It's not bad, the black stroke on the text is really ugly though.

Snowboarding
Dad is in the military. Oh. Okay. Why would he go to Germany again? :? But Germany must be an awesome place to live in. I've heard that the buildings are too block-like and boring, but I bet the place is beautiful. There are U.S bases in Germany, he got located to there. Since he is in the army we moved around a lot (every 2-5 years), Germany just happened to be one of the locations. And yeah, its a beautiful area.

Which board style do you use?
SubSilver. I've used SubBlack sometimes but usually end up changing it, don't really like the white text on black.

Snowboarding
I didn't find it incredibly different to skateboarding. (I've done both before). The only thing is is that you don't really have any 'grip' on the ground like you do in skateboarding. I'd love to get into more snowboarding, but I've never really lived anywhere (other than Germany for 2 years) that would be good for it. When I did snowboard one time though near Germany I enjoyed it a lot.

Silk Road Online
I played it for a few weeks back in the day, it was ok. I gave up though once I was given a quest to get like 100 of some item that was a 1/10 drop chance, though.

Only double pick on parts that are too fast to strum normally. Also, no purchasing gear doesn't help other than to make you look cool. :P

Video game giants in $18bn merger
That's what I don't get. How are they going to get more money? They're not moving any offices, they don't seem to be planning any consolidations... If they're not going to streamline their business by removing duplicate functions, I don't follow how they're going to get more money? :-k Basic ecconomics really, gross profit for the "parent company" is more than both "child companies" would've made on their own, so at the end of the day, disposable income which can go to either (depending on requirement) is increased. ^ That.

Video game giants in $18bn merger
I don't think you fully understand. It isn't like Blizard Entertainment is going to be working with Infinity Ward (CoD right?) on games together. The only similarity they will have is they will be under the same, generic, label as Activison Blizzard. The general idea for this merger is that there will be more money flowing around the company, allowing for better games (because they will have a larger budget). Not like blizzard has ever had a problem with that, but it's a good move.

1680x1050 Abstract wallpaper WIP -- Need some help!
Sup guys. Recently I've been working on a new abstract wallpaper, mostly just to challange myself. I know I've been doing a ton of small signatures, but the fact is those are fairly easy composition wise. Likewise working with them is much easier. However I haven't really given a wallpaper a shot in ages. It's been fairly difficult so far, mostly just because you have to build it up a lot more. Anyways I'm looking for any kind of comments that can help. Right now my main goal is to probably make it not look at contrasted and such, but also maybe build up on it a bit more. I might change the color scheme too -- but blue has been getting boring :D. So looking for any tips. And, yes, if you want feel free to use it as a wallpaper -- even if it isn't finished yet. [hide][/hide] VERSION 2 EDIT: Uploaded Version 2. Decided to do a blue-ish color scheme, red didn't work. What you think?

First Try

The official World of Warcraft thread.
What, can I say -- I enjoy playing as a rogue the best. I've played every class to at least 20+ (a lot higher than that) and I still just keep going back to rogue. Speaking of money I'm now level 26 and have 75g. My 'secret' is to just sell the greens I get, plus I am mining + skinning together. I haven't bought very good bags yet though (like 2 6 slot, an 8 slot and a 10 slot) but still, I should have more than enough at 40 for my mount.

Is God real post your thoughts!
I swear I can sound like a broken record at times. What is the difference between a 'god' starting first or a dense mass of matter starting first? Basically, why is god not subject to the same questionings? That -- my friends, is called a double standard. Because there are rules governing matter stating that matter can't just "start" from nothing. No, I think you misunderstand me. What I meant is why couldn't it have just been there. Instead of god being the first thing why couldn't mater? It doesn't have anything to do with being created out of nothing if it was always there, or if it was there at the beginning of time. That's my question.

Overall Game of the Year: 2007
I'm with you, the two choices would be between Orange box and bioshock for me. Personally it is a really tough choice. I mean, Bioshock: This was the game that proved that games can be an artform. Simply everything about it just brought together such an amazing experience. The storyline was pretty damn good as well, not the best but it didn't really matter because the presentation of it was brilliant.. Graphical wise this is one of the best looking games of the year IMO. Yes, Crysis is incredibly realistic and all that jazz but I just think that Bioshock has so much more style in it. Orange box: Probably was my most anticipated game of the year. So, where to start? Well, I'd like to give a HUGE shout out to portal. This game, even despite its fairly short length, seems to have been recieved incredibly well in the gaming community. And, of course, it was well deserved -- Portal was simply a breath of fresh air in the FPS world, and had a great sense of humor that kept me laughing while scratching my brain on what the hell to do next. The fact is is that Portal was seriously probably the best thing to come out of TOB. Episode 2? Good stuff -- I mean, it's the Half life series what do you expect? It was full of action and never had a boring spot where I just wished to get to the next. Plus, the final scene was simply amazing in terms of action and difficulty -- not many games have had that. Throw in a quite good advancement of the plot and it may have been one of the best in the half life series so far (Or, at least, very close to the first). Team fortress 2? Well, great multiplayer. I haven't played it much recently because I've waited for more maps and such (and I'm busy with WoW/School) but for a multiplayer experience it is one of the best of the year, only really close to CoD 4. The graphical style of it is brilliant as it showed what the source engine can actually do and it looks damn good. Gameplay wise it came out very ballanced, VaLVE has only really had to do one or two small tweaks (for pyros, which was a bug) for ballance changes -- they really hit the mark on this one. When each class has something unique to bring the team you know its a winner. Now, I think I have to go with The orange box as a GoTY still. Why? Well even though Bioshock was just dripping with style and (as I stated before) proved that games could be an artform -- I just had so much more fun playing the games in the orange box. From a gamers point of view I view the orange box as the superior game, while from an artists point of view I point towards bioshock. Overall though TOB is just too fun to pass up.

The official World of Warcraft thread.
So like this last thursday night I decided I wanted to play horde again, so I'm back on Burning Blade as Cyrant now. Still a rogue, and still undead. Currently level 25 (almost 26) and I already have made 55g+! This is without anyone helping me, and I've only been ran through an instance twice. :P Joined my old guild and stuff, so its a lot of fun.
