I got myself a pure miner instead. My main has only 66 woodcutting and is very low in the high scores with that (240kth or so), I didn't know that so many people liked woodcutting that much.

What if you're sitting on a train or something and have no laptop but a PSP. Then it'd be great if you could turn the time waste that a train is, into a Runescape session :D

Where can I find such professional merchanting help? Because any mistake in my case will be fatal! It's impossible for me to get them back if I lose them. I'd like to have a party hat eventually, but when would be the best moment for this (ie when can I trade the least possible santa hats for a party hat)

I got scammed a while ago for 350k because some guy put up 386213 coins in trade screen and suddenly he changed it to 38623 coins and I didn't see it. Next time I'm gonna watch better when people don't put up round numbers.

It's impossible for me to make 5 million in Runescape in a reasonable time. For that I just don't play often enough and don't have the patience. That means it's impossible for me to ever buy any new holiday item. However, I have holiday items already because I picked some up on those holidays and bought some when they were cheap: I got 20 santa hats and 2 mask sets. But I don't have a party hat. If you were in my situation, would you trade some of those santas and masks for a party hat, or would you just keep them? I have no idea if, when I keep the santa's and masks and don't trade them for a party hat, the santas and masks will rise more in price, or the party hats will.

I would be happy, but at the same time I would think that the whole "spinning dragon plates" joke of jagex was made for nothing and once again jagex wasn't able to make their minds up.

I don't think there are any items that were non-member in rsc and got member in rs2 and if there were, they were all converted to "members items" And in RSC, the same happened as in RS2: on a f2p world they were called "members item" and were unusable.

My account is almost 4 years old: I started in march 2002 Of those 4 years I've been a member twice: once in 2003 and once in 2005. However I'm not a member right now and haven't been so in the past 6 months. I'm planning to get membership now and then again in the future. But because I didn't play RS classic the last 6 months I won't be able to login to it, even if my account is 4 years old and I get members again in the future! Why doesn't jagex look at the age of an account, for example those who created their account before RS2, instead of who logged in to classic during the last 6 months?

You did something wrong in actually replying to his arguments (like saying "I don't care what level you are" etc...). All you have to say is "it's not for sale" and if he sais something like "but I'm a level 103" then all you have to reply to that is "yes but it's not for sale". That will shut people up sooner. Usually. You got in a discussion about if you trust him and if you know who he is, which is keeping you away from the main point, being that it's not for sale.

What does your Runescape configuration look like? Mine looks like the screenshot. I use Opera as browser for Runescape only, because I disabled javascript in it so that I can use bookmarks to different worlds of runescape (without the javascript bringing me back to the main page). I use Mozilla for everything else and tip.it.

how do you get 2 sets of hats and scarves? and all of the mironettes?? :roll: see how its kind of blotchy? thats how you tell he copied and pasted :D You know nothing about image editing lol. The blotchy effect is called jpeg artefacts and appear around sharp edges in jpeg compressed images due to the way the DCT (Discrete Cosine Transform) energy compaction works. How you tell if someone copied and pasted is when the background looks a bit different and you can recognise horizontal and vertical lines around it where it doesn't align the background, which you don't see in this image. So the image is real, unless he did a really good editing job, but I know that it's real because the way how to get 2 sets is explained earlier in this topic if you'd have read it.

The advantage is that when you wear one, the other one can still preserve your bank spot so you don't have to "insert" the hat when you store it in bank again. That is, if you try to keep your bank clean and ordered :)

I was mining with my level 3 joke account, when a level 62 said he'd buy 1k iron ores for 37k. I said no way, and kept mining and when full walked to bank and back to the ores. The level 62 kept following me saying things like "40k" and such, even after I had said I wasn't interested. I just found this funny, because normally it's the level 3 that follows a high level and begging, not the opposite :lol:

I suppose it's very hard for auto bots to detect how many fingers there are on the hand. But can't such bots not just look in the memory of RS to see what 3D model is currently being displayed?

I think they're not against it, guys can wear skirts and stuff. I think the reason is modeling: they would have to make a female model with prince outfit, and a male outfit with dress, and I suppose they just couldn't let it look right. Or maybe they did it so that people who change gender, can have a proper outfit without waiting for another frog event (not that frog events are rare!)
