  1. Some of the comments are worse. "Omg where is cannibal corpse, dimmu borgir and (names other [cabbage]ty [wagon] bands)". With the exception of some bands there are good groups there, just some of them can't be classified as metal. I do agree with black sabbath being where it is though, considering they're looking at the popular side of it.
  2. feedme man, those all almost fit within the death metal or metalcore genres as I said. You've heard a small percentage of what metal has to offer.
  3. Jesu- Silver Still one of my favorite songs.
  4. Dude ur a gud artist keep up the work. I rly like supernova to the lensflares r kwel. Post your own work, please
  5. So you listened to about 1% of what metal had to offer and not even anything good? - Jesu - Burzum - Darkthrone - Aarni - Animus - Bathory - Black Sabbath - Blind Guardian - Dream Theater - Helloween - Therion - Sun O))) - Summoning - Saxon - Iron Maiden - Primordial Just a very quick look through my playlist, all of these are metal artists in which they express a large range of emotions, certainly more then just anger. What you listened to was stuff like Death metal / metalcore / grindcore, being willfully ignorant of the rest of the genre. Metal is very diverse and has many unique genres in it which sound, well, not much alike. I'm just trying to say that your musical selection is all in one very specific genre and you ignored everything else. Metal can be as artistic or as "fun" as you want it to be, depending on the group. I urge you to try and listen to some of the examples I posted (especially Aarni, Jesu, Sun O))) and Summoning) to get a unique view of metal. If you want something a bit more light weight and "fun" I would suggest Helloween, or Blind guardian or Iron Maiden.
  6. Computer specs, java up to date, latest drivers blah blah blah? Can't expect help if you don't give us details.
  7. Damn man, you guys are still getting people trolling on about how playing a real guitar is better 47 pages into the thread? I think it gets to the point where we get the idea. You're a badass because you can play green day's time of your life on guitar, we get it.
  8. I'm looking forward to the DS version of N+ (august 11th IIRC) :)
  9. Probably never see it as it flew away to pay for college. If, however, I was able to spend it I'd probably do some serious upgrading on my PC. Y'know, $1000 could go a long ways.

Cure for Insomnia Runtime: 5220 min Ok, so it's not a real plot but whatever.
  11. (1) faded out fractual background is bad. The border of it is much too random and blurry and the AC guy isn't blended in well. The text is pretty good. (2) Way too simple and I've never been a fan of the popout things.
  12. I'd ignore cheese, he's just trying to fit in. :) As for the growling I've heard some will drink orange juice (or something like that) to clog their throat up a little bit to get a growl better. I'd assume when you have a mic it's much easier too.
  13. I agree with you but are you sure you're thinking of the half-life games? I never once remembered a scene in which you couldn't interact with. Even the "cut scene" spots allowed you to move around. In fact thats why I always liked them, they always made sure it was you that was in control of what was going on.
  14. @dragoonson: perhaps would be of interest to you? One of the better power metal bands I've heard.
  15. [hide=]I don't think you are, if I remember. You might be close though, all I remember is there was a big twist[/hide]

Yeah dithering is all about saving colors as well. You can easily use two different colors to get the look of a third (from far away).

You have to order them online from Chinese retailers, might be hard to find now though. Yeah I got it the other day, very nice.
  18. Cool. I'll check them out (and the BM you recommended) this weekend. You should like them, very unique group.
  19. ^ . Thats my recommendation for you, Adio. http://www.last.fm/user/Lirdan My LastFM
  20. Yeah, the entire thing had my mouth gaping in disbelief. Fatality at a perfect time and I don't think the DT realized I'd kill the sin that fast. As far as the site goes, it's not bad information but some of its really basic right now.
  21. Ginger, I think you're pretty ignorant to completely shrug off an artistic idea because it goes beyond traditional mediums. I'm not trying to say that I understand the point this person was trying to make, but rest assured people don't just start menstruating all over their art for the hell of it I pretty much agree with all of this.
  22. Yeah that tracks a good one. I think I like Illa Tidandi more though. Judas Priest- All Guns Blazing
  23. Not bad and all, but the site looks like [wagon] (as if some high schooler made it or something ;p). Plus I think I'll end up preferring Conan Armory from curse gaming more so. HoX is 67 now. Also I managed to take on a 3 vs 1 fight, which was a guard/DT/sin vs me. Honestly though it went like this (they attacked first); They attacked me, so I rooted and ran off a little. Shifted form, hellstep to sin and Pillar of infernal Flame II'd him and imediatly got a 1 shot fatality while the guard/DT tried their burst or CC (so I was immune). Turned around and decimated the DT with 2 combos because he was in frenzy and then finished off the guard. Fight took like 45 seconds. Of course the fatality deal was lucky because I escaped their CC, but still. I have to say that Desecrating essence + hellstep == OP. Ends up making my hellstep like a [bleep]ing storm field as far as damage is concerned.
  24. Haha, yeah, it gets a tiny bit repetitive.. Just decided to listen to a song from that album, 2mins in and I'm bored to tears. Summoning-Hallways of Enchanted Ebony Ah.. much better.
  25. So, what do you hate about Oblivion? I'm just curious. -Poor story -Largely uninteresting world outside of towns (neat to explore the first time, then just dull) -Overuse of the same voice actors -Level-scaling -Unsatisfying combat -Horribly boring dungeons -Terrible quests -Too many damn Oblivion gates (basically like playing "The Library" 10 times over) So ya. I know there's a lot of Oblivion fans here, but damn, I pretty much dislike everything about it. Still crazy enough to give Morrowind and Fallout 3 a try, though. The main storyline was very much so-so, but the storyline for the Dark Brotherhood or w/e was pretty great. I enjoyed that more than any other part of the game. I agree with you on a lot of those points though man, especially the gates. I ended up just sprinting through the [bleep]ers because they're so boring.
