Why is bronze scimitar rare and rune scimitar not? And your drops are all way too good, I mean, people will keep killing it over and over and get super drops, think of the consequences.

I have an idea about how to improve player combat in runescape, because currently it's obviously flawed. Here's all the points that make up this idea: -When you die in the world, you lose no items, but time. When you die you'll appear in some ghosty overworld or something, where you have to complete some maze to get back to the world. How long it takes, depends on where and how you died (I.E. you died from a monter, a player, during a multiplayer game, during a duel, ...). For example, when you die from a duel, you don't really have to finish any long maze, you can go back almost immediatly. You'll respawn right where you died, or, if in some multiplayer game, at respawn points near the game location. This way you're similar to monsters who also respawn after a certain time. -When you die in the wilderness, you lose all your items. Even if you didn't PK, you still lose all your items. There's no prayer to keep your items either. That's what makes the wilderness so wild. -You can attack people anywhere, including the normal world. If you kill a person however, you become a vile murderer for one game hour, and if you attack a person without killing him, you become vile murderer for only 5 minutes (so that the other person can defend himself without becoming vile). The lower the level of the person you attack is below you, the longer above 1 hour you'll stay vile. -Killing vile murderers is considered a good deed. -Your number of kills, vile kills and wilderness kills is remembered in your score. -Like in the wilderness, the normal world has zones with different level differences where you can attack each other. -For vile murderers the following rules count: *) Everyone can attack a vile murderer *without* becoming vile *) If you attack someone who is *not* a vile murderer, you become vile *) In the wilderness you don't become vile for attacking someone -The reason you want to kill people outside the wilderness is not for their items since they drop nothing, but only for experience, fun, and if the person is being annoying as a punishment for him. -You can't attack people in places like lumbridge, varrock, etc... because the guards will yell that you can't. -In the wilderness, everyone can attack everyone without becoming vile murderer (with still the level restrictions). -You can choose to respawn in lumbridge instead of where you died, in case you're stuck somewhere. -Dueling is somewhat like RSC again: you can duel anywhere, without anyone becoming vile murderer, and you respawn right away after the duel at the same location. -In other words, you'll die more often by players, but lose less. I think some points need to be improved but I find it hard to think how, please give constructive criticism.

You could go to varrock or falador square on a busy world and morph all people! Massive fun guarantied!

birch would make a very weak material for bows

-a cannon that automaticly aims by itself -steam powered trains -steam powered spinning machines -scientific research on spells that bring you to the abyss -a chemistry distilling machine -futuristic looking machines with switches on them -an electrical kebab machine in the kebab shop in al kharid (it's too small to contain a fire in it and you can clearly see the electrical heat resistors plus the kebab meat has to rotate somehow) -a lightning conductor for a frankenstein like experiment -another electrical experiment where a guy turned into a chicken yep, many modern things in runescape! and where is the power plant to power those electrical things??

This is a funny and useful spell using illusion magic. The higher your magic, the better the results of the spell. You can cast the spell on yourself and other people, and it'll temporary (a few minutes) morph you into something else. You'll still be a white dot on the minimap tho. Whenever you cast the spell you morph into something random and you can't choose what, but the higher your magic level, the more different shapes you can be morphed into. It's only one spell for magic level 20, there just appear more possible shapes if you have higher magic level. Low level morphs (20 magic): rabbit sheep chicken camel cow Medium level morphs (40 magic): regular tree oak tree goblin hobgoblin imp High level morphs (60 magic, useful for wilderness ones): dead tree black unicorn skeleton scorpion zombie The morphs do NOT affect your stats at all, they only affect your appearance for a few minutes and you'll still be a white dot on the map and have the same right click options. You can't cast the morph spell while you're already morphed, so if you wanted to become a particular thing you'll have to wait till the previous spell is over and try again.

