  1. The thing is he's not a [bleep], he's just a bit slow and doesn't pay attention some of the time. There's a good chance he will disregard what I say, but just see it as me insulting him. Then he goes about his business, his girlfriend moans during sex like a deaf girl, doesn't tell him the truth and he's on top of the world. While I'm the [bleep]. He's had sex a LOT, but only ever with the 1 girl. I've had lots of partners but much less of it overall. Me 2-3 times a week when he often does that in a day. We both think we have more experience than the other, he does the same thing over and over and won't take any advice from anyone.
  2. Why didn't you say all that in the first place? :s Basically your problem is with education about the implants, not the implants themselves. I'm sure nobody here will argue against unbiased information being presented to parents before they choose to get their child the implants.
  3. I'm friends with a couple who have been together a couple years but it looks like their relationship is on the rocks, but he doesn't seem to realize it. He plays cod all day and doesn't give her the affection she needs from him. She also hasn't ever had an orgasm from him, but he is under the impression he is a sex god. I tried offhandedly giving him tips at her request, to which he disregarded with a 'yeah I used to do that but we don't have time now." I've tried talking her into saying something about the sex but she won't. I hate intervening with things like this but if it could save their relationship... Would you say something to him? I disagree with muggiwhplar's post, it doesn't sound like social anxiety at all. I have panic disorder and I get anxiety, and I used to be terrible in social situations never knowing what to say, and they are 2 different things. Tim sounds like he just has the later. Calling it social anxiety, using it as an excuse and giving it attention can easily lead to it though. All you have to do is practice holding a conversion, the tip I posted seems to work perfectly for that.
  4. I don't find deafness or cochlear implants amusing, just some of the posts here. So far your only argument against having the implant and also learning ASL is that they can't enjoy music as well, which is a pretty small price to pay for what they gain. The rest of your posts have just been high horse syndrome and godwin's law inspired. If you're going to disregard everyone's opinion because they don't work with deaf people I don't understand why you made the topic.
  5. This would have to be the greatest thread since "jagex abuses animals by allowing you to tease a dog in game at varrock"

I didn't go out last night, nor am I going out tonight. It feels weird going to work not feeling like a train wreck..
  7. :/ You're doing it wrong As long as he's not physically aggressive I would just let it be. Not a fan of playing the parent, or when people do it for me. I'm assuming she's around your age, she can take care of herself. To expand on[hide=] [/hide] a bit, If they aren't contributing much to the conversation (something you should expect when first meeting people) then you can just tell random stories. You don't need a segway or anything, you can just go from story to story. Use my tip about adding a random fact from here mid story to make sure they are interested and paying attention.
  8. A basic trick to keep a conversation going is looking for the subject of what the previous person said, and commenting on it. A: *tells story of some time he forgot his id when he went clubbing* The subject words are clubbing, forgetting, and id. You can branch off from any of these. B: I have a bone to pick with that, I could buy alcohol and get into bars when I was 16. Then a few months before I turned 18 there was that huge thing in the media about underage drinking, I'm now 19 and get carded wherever I go. I remember the first time I bought alcohol underage, I was at this party and..... The subject words are id, alcohol, bars, party A: I don't go to many parties anymore, I mostly go to smaller gatherings and bbqs. This one huge open house kinda turned me off them. *Tells story about an open house that was packed elbow to elbow right up the street, the house got destroyed, some guy lost an eye, about 60 cops turned up, tried to buy alcohol but got carded etc* Listen to what the other person is saying, identify the subject words and go from there. When you have no idea what to say, it's because you have so many things to say but you can't decide. If you keep giving 1 word answers and being bad at conversion, then you will get lots of practice and get good at exactly that. The only way to break out is to push through your comfort zone, and keep pushing.
  9. "What do you want to do?" is a turnoff for both sexes. It is, which is why I do both. Spontaneous decisions, I do it a lot. Decide at 8pm to go to a party, then talk a few people into going to the beach in the morning at 1am etc. Being indecisive is a turn off but you can avoid that and still not plan things. About a month into their relationship, a couple I know had sex 3-5 times a day. They still have sex at least once a day now 2-3 years later, usually twice and quite often more.
  10. Oh cool, my definition for a disability is a show of former women dressed in penguin suits doing gymnastics on an airplane. You can't just invent your own meanings, yours makes no more sense than the one in the dictionary.
  11. That's only when you aren't really in love. The novelty does not wear off love.
  12. Paraplegics can't jump. Blind people can't watch TV on mute. Ok, and your point is? He feels the term disabled is derogatory towards deaf people, because deaf people can lead a normal life. Unlike those freaks who can't see. We need to learn to be more understanding.
  13. Lolwut Yeah, research suggests that exposure to females making out is a natural lubrication and cleaner of the eyes - rendering blinking redundant.
  14. Thats a very trashy idea. Sorry but most girls I know don't like the idea of going somewhere just for sex. At least in the beginning of a relationship. Maybe once they are more comfortable with you, and possibly enjoy it, you can pull that stuff off. How the [bleep] is that trashy? Cmon you're a teenager, not a 40 year old woman. Sex in public is exciting, the risk of being caught makes it so much hotter. For both (all?) people involved if they enjoy something a bit more exciting than missionary in the dark through a sheet.
  15. I grew up with a bunch of female friends who made out a lot so I don't even blink anymore. A couple friends did it the other day, everyone was like :o and I was like
  16. Just say she's only a friend, it's what I do. When you guys disappear into your bedroom your parents know whats up, but you can avoid the 21 questions by sticking to the friend story.
  17. I'd do that. I could never get into baldurs gate, either of them. :/

Yeah there's cylindrical shell and then there's arcs ... erm, I posted for some help a while back it's like this, but you have sin,cos,etc.. Yeah I remember something like that, my teacher called it integrating arcs. Not too much different.
  19. That would piss me off. I've only been really angry once in my life and it takes a lot, but that would do it for me. It's only $30, and if she was that worried she could have paid for some of it. The price of the pill is a [cabbage] load cheaper than the price of a kid. Unless you want to pretty much finish your life now and spend the rest of it raising this kid and scraping up a few bucks to feed it and yourself, I suggest an abortion. Foster homes are overcrowded as it is. First obviously check if she is pregnant, because she might not be. Then start weighing your options. You have keeping it, putting it up for adoption or aborting it. Talk with her about it, it's her's as much as yours and nobody here can make the decision for either of you. I don't want a kid until I'm at least 30, if at all. When you have a child and you need to work to support it, after that plus raising it, what else do you have time for? I say enjoy your youth and do [cabbage] while you can. We have a hardwired desire to 'be god.' To be someone that is depended on, for that feeling of being needed. I'm pretty happy just being me. :wall: That's the kind of guy who shouldn't be saving sex.

I know what he's talking about if you remove the word arcshell. I found calc fairly easy though. I struggled more in grade 10 extension math than grade 12 math B (which contrary to popular belief, is harder than math C)
  21. Outside of fashion shows and gay clubs, no. What's wrong with jeans though?
  22. What do you mean by legging wear that isn't pants though?
  23. What what what !? What unforgivable faux paux did I commit by wearing cargo shorts. They weren't terribly big, and the pockets were decently sized. Also, can someone suggest to me some legging wear that isn't a form of pants ? I have an indecent amount of boxer shorts, but I doubt I can wear them outside. How do you feel about skirts?
  24. I swear we have one of these threads every couple months. 1 Monkey island 1-3 2 Kotor 1 3 AOE2 4 Deux Ex 5 Portal 6 Pokemon yellow
  25. Here's mine. Please excuse the sweatpants and outline of my junk, it was a veg out day.
