make 27 fires in a row!

Lol I wouldn't log off, you can chat with people in RS every day already, a day in an empty world seems like fun, I'd mine thousands of iron ores and coals, fight the ice giants all day long (i'm f2p), try out the greater demons, and walk around through the whole world seeing how weird it looks when it's so empty :)

I remember back in 2002 when I was pretty new, that I had real troubles getting money. After playing long enough to be in the champion's guild, I saw that they sold the rune long sword there. But it cost 32k or something like that, and that was impossible for me to get. After playing for WEEKS to get money, I finally managed to buy the rune long, for 28k or so, and that meant I had payed all my money (and probably sold my addy plate) to get the rune long sword and it took me a very long time to get. Now back to 2006. I made a level 3 noob char, and needed some money for a headstart, so I wanted a quick way to get 10k (without drop trading :P). I just did the rune mysteries quest with the level 3, took my bronze pickaxe, mined 308 rune essenses, and sold them for 10k. The quest took maybe 15 minutes, 11 mining trips took maybe 20 minutes, and the selling of rune essenses is the easiest thing to do even when you sell only 308 of them. 10k was a fortune for me in 2002, now I got it in no time with a level 3 char with no skills at all. Was I just dumb in 2002 and was it just as easy to get 10k on a level 3 then?

Nah this isn't random anymore, I'm getting faster prayer experience while cooking, than when fighting ice giants, thanks to the genies ;)

Hey, by the way, does anyone know why masks are cheaper than santas? They're older, they have 3 variations, and look better than santas. Is it maybe so that there are more masks than santas? Or is it because there are more people who hoard 100s of santas, than people who do that with masks?

Cooking. I walk back and forth between the range and the bank in Al Kharid all the time. Everytime I click the furnace to cook 28 lobbies at once, there's a chance that a random event appears. I estimate that around 1/5th of the times there's a random event. I got myself a new frog outfit and 3 genies, and I just started cooking, I have many more lobbies to go. I also got a lot of mysterious men , but those are useless, since my inventory is full with lobbies I don't feel that it's worth dropping a lobster to get a sapphire or 64 coins. And useless dwarves of course. But anyway, I feel that this isn't random anymore. Every 5 times I ccook 28 lobbies, a random event, and every time at the moment I click the range...