Once the farming, POH's, clans and carpentry are in, Runescape is finished. Those are the last big things that jagex promised promised long ago, and they will be finished pretty, before the end of this year. After that there's nothing more to add to the game except some extra quests and world parts. Jagex once put something on their company site about some other big game they would be making targeted to the chinese. Since RS is done, they'll start spending their time on that, and all we RSers will only get a few additions like small quests, and it won't be weekly anymore. Jagex will keep RS running all the time but it won't be their main focus anymore. Discuss.

My level 3 treasure was rather disappointing: -80 law runes -black dragonhide body (high alched it, takes way to long to find a buyer) -guthix page 2 (sold it quickly for 15k because I didn't feel like spending too much time in falador)

i like that idea :) really. then nobody whines since the phats are lost since you can buy them from horsey guy for like 100 gp. and nobody whines either about losing money since they get the amount of money that the phat is worht at the time of the deletion go go go with this idea! Um no not really! Currently a yellow party hat may be worth whatever, say for example 20 million, but that doesn't mean that 1000 yellow party hats are worth 20000 million, because a person with 1000 yellow party hats would never find 1000 buyers so he'll have to sell it cheaper. What I'm saying is, jagex will never insert millions of new gp's in the game, remember that party hats are worth 6gp or something like that. If jagex did this idea, the amount of money in game will maybe be doubled, and think of the inflation that would create!

[IDEA]: Invisibility potion. (UPDATED, addition to idea)
Lode replied to Peronix's topic in RuneScape Suggestions
Nice idea, but I think it should stop working as soon as you have a skull above your head, so that once you pked someone you are at full risk again. After all that skull over your head can be spotted from far away, hard to hide that ;) -
Actually even the english language isn't supported by Runescape. For example you can't say "Selling Dragon Body 10k", because Runescape thinks that "dy 10k" is a form of "willy". And you also can't say "pwned!" :(

SUICIDE OPTION!!! NOT ANOTHER "HORSES IN RUNESCAPE IDEA
Lode replied to kaibani's topic in RuneScape Suggestions
I totally dislike the idea :wall: And appearantly you just posted it to flame us anyway. -
[sarcasm] Wow what a truly FANTASTIC idea this would allow you to PK outside the wilderness so nobody is safe anywhere anymore, not even that guy that's fishing in the fishing guild or that guy who's stealing your monsters from you outside the wilderness!!! OMG it's so great, even the level reduction will be gone so you can actually go to lumbridge and KILL ALL NOOBS OVER AND OVER AGAIN SINCE THEYLL KEEP RESPAWNIG THERE!!!! WOOT that's gonna be so fun!!!!! [/sarcasm]
-
Actually, if a few people can affect the prices SO MUCH, I think this shows HOW FEW party hats are actually left.
-
that glass shatters could be used as a weapon

Jagex SHOULD make the old holiday items untradable, BUT they warn a month beforehand, so that people who want to buy one still have time to do so, and people who want to sell one still have a chance to do so. When they do that, there should also be a way to get your item back should you lose it, because you can't buy it anymore.
-
will it even survive the trip to the rune ores? :D
-
I have an idea what jagex could do with pumpkins and easter eggs: if you eat an easter egg, you can choose a new skin color at the makeover mage, namely light blue. if you eat a pumpkin, you can choose the color orange. easter eggs and pumpkins will be kinda wanted and the happy few who have some can show off their fancy skin color! and after a while all of them will be gone.
-
I have eaten easter eggs on easter 2002, and also sold some for 2.5K Oh, and I was level 3 that day :D

The Problem with the Official Runescape Forum (long)
Lode replied to Adam007's topic in RuneScape Suggestions
Here's my problems with the RS forums: -Not fullscreen but in a frame -You can't refresh them because that brings you to the main page -Very lacking search function -No direct link "view your posts" -Very lacking functionality overall -
Why's it unfair? I mean clothes aren't supposed to have stats. Actually I'm saying that the outfits you now have in RS below your armor are boring and free, and it should be possible to replace these with wearable items that don't give stats but look better than the standard clothes you can choose when you make your character.

Can this also work in Mozilla? Firefox and mozilla are pretty similar in many aspects, but there appears to be no live bookmarks in my mozilla :(
