How do you go about smudging for these anyhow? I never bothered to use it as a technique.

Lot of depth in this one, that's for sure. It looks so much more like just a big, bottomless bit then an explosion -- but thats a good thing. I think it certainly has a ton of potential. The color is kind of boring and predictable, that's probably my largest crit. The border as well is a bit tacky, but that is more of my own personal preference more then anything.

Listening to a bunch of stuff by Roky Erickson. I remember Azvareth recommending it a while back, he really is brilliant and has an incredible voice. Roky Erickson- Creature with the Atom Brain

I really enjoy Black Sabbath's Black Sabbath (1st) Album, it's esentially the start of metal. From the very first song (funny enough, named Black Sabbath) and hearing the thunder roll you can tell this is something unlike anything else in that generation. Jesu's Silver EP was really good as well.

It's a pretty quick (10 minutes maybe) signature, but I just wanted to get in some practice and try to start deviating from the normal color schemes I use. Hopefully I did a better job of drawing attention to the HW Guy too. Like I said though, quickie signature and nothing more. Felt like it was decent enough to share. Black Label Society- No More Tears the solo at the beginning of this is incredible.

Lamb of god is ok but I don't think they're great. Strapping Young Lad is miles above them. :) IIRC Lamb of God got a lot of inspiration from SYL.

Not sure why you aren't just using all crafted gear (well, unless the nerf hit it really hard). Pre-nerf they dominated raid epics.

Yeah... that has a little something to do with warcraft copying the warhammer style so many years ago when they made warcraft 1. WAR is going to be further away from WoW then Age of Conan was, to be honest. It's a completely different focus and the game developers shun the people on their team from playing WoW as to not get "corrupted" by its ideas.

You should really try another style other then hiding a part of the signature with a shadow. It's not bad, but the style is getting old.

Classes such as Math and English teach you how to think critically, which is much needed really in any job or field. In all honesty a lot of students could use this. Many people just have really poor study habits (such as I do, when I ever do study that is) which contributes to poor grades. And if all else fails its an easy A class, right?

In the same vein I gladly wish all horrible web-comic artists death. I hope B^Uckly dies with the same expression his characters do. :P

That and its an MMOFPS instead of the normal thing of swinging around a sword and stuff. Well, really its more of a third person shooter then first person, but you get the idea. Combat is really fast paced too. :thumbup:

You've certainly improved, but I think a lot of your stuff still feels a bit flat. Not as in bad, but more of just they don't have much depth to them. The photomanipulations are "ok" but certainly not your better works. For the most part they seem like color changes more then anything.
