There have been studies which show that Adobe sales (and interest in the field) go up because of piracy. Yes my copy of Photoshop CS3 is pirated because I don't have the money to pay for it along side of college. However I, and many others, would have never even though about getting into the field if piracy didn't exist. (keep in mind that when I started I don't even think GIMP was around). C4D really isn't an industry standard though, most people use 3DSM or Maya.

Stylisticly speaking it wouldn't hurt to mix it up a bit, the goth theme (both with colors and the stock choice) is boring and overplayed. Likewise you use a lot of the same brushes in a pretty predictable manner and its boring. 1) The teal really doesn't work amazing with the pink, at least not in this signature. The pink is too washed out too really work with it. 2) Pretty drab colors -- but then again I'm sure that is what you wanted. The entire signature reeks with cheese and just looks like something a little emo kid would do, what with the butterfly and flowery text and all. (not even pointing out the dude with scissors) I think that the text and the stock conflict for focal points as well, I would move the kid a bit to the left. Far left and far right lines should be to the inside a bit more It's uneven and such but make sure that your focal ends up somewhere where the lines cross. 3) Simplistic. Better, but it's still simplistic. The brushing does point to the focal point better, and the "World ends with you" guy is in a good spot. He could certainly be blended in more, and the entire signature feels a bit too tall. 4) Again I have a hard time taking this signature seriously just because of the subject material. Try to not overuse those butterfly brushes or the little swirly lines, because they're really predictable right now. I don't have much unique to say about this one that I haven't said already. b1) Different which is a start. Text has unnecessary glow on it and it's still really basic. Oh and runescape characters look ugly as sin, never use them as a focal point. (Although I understand this was a request). Deviantart) Just a bunch of random brushes with no thought at all. Not much to comment on it.

Not really a good example. We can witness "Time" but there really isn't anyway to witness Fate. Sure the measurements are human made but it is still obvious that time has a past, present and future. It is true that few things in nature are all truly random. Most things happen due to a reason (I'm hungry, I'm going to hunt for some food). I do think there is still a trace of randomization however, even if the world is not truly random. I don't think that everything that is going on has been planned out in advance, but instead just that certain creatures or even elements are generally going to react a certain way to impulses or reactions.

I'm pretty sure teachers are not allowed to do that... it just sounds wrong on so many levels. :? Yeah that's so horribly wrong. I mean, really, stalking your students and telling their parents on them for using the middle finger in a picture over the internets?

Is there a demo by any (slight) chance? I never played it because from what I understood it's not near the level of Biowares other games (Baulders Gate, KoTOR) and I really didn't want to tarnish my memory of bioware / waste money.

I should say I really enjoyed Harvy Dent in the movie too, actor did a really great job with him.

My summers got about a month left, and I just don't really care to pay for the game anymore. I'm sure I'll find some things to keep me busy. :P Also, I am no longer worried with how WAR will look. The lighting effects, now in place, look pretty damned good.

Not to mention any DOS game that is even somewhat known will probably have patches to help it work in XP/Vista by the community. What you're really looking at is like the 1% of games that no one gives a [cabbage] enough to play anymore.

Cool. I started playing TF2 again a bit last night, custom maps mostly.

It does take a few listens to really get used to it. Once you do though it's really brilliant. :P

Probably a pretty good explanation, I was sort of thinking the same thing but didn't know how to put it. Of course most people aren't going to get past the "eww, yukky!" portion of it.

Aside from what everyone else has stated the entire signature is too saturated IMO, tone it down a bit.
