E3 2009 - The Big 3 & the Minorities
Big money EP3, please! Hope they announce it at the EA keynote. edit: http://e3.gamespot.com/press-conference/ea-e3/ ^the stream. Few mins left til it starts! I'm torn on it. On one hand, it's more L4D -- and if you read about it they're adding a lot. On the other hand it does seem soon. To be honest I sort of think that valve realized that they couldn't really do some of the things they wanted with L4D. Hopefully that is, it's odd to see them do a new one so quick though, being valve and all.

bought a notebook but...
I do have to agree, I'd never pirate an OS lol. Speaking of OS's it just dawned on me, couldn't the OP just get the Release Candidate version of Windows 7 for free?

bought a notebook but...
I've used it before many times... It's worked perfectly. Yeah and it did work, technically. But in the process you allowed the user to wipe his hard drive without even knowing if he has a copy of windows or not. =D> Good job bud. :wall:

E3 2009 - The Big 3 & the Minorities
Pretty sure OnLive isn't showing up this E3. You guy's realize that it's probably an idea that isn't going to get off the ground, right?

Hah so what, we told this guy to nuke his hard drive and he doesn't even have an OS to install on it? Wonderful. =D>

PSP Go : Now True
Saw this the other day, I think it's pretty ugly looking. Plus I heard the screen is already smaller than the PSP3000's screen.

Porfolio re-imaging: SITE PREVIEW IS UP WITH DOCK
The camera I used for it wasn't terribly amazing, like a sub $200 camera.

I took it like 3 years ago, no idea lol. I did do some post-process work though.

Hah, didn't even notice you there.

[TF2] It's MANN Vs. Machine!
Were you on pipeline when me and Ultima were playing earlier today? If so, yes. I might backstab now and then if I have a good opportunity but yeah. :P

[TF2] It's MANN Vs. Machine!
Ambassador sniping is awesome, lot of fun really. I love that now if a map is at a part where I can't sneak around very well I can just sit back and pop headshots off on kids. :P Generally a headshot + weakened shot will usually kill the low hp classes.

Good advice fastortoise. Yeah I made the text larger (haven't updated OP in a while) so that isn't much of an issue anymore. I'm personally a fan of dark color schemes though so I'm going to keep it like that. :) You mentioned the firehydrant photo, glad you like it. I think I must have taken it like 3 years ago when I was into photography. This is the full picture if you're interested:

Yeah I decided not to like a page back. Erdoth helped me out with some javascript links.

Wireless Internet for Dummies? (Updated)
I don't believe an N adapter would help out though if the OP doesn't have an N router, would it? To be honest I haven't read much up on wireless G vs wireless N. (My notebook has a wireless N adapter in it though and I don't notice a difference really compared to the other computers in my house on the network).

Porfolio re-imaging: SITE PREVIEW IS UP WITH DOCK
Yeah I have to agree, planning on going rounded icons. Tomorrow hopefully I'm going to convert it into a larger resolution image. I do wonder though: Can you do the resolution scaling with javascript? I'm sure there is some script out there, and it would certainly be nice. If not I'll probably still develop for a 1680x1050 monitor first, just so that it doesn't end up looking tiny on one if I had developed for 1024x768. Anyways I'm going to try and hammer out a lot of the ideas for the layout and hopefully get to coding the site by Monday at the latest. The biggest decision for me right now is what to do with the thumbnails, preview images and full size images. That is, how are they all going to work together? I'm still thinking of going the hover over route, and then when you hover over a thumbnail it will show a slightly larger preview version of the image (somewhere, not sure where yet. Any ideas?) and then if you click it it will take you to a full version if a pop up lightbox sort of deal. (I may scratch lightbox for another thing such as it however that will fit the theme of the website better). With any luck the site is getting closer to being finished. I should hopefully be able to get it in a couple of weeks time.

Recent Photography
Hope you don't mind but I tried my hand at some color correction for Before the Rain. [hide=][/hide] Curves + Brightness/Contrast + Smart Sharpen. My favorite of yours probably are Before the Rain and either A Perfect Circle or Down the Plug.
