Finally someone else paid attention to the motion control, haha. Really if you just ignore the AI the motion control was incredible, with her drawing the picture and scanning it in and milo grabbing it, or her moving her hand around in the water to grab fish. Imagine something like that with a VR helmet. Sounds silly but when you think about it, it would work.

Sure if you ignore a better director, random areas as well as spawn locations, improvements to stop the "hide in a corner and melee" tactics and plenty of new levels with a new gameplay mode (yeah they said they will probably have a new one in L4D2) , sure.

The motion control, at the least, GiantBomb has already said works like it is supposed to. I think most people are more focused on the AI though which, obviously, to an extent was scripted with the AI. AI hasn't gotten that much better.

I don't think all the stages are in the daytime Forsaken. However during the day the witch roams around instead of sitting down. :lol: Anyways Valve has said that with L4D2 they are much more confident with it being a "platform" for tons of DLC and such. The motion controls were plenty immersive according to joystiq when they tried it out. Of course Milo's AI won't be that great yet, it's not like we're going to jump ahead 50 years an AI technology or something. I mean don't get me wrong, what sony showed was miles ahead of what nintendo has, but I just don't think it could stack up with Project Natal.

I think the last time I pre-ordered a game was like 5 years ago probably. I just don't do it anymore because there is no reason to. Well, I take that back. I have pre-ordered some valve games from steam, simply because they usually give you a nice 5% discount or so. Even then I just wait to preorder like a day before the game comes out.

Please. The Microsoft Project Natal had 1:1 tracking and more. Sony's just sort of looked silly. And if you aren't really amazed by the possibilities from "Milo" than I don't even know. It opens up a lot.

It's an MMO btw. So sony motion control, who saw that coming? haha.

Yeah nintendo's was pretty boring. I heard they showed like no gameplay footage either. Sony is off to a good start so far. Uncharted 2 and MAG gameplay previews.
