Doesn't count, you're using your college's bandwidth. A lot of people over here get download speeds between 8.0-10.0Mb/s these days, and from their home connections, so 1.3Mb/s isn't that impressive. I usually reach 860Kb/s, but I've got a cheapo connection. I'm at home now lol.

Probably going to cancel my WoW sub, just that time again where everything is just boring. Like, I finally get my roomate on to do some 2v2's -- after 2 of them we just get bored and said [bleep] it.

I give every game I can a fair shot, but a lot of times I'm not going to waste a rental fee and/or buy a game (or even bother pirating) if it is pretty universally known it is crap. Yeah I was debating about that one. It obviously works well on my monitor (1680x1050) but I can see it being a problem on smaller resolutions. I might try and shrink the images later, or even shrink them and include download links to the full size wallpaper under it. (if that is possible in lightbox). Could you elaborate a bit on the lightbox not loading well? Chances are it's the large image size of some of my images (like a few mb for the large wallpapers). It's a good idea. I was originally planning on using the "next" and "previous" buttons for anything that has multiple view points. For example if I had a level I had designed I could show off different sections of it. I may do what you said though, it all depends really.

No offence to Nadril but hes extremely biased when it comes to suggesting games. I dont think he would play many games that havent been praised as much as the ones he plays :| It's not like they're the only games I've ever played. I just have a high standard is all and don't waste time and/or money on crap.

java is your best bet I guess, but you aren't just going to go from knowing nothing about programing to making an MMORPG. You need to have some middle ground and learn first. Plus I assume an online MMO would be quite difficult to deal with all the code.

odd, everything works fine for me (and when I tested it on another PC). I'll take another look into it. As far as the alignment they look fine to me, I guess I could move it down a little bit. PS: I don't have the "blog" part of the site up yet so that's why it won't have a link.

I'm planning on making it look a bit better -- right now this is probably just version 1 (which granted was a pretty quick version, due to having the time constraint of my college final). If it wasn't for arena I would quit. (and even then if one good MMO comes out I'm [bleep]ing gone) Honestly I remember now why I didn't want to raid when I came back to the [bleep]ing game, it's so [bleep]ing stupid. It's just not fun wiping on bosses due to things beyond your control (other people) and I just don't care about pve progression anymore. Not that it's blizzards fault. Ulduar is one of the best looking raids they have done yet, I'm just not a raider.

I doubt you made the 3D render yourself, right? It's ok even though the main point of it is the part you didn't do. Accompanying stuff is ok, good mellow colors.

If you've ever looked at some of Jagex's Knowledge Base articles, most, if not all, are very long and detailed. The point of this fake was to trick people into believing it's real until they get to the part with the names, at which point it becomes obvious. I even read several articles in the Controls section of the Game Guide before writing that article, just to make sure I do it in the same tone that Jagex would. If you were referring to my own words in between the images, I didn't think I was excessive in that (well, I may have overdone the emote spams, but still...). Besides, that would be the amount I would have written ordinarily in such a situation. If I had just posted the images alone, the topic wouldn't have made sense! I didn't mean it was excessive, I meant that it was honestly annoying to read.
