"I want a girlfriend/boyfriend", and other such relationship advice
You don't need to know how to dance, or a get girlfriend. I don't have a girlfriend, and I can't dance (but I make up for it with enthusiasm ) and I do just fine. Just find some hobbies. Exercising is a good one. Eating well + exercise will make you feel much better right off the bat. Learn guitar or a new language, or learn survival skills, or read up about psychology and body language. Find things that interest you (that don't involve computers) and do them. Read through the thread and start dressing better. Go to bed and wake up at better times. There are so many things you can do to feel great. As for socializing, make it a point to talk to people. Create a persona and give him a name. This persona is confident in social situations, and is the highlight of any party. He doesn't care what people think of him, he just has fun and that rubs off on everyone around him. Get a feel of how he behaves. Now, act like this person when you think of it. Just step out of your body and become him as best you can. Keep pushing yourself out of your comfort zone. Go out at least once a week. Meet at least 1 new person. No excuses or I come down and slap you.

He was being an [wagon] and also telling us that he knows we think he's a pig etc. I meant that if he lets the stress of the job get to him and turn him into an [wagon] completely, it's going to harm him more than he can harm anyone else.

That's what I meant by ljbf. We had a little thing going years ago and she friend zoned me, I didn't talk to her for like a year and came back. Yeah not much I can do except see what happens.

I think I may have gotten ljbf :( She's naturally flirty, but then throws out IODs She wanted to have sex one night, but we were both drunk and I was hoping for a relationship so I didn't do it. No idea if that's what screwed it up, or that I mistook her flirting as something more serious. Or maybe she's attracted, but still pissed at me from the other night... Except I can't ask her because it would be needy..... It's the perfect situation to caveman but I'm good friends with her so I can't. fml :wall:

Made slightly less poignant by you vomiting all over his shoes. :3 Or trying to hug him and getting tazed. But seriously, that's pretty cool. Esp. because you were drunk. Heh, nah I didn't puke on him or anything. It's the cop I talked about here http://forum.tip.it/topic/195466-today/page__st__11760 Things got pretty heated.. He was egging my mate to take a swing at him, and my speech ended up shutting him up. He just said he would be back in uniform which he never was.

What triggered it? No idea.. It was one of my most intense ones.. I was shaking like a leaf, couldn't see what was going on and I could barely talk. Just glad the worst of it only lasted 10 minutes or so rather than hours.I went to a party in a hotel room down the coast a few hours later and just danced. Feeling heaps better now.. Hopefully I'll be able to sleep.

Me to an [wagon] cop last night: I know you're hated by the scum of the country, but you knew it would come with the job. I know you get called a pig after booking a drunk driver, and you scrape somebody off the road while people in cars slow down to take pictures. But if it happens enough times and you let it get to you, if you're not careful you can end up hating the world and taking it out on us. No matter how hard you push the world, it will always push back harder. I'm just proud that I managed to come up with that on the spot while drunk.

Because here, the majority believe killing is bad. That's the law though. Just because something is against the law, it doesn't mean it is necessarily bad. It's usually 'bad' in that particular culture because it the belief of the majority, but that doesn't mean anything.

Rum - 10 Me - 0 Can't wait for work  Party was interesting.. Ended up being accused by an off duty cop who hated the world of holding information about someone who smashed his car... I had no idea who it was, but he seemed to think we had it out for him. "I know I'm just a cop to you. A pig. I know your type." etc when I wasn't being rude or anything, and he was the one who brought up the fact that he was a cop. He was threatening to get my car towed: 'wanna [bleep] with me? I'll find a reason after I look it over." etc

Yeah I don't really watch tv, other than the occasional seinfeld rerun. Today I mostly watched burn notice wrapped in a blanket. Going to a party tonight  I also have a friend pissed off at me because I'm going to said party, as it is hosted by her ex. Even though she is off doing something tonight and can't hang with me anyway. I can attract them but I still can't understand them <_<

Abortion in Canada
Maybe because the women do their research and weigh their options before they go in? Nobody is pretending it is an easy solution. Quit acting like it.

Abortion in Canada
Sorry, try again. Don't talk about absolute morals against suffering when you contribute to our consumer culture. That's hardly what I said, and it isn't the point I'm trying to convey. Your discussion about a "consumer culture" is better suited to a different thread, because its irrelevant in my humble opinion. What is it you want out of society, a brave new world? What are you doing to stand up against the "consumer culture" ? Or is it because you embrace abortion that its OK that you live in the "consumer culture" ? It seems that the only thing I could do that would make my stance on life acceptable to you would be to go naked into a forest, and live from the trees. Seems to me what you said. You dodged the question and told me I was wrong. Now you're dodging the question again, and resorting to reductio ad absurdum. Why not just explain what you're doing to preserve life that you cherish so much? Other than by standing on the sidelines telling people how to live their life I mean. How much spending do you do that isn't necessary for your survival? Why don't you use it to save lives? It's because it's not as convenient as just 'being pro life.' (read: doing nothing) It's a fetus, hence why we call it a fetus. baby [ˈbeɪbɪ] n pl -bies 1. a. a newborn or recently born child; infant It's still a separate issue entirely. Abortion being allowed does not effectively control what doctors don't/have to do. See riku's response.

Sorry, try again. Don't talk about absolute morals against suffering when you contribute to our consumer culture. No, abortion ends a life. An issue that I have already addressed. Wanting to decide what happens to your body is hardly selfish. I don't think anybody will oppose laws telling doctors to 'inform' before they perform an abortion. That is not an issue with whether abortion is ok or not.
