No, there really isn't. I've heard there is a way to possibly get it over on some PC's, but it takes a lot of work. What problems are you having with windows, for one? No point in jumping to an OS that may give you the exact same problems, especially if it is hardware related.

I have a fire nuke that deals damage (That I can chain in between combos). I have several combos that do various kinds of things (multiple hits, big damage + debuff, ect.) and I have another combo that I drive my sword into the ground and fire erupts in an AoE. In another one of my combos, I eat your heart, my HoX literally slams his hand into the chest of a minion mob (only works on minions) and rips their heart out and takes a bite of it, killing them. I can turn into a [bleep]ing demon in which I deal more damage in combat, have a passive aoe around me. The class is one of the most unique offerings to an MMO in a while. Most classes save for the major AoE ones can't take on 5 mobs at once easy. Also potions aren't a big deal, I chain pop them on my HoX. Likewise with food. Also put my skill to a barb and what happens? I out range his main attacks (DW) and can stun him when he goes to CoS me. I'll probably just 1 shot him before then. Bear shaman? I can burst them if fine, and as long as they don't hit me they can't heal. Guardian? Unless it is a pole guardian they aren't that hard, just annoying. Pole guardians can be difficult because good ones have a longer reach then my 2H does.

Nah man, my survivability is fine. Any HoX that QQs doesn't understand how to play the class. Hell I survived a 1v1 fight with a bear shaman for 5mins.

Herald of Xolti. It's a mage that uses 2H swords and does melee DPS. They wear cloth, use a lot of combos that are based off of fire and slashing damage and can turn themselves into a demon. Essentially, they are the coolest class ever.

You sure? V2 looks more blended in, almost cloudy, and gives it more of that underwater theme. V1 does have better colors, though. I'm not sure. But, in both, the render still pops out too much, and I think you want an underwater theme. Well, I like the darkness of the first one considering it's an underwater theme. She needs to be blended in more certainly, I just don't think #2 is the way to do it. Her head goes over the border instead of under it.

Yeah I can't either. And the smudging is just a bit of personal preference, I like signatures where it hides the fact that they smudged it a lot. :P

Oh. Still, though, I would try and draw and make it look like there are blades of grass instead of a flat plane of green. It looks like that in game most likely due to the low graphics of the game, I'm sure that they meant it to be a meadow or some sort (grass, flowers, ect.) so I would go in that direction. A few ways. You could just draw some clouds in the sky, and maybe a bird flying by. You could then show a forest off in the distance a bit, or a town or something. You could also change the perspective a bit upward so that it gives you a shot looking down, but that'd require an entire reworking of the signature.

What's she doin' underwater? :P Anyways, it's not bad. Pretty flat, and infact you could probably try and blend in a water stock if that is the effect you are going for. I personally don't like how the character clips over the border, so I would put her under it. Likewise if you want an underwater effect I would place a few layers over her, or blend her in a bit more. Also I would move around her a bit, centering it is kind of boring. V1 is certainly better then V2.

Honestly, goodtutorials is a pretty good site. Anyways its much too dark, and really flat. The red scratches kind of detract from the obvious focal point (the robot or w/e it is). I would make the red slashes darker and bring out the robot into focus more. The colors don't really match much either, an easy way to mess with colors is to hit Ctrl+B (color balance) and adjust the values slightly. I also Like to use curves (Layer > Layer styles > New curves layer [or something like that]) for color.

The smudging is really obvious in it, and it looks unfinished.

They look extremely flat. Also try moving away from the current shading method you are using, or make it less noticeable. The rocks in the first one, (small ones on the ground), are pretty well done. (1) cuts off way too abruptly however (unless he's on a cliff, which you should have some signs of). In (2) the grass isn't the correct color and the entire scene is very flat. Also I would move away from black outlines personally.

Yeah I figured as such. I've been having trouble trying to find some beginner tutorials for maya, most seem to assume you already know some things. I have a basic knowledge of the interface now.. but yeah. :) Still, pretty awesome video. I still remember when you were making your first sig, never thought you'd go on to do it for a living as well. Man, it's fun seeing a lot of people from TIF grow up and go on to take their skills to the real world. :P

V2 with V3's text IMO. Not really anything to comment on, not bad.

I would start shading the scene a bit more, the cake especially looks very flat. Look up how to dither shade. Even better, look at a real picture of a cake like your picture and mimic how the shadows are. Just keep in mind the candles produce light.

It was kind of fun with friends. However it had a horrible single player campaign, a lack of depth (IMO) and a terrible online community. That coupled with the overwhelming idea that it is the best FPS ever and, yeah, it's pretty average. What I'm trying to say is there are a lot better FPS's out there. Unreal Tournament, for example, is the same basic idea (mostly online emphasis) and is futuristic but is so much more in depth then Halo (especially the 1st).

Varies a lot, and it'll change when I'm back in college after this summer. Currently though I usually get about 6 hours on work nights, 1am - 7am. Now and then I might push it to like 5 and a half hours, but I try and get at least 6. On weekends it's pretty varied, but I usually get ~8 hours or so, and maybe a little more. Of course on the weekend when I wake up I end up staying in bed for like another hour or so just because I don't feel like getting out. :P

Yes? I've played it plenty enough to get a good assessment of it, and I still just find it an average shooter. You guys need to realize that average does not mean worst game ever, it just means that it's nothing special. Ugh Doom 3 was so horrible, I couldn't even bring myself to finish it. All it was was a theme park ride with scary monsters jumping at you, it completely killed the atmosphere that the first two games had.

Why would you need a straight pride parade? Certainly straight people are not getting treated wrongly because of their sexual orientation.
